    Disappointed!
It opens with a quick citrus fruity bouquet combined with sugar but the perfume quickly sits on a VERY POWDERY vanilla with a hint of licorice feel. Despite licorice is not in the pyramid, the combinations of the other notes recall this smell. Maybe it’s the bitter almond, I don’t know… it reminds me a lot (actually too much!) of Aquolina “Pink Sugar”…
When the perfume dries down it becomes more acceptable. Musk, amber, vanilla and hazelnuts are nice base note combination.

Baby powder. High quality baby powder, but that is all I get.

Another great work of natural aspect of italianíssima Farmacia SS. Annunziata, the sweet and awkward Chia. A perfume to Oranges base and Hazel that to my nostrils activated in my brain the memory of other perfumes that make your Fruity Gourmand line with silky floral accords the middle.
Its opening remembers the same citricidade the hyper gourmand Pink Sugar Aquolina with the same touch and sweetened orange that does not get to be so uncomfortable, because citrus nuances are greater than the sweet pressure. In Chia, the output it has the presence of floral notes and Pink Sugar you can sense the presence of tropical fruits and Cotton Candy. Outstanding output and acceptable to those who use, and much more to those who sit around!
Following, Chia is a fine, fine floralzão and refers to pure nobility … He reminded me the hair of queens and princesses, something monarchical even those mounted hair and supposedly treated well worthy of a throne, that just by looking you already idealizes a noble smell that can emanate from there. Here, Chia is hyper identical to Frutal My Insolence by Guerlain, with the presence of almond nuances, only even better, in my opinion, to bring thriving Roses and less intense gourmand feature in My Insolence.
Finally, it becomes a sweet perfume, flush skin and reminiscent of Panettone, general Christmas dinner with the happiness of vibe, joy hovering in air and gourmand and that aspect of edible Vanilla remains and gets , getting and staying. The musky touch he brings in the end is what makes you hold on for a little longer on the skin, because it definitely Chia is not superb in fixing / projection, if we compare it to other Farmacia SS. Annunziata, but in its execution honor the name of the house where he was born and unpretentiousness gives your message the way you have to give, printing originality of the concept of naturalness.

So disappointed in this one! After having such high hopes based on many positivie reviews, I was so let down after wearing Farmacia SS Annunziata Chia over the course of several consecutive days.
Chia is a nice enough vanilla/floral fragrance but for me, it begins and ends right there…as a nice enough, vanilla floral fragrance. I guess I was perhaps expecting something more exotic from the special house of Farmacia SS Annunziata. My experience is that the perfume is nice enough but just flat…there is nothing notable or unique about it given what one might expect. Completely forgettable, IMHO.
Out of the bottle and throughout the opening notes, Chia promises to deliver. Extremely pretty, light, sweet, a bit citrus-y, fruity almond-y & feminine, I felt hopeful upon initial application. Opening notes include loads of sweetness with scents of sugar, cotton-candy, almond, a bit of citrus and other saccharine delights. A delicate floral touch-rose-nicely rounds out the fragrant complexity throughout the very brief opening notes of this perfume.
With all that said, the dry-down and the base notes are where this fragrance deeply disappoints. Definitely within 15 minutes, on my skin Chia sadly turned into a rather ordinary, usual, typical vanilla gourmand with a few hints of orange blossom & almond. Chia turned incredibly powdery during its dry-down, a characteristic somewhat common to many floral gourmands (in my experience).
Chia has good silage and average staying power. In summary and IMHO, Farmacia SS Anuziata’s Chia is a relatively ordinary, vanilla-musk-floral gourmand perfume, neither complex nor exotic. I love niche perfumes but this one isn’t my style. If I had to sum things up, I would say this perfume is just too child-like for my tastes. After 30 minutes or so, Chia almost smelled like baby-powder on me…I swear I smelled like a freshly powdered baby’s bottom…not good imagery.
I imagine for the price of Chia (if not a bit less), one can find something similar (if not nicer) than this relatively pricey perfume. Very disappointed.

First on, it smells like the Maison vanillas, ESPECIALLY Fleurie de Tahiti – super foody candy sweet. In this case, however, I immediately smell rose, which gives it some personality other than thinking I spilled cooking vanilla on myself. Something about it reminds me of the Crabtree and Evelyn type blends, as well. My nose does not pick out any other notes distinctly. After the drydown, I get some nuttiness, can’t name which one, but it’s there. And some citrusy tang. But that’s about it. Does not change much. A couple of hours in, it’s less candy, with faint talcum powder, but I really don’t get musk or amber, as listed in the description. Lasts well. I really do love vanilla and rose together, makes me feel relaxed. This is a fluffy frag, no depth, not a solid base to it, albeit the notes smell good, and not synthetic either which for me is the fragrance kiss of death – the minute I smell plastic, I’m out. It’s a candy shop with two-day old cut roses on the counter. Bright, sweet, gourmand. If that’s your thing, I’d recommend this over a mainstream vanilla any day.

This is one of those perfumes that I instantly hated. It made me run to my computer so I could type a review on this sight – but in the worst way. I didn’t however, because perfumes ofcourse evolve over time and develop after the initial spray that I held back.
SOAP. I don’t know why this perfume reacted this way on my skin but SOAP is all I got on initial sniff. A while later, that lingering soapy smell has muted and developed a more citrus like character but there is still nothing here which interests me. Its sweet and smells like burnt sugar with some background florals.
    Not for me 🙁

It does remind Aquolinas Pink Sugar but this one has a lovely citrusy twist and is much better and more suitable for grown ups.

I had great expectations on this fragrance, but it turned out to be too much simple for my tastes. It smells like roasted almond and burnt sugar. I didn’t detect the floral notes. It’s not a strong gourmand scent. This fragrance is perfect if you want something sweet but subtle. To me, not a must have. Maybe I should try Cara for something more complex.

Chia is a very soft, feminine scent, much more floral than one normally finds in gourmands. The rose and floral notes definitely stand out and I detect some muguet du bois in there somewhere. The noisette (hazelnut) is very noticeable to my nose and very lovely. There is prominent vanilla, of course, and a refreshing citrus, orange note that remains throughout the drydown and makes this another light refreshing SS Annunziata scent. I find this classically feminine and sweet. The only fault I find is that it reminds me a bit of baby powder and perfume for babies that is sold in Latin countries. While I think this is really pretty, I think it belongs on a baby, not on me. It needs more amber to make it a deeper more grown-up scent.

It’s something between La Maison de La Vanille fragrances and Pink Sugar by Aquolina. It’s not nearly as strong as pink sugar, which is great, but it’s not something too light either. The staying power is not that great. This is definetly an expensive fragrance that I would probably only wear during the day because it’s not strong enough for me to wear it at night. It’s nice but it’s not unique.

Wow, what an opening! Strawberry and green apple notes make me wish it was a drink. It reminds me of a more enthusiastic Pink Sugar but less synthetic. Love. Silage and longevity are average.

Nicer than pink sugar, but not as nice as Acqua e Zucchero. I have tried it a few times and sometimes it smelled like cotton candy, but others I could barely smell it at all. This line is very hit and miss for me… I love Cara.

Powdery floral. Combination almost makes me think of fruit right on the verge of rotting. Nuts a bit more minor to the sugar and musk. On the low end of like for me. Feel it could be way too cloying and powdery in larger doses.
