The rose in Cedre Precieux is the perfect foil, it elevates this cologne from the typical ‘spice bomb’ into something more complex. While I love the Tonka/vanilla/ amber/spice combos, the use of rose really makes this wood /spice different, and by different I mean gorgeous. I feel really lucky to own 100ml of this one.

This beautiful, warm and balmy eau de cologne could really be the light version of Feminité du Bois, one of my favourite scent. I used to wear it, but in 2010 I could not find it enymore…I think it is discontinued, at least in Italy 🙁
