„Cèdre Sacré“ from Sentifique is an homage to the magic of fine
woods. Fresh cedar, valuable agarwood and the fascination of
fire are all captured in this new Mediterranean perfume. Costly
African incense accentuates the noble woods and gives „Cèdre
Sacré“ its sacred yet mystic character. The head note from Si-
cilian lemon peel is unexpected and brings this sophisticated
scent to absolute perfection. „Cèdre Sacré“ is an elegant woody
perfume with a warm personality: marvellous for women and men,
for daytime and after dark. Cedre Sacre was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Andreas Wilhelm.

Simple citrus, mild woody, and common cedar. Nothing more and nothing less. I begun to think of sintifique as a commercial brand cause I don’t sense any quality nor new creation.

A simplistic, sharp and mainstream cedarwood-driven concoction with boatloas of generic citruses and synth oudy aromachemicals floating all over the place.

I received a sample set at the presence of the owner of the company. I’m sniffing my way through Cèdre Sacré, Party, Dangereuse and Testostérone, and happily so.
Cèdre Sacré’s name gives a promise of thick layer of woods, warmth, and balminess. However I was completely ambushed by the citrusy opening which may also include some lavender. The sentific journey goes on and soon arrives in a more woody destination, more like what I’d initially expected. 10 minutes into wearing CS, I noticed a pleasant link to Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche which is known for its resemblance to the smell of a vanilla lemon pie. Cèdre Sacré therefore is a winner for me. It’s citrusy and later becomes mossy and woody, and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was also a tiny drop of patch and cinnamon in the mix.
Rather than offering a quick fix, Cèdre Sacré will challenge you to slowly discover the woodiness beneath the sharper notes: The drydown is fresh and woodiness is guaranteed.
