Description

The collection of Bvlgari Man was initiated with the fragrance Bvlgari Man launched in 2010. After the original perfume, limited edition Bvlgari Man The Silver Limited Edition with silver stripes on transparent glass was introduced – it depicts charisma of a modern man who chooses this sensual fragrant composition. The new fragrance is presented in 2013 as the extreme version aimed at men who desire new sensual experience.

BVLGARI MAN EXTREME is announced as very elegant, deep, attractive and intense. It excites with its composition starting from the first note and luminous accords of pink grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot. Citrusy notes are combined with cactus zest, which contributes to charismatic opening of the composition and highlights on the floral-spicy heart. After citruses and cactus zest, white freesia blooms surrounded with cardamom from Guatemala and gently warmed with amber. Elegance in base notes is accentuated with Haiti vetiver, Laoese benzoin and Balsa wood.

The new composition is signed by perfumer Alberto Morillas, who created the successors as well – Bvlgari Man and Bvlgari Man The Silver Limited Edition. The fragrance arrives in silver flacon and silver-black outer packaging. It is available as 60 and 100ml eau de toilette.

I’ll cut to the chase. The opening smells great, but it turns into a skin scent after about 30 mins, and then disappears after 1-2hrs.
I tested this on other people and have the same result.

This is a sex pheromone (due to cactus smell) worn by a well-built (due to citrus) man in a suit (due to woods and spices).
    A must have.

Now this is one phenomenal scent. I bought this with no hesitation.
This is a citrus woody spicy fresh scent.
Masculine and alluring no doubt, blended well so I cant point the notes.
Its a Crisp Masculine scent, no feminine vibe at all.
I can see a rugged or well dress man pulling this off.
This should be in top mens’ fragrances of all time, this is far superior to the original.
This is just more pungent or rugged than the original and longer lasting.

Love this fragrance. It’s just fresh, pleasant and has a nice kick to it. It’s inoffensive and you can wear it daily in the office!

Bvlgari Man Extreme is an interesting one. After the very pleasant burst of citrus for the first 30 minutes, the scent quite frankly disappears. I found this to be the case after many testings. However, over an hour or so in, the fragrance comes back with a vengeance, with the cactus juice supported by vetiver and woody notes taking center stage. This goes on for hours, projecting at arms length for a couple of hours before staying closer to home for the 8-10 hours of duration. I’ve gone swimming with this one on, and after leaving the pool and showering, BME is still projecting with admirable force.
I like it, quite a bit. The cactus gives it an exotic and unique feel perfect for sweating out in the heat or in the gym. This one could also be very pleasant to wear as temperatures drop, but once a coat or jacket comes into play, I would shelve this one until temps move up again. BME gets a thumbs up. It’s not my favorite hot weather fragrance–try Dior Homme Cologne, Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, or one of the various aquatics out there–but I reach for it a couple of times a weeks.

@ clykke, I get it. You don’t own Man Extreme because 10-12 sprays is equivalent to 3-6 sprays. Due to the Man Extreme’s piss poor performance. You’re lucky to get 3 solid hours from this masterpiece with 10-12 sprays.

There is something about Bvlgari that keep me buying them. Must be their freshness and not cheap smell even if you can get it dirt cheap. It’s also blast from the past like a Aqva and girls used to really love Aqva on me 🙂
Man Extreme is also nice citrus-cactus juice. Nothing groundbreaking bud still good. In nowadays I’m useing it for work in hot days and gym any days. Sillage and longevity is just right for me , for my needs.

    @seldomseen
You are out of your mind if you think 10-12 sprays is appropriate in any situation. It must be truly horrible to be anywhere near you…

Keeping it Sweet & Simple …
    Scent 9/10
    Sillage 3/10
    Longevity (in peak summers) 3/10
Love the fragrance but very poor longevity bought it in exchange of Armani Diamonds (already had one )else would not have bought this .
Will use it in Office !

BME is a unique and truly an amazing cologne, that screams sophistication and accomplishment. BME is an excellent cologne for most any occasion (office, casual, formal) but is really only suited for hot/humid temperatures to get maximum sillage/projection performance out the cologne.
BME is subtle enough to easily do 10-12 sprays without having to worry about choking out a room of innocent bystanders, and will yield about 6 decent hours of performance — albeit modest.
Despite, BME’s moderate intensity. I catch beautiful wafts of the cactus and green notes multiple times every hour of wear. Definitely get your nose on BME if you haven’t smelt it yet. It’s an excellent cologne to add to ones summer rotation!
    Overall: 8.75/10

My, oh my! Classy and stylish. Sophisticated and manly sexy. Fresh and mature. I always love the light and elegant vibe of Bvlgari house in general, when it comes to men and women’s fragrances. Once again, this Man Extreme really pleases my nose.
Very suitable for summer from day going to night. So charming and absolutely not an unisex one. Sillage and longevity are wonderful. We have nothing to complain about (lasted over 7 hours).

Extreamly poor performance. Though the fragrance is nice, I may not buy this again for such poor performance. Please try before you buy.It never lasts on me more than 1 hr. siliage maximum 30mins. I have to apply 15sprays for 1hr performance. very bad very disappointing. Boo.

Very deep and rich scent on my skin but longevity is a little issue on me. Maybe it’s just my skin. For the scent, you won’t regret blind buy, but performance-wise, one should try it first. Good luck!

Well… having tried the Bvlgari extreme frag, i didn’t hesitate buying this one, especially after the first eloquent and magnifique spray!
My experience with Bvlgari has been very amiable. All the scents i have tried have been sturdy performers in terms of sillage and longevity. The Man in black series is for me a bit redundant, but all perfumery houses resort to the same marketing fad.
Anyways talking about Man Extreme, it is a wonderful scent, one of the best freshies i have tried. The longevity for me is fine, it goes upto six hours. My rankling is with the projection, it becomes a skin scent within an hour, but the scent is so good that i ended up buying it. Sort of similar to Dunhill Icon IMO, but better lasting!

A beautiful fresh fragrance that is as classy as it is refreshing.
    Alberto Morillas, of course.

This perfume is somehow unique to its smell and is a lovely one. It opens up with a bright citrusy-lemony splash and in about a few minutes it mellows and then the highlight note, the cactus juicy vibe appears and is prominent and dominates during the whole longevity of it. At the drydown gets a bit woody with a light taste of vetiver. Longevity is a bit above average to me while sillage is a bit weak!

  17. :

    5 out of 5

Bvlgari Man extreme is a summer fragrance with a twist. The natural citrusy opening is short lived with 5 minutes of life.In the mid notes and in the base the cactus juice smell dominates the rest of the fragrance. The base is woody with vetiver notes but cactus remains dominant.Imagine you peel the cactus stump and pour the juice on your hand and smell it.Mix it with citruses and some woods. That’s what you get.Its a nice smell in the summer heat.Lasts a long time with good sillage as always expected from Bvlgari house.
Compliment factor I am not sure.It is a weird smell.Cactus smell is not that pleasing and that is why I like the scent. Not love it.It is good but not the greatest Bvlgari creation.
Use it as deodorant. Its good but missing the wow factor.Perfume connoisseurs may not like it that much but it does the work. Its masculine and fresh. Like.

I grabbed this at my local discounter store for 17 dollars. Very impressive scent. The initial blast out of the sprayer is already pleasant; that’s a hard thing to accomplish! Generally scents tend to have the abrasive alcoholic overtones but with Man Extreme, I was pleasantly surprised with the initial smell of natural grapefruit zest.
Great composition that I am looking forward to experiencing in warmer climate. Thumbs up.

  19. :

This does to perfection what it was meant to do. I see everything from its offset balance transforming into something else by simply tipping the scale from extreme to man all in itself over time as this fragrance dominates and owns both and shines it’s beautiful rare top notes of cactus zest that continues to pop out all the way throughout Its longevity which is above average at an ideal silliage never cloying. year around, very versatile, signature worthy. smells a hint of both terre d Hermes without the powder and bvlgari extreme minus the sour
    UNIQUELY TIMELESS…
This owns MAN, be carful not to let it own you!
    Nothing is wrong, therefore 7.5/10

Simply one of the most uplifting fresh Summer scents I have encountered. I would even say my favourite creation by Alberto Morillas. This has everything I could wish for in a Summer scent, its classy, versatile and masculine and I absolutely adore the cactus and freesia notes which gives it a unique vibe.
The only negative comment I have is I wish this lasted longer, I compensate for the poor longevity by giving it 8 sprays which helps as the scent is smooth and fresh enough to not be overbearing.
If longevity isn’t a high priority and you want a beautiful Summer scent, seriously check this out….
    8/10

Another brilliant offering from Alberto Morillas. How I passed over this fragrance for the last several years I honestly don’t know. It’s magnificent. Sparkling woody citrus that is classy but understated. I’m not sure how the ‘extreme’ in its name is applicable, but regardless this is pretty awesome stuff. The overall vibe falls somewhere between Dior Homme Cologne 2013 and Acqua di Gio Essenza. It’s reminiscent of both, but the spicy cardamom and the cactus (?) add another, slightly more formal dimension. These are just my first impressions. Will need to give this a full day’s wear, but I have a feeling my appreciation will only increase.

  22. :

    3 out of 5

I’m disappointed in this one, but more from the stand point of longevity and projection. Poor on both fronts on me. The scent is nice, citrus doesn’t last then turns into peppery cactus scent. 1 hour later and all gone.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

Like so many of Morillas’ creations, this is a beautiful and very pleasant fragrance. The cactus juice gives it a very exotic vibe to start off, which coupled with the bergamot makes this a bright citrusy fragrance. Sadly, this fragrance shares another attribute of Morilla creations for Bvlgari-it has terrible longevity. Fortunately it is not one of those fragrances that will overwhelm if you spray liberally. Unlike Aqva Amara, this thing won’t choke anyone out. I’ve gotten great results by spraying on clothes, where it can last upwards of 12 hours. the need to spray a lot means you’ll probably go through this thing fairly quickly. Granted, my skin is not very forgiving of most fragrances and few last on me, but Bvlgari is always among the worst, so spraying it on my shirt always helps. I tend to go through Bvlgari frangrances very quickly, and this is one that I probably won’t be re-buying simply because there just so many other comparable fragrances out there. No regrets though. I definitely prefer this over the original which never really impressed me much. I’d say it’s worthy of a blind buy, especially given the reasonable prices on so many discount sites. Enjoy and happy spraying!

This is yet another Bvlgari frag that I have used for years and will continue to keep in the arsenal. To me, it’s nothing amazingly groundbreaking. However, it is a good smelling frag with good performance that you can find relatively cheap while smelling very classy.
The opening is as others have described, very citrusy. However, the opening is almost like a bar of citrus soap. It has this sharp Irish Spring kind of smell that lingers around in the opening and even drydown. It’s pleasant and natural smelling. I’m not sure what notes could possibly combine to do that. Possibly the vetiver, cardamom and cactus juice? However it manages this, it’s very nice for you soap heads that want a different soapy smell (as opposed to your Montblancs or Pradas). The drydown is woody, citrusy, a little Earthy… Overall, it’s a great scent.
This one is extremely versatile. It’s light enough for a summer day or an office setting and classy enough for some formalities. It’s a little bright for a funeral (morbid…) but the ladies do enjoy it so a date would be ideal. Social gatherings work too. It’s just a pleasant scent that I would definitely deem inoffensive. It’s youthful yet it has notes that will work for every age group. I get about 8 hours out of this frag with the first 2 of moderate to heavy sillage. It’s unlike others though… I get another hour or two of “moderate” sillage before it becomes a skin scent. It’s good! I’ve noticed this house tries to please all crowds and manages to do so most of the time. I dare say it’s my favorite.

So i sampled this gem few weeks ago, and i definately disliked it at first sniff. For me it opens like if you’d try to peel citrus fruits and you unfortunately squeze it into your eyes. I sprayed it on paper so i just dropped it into the trash. I came saw the positive comments so i gave it a second chance.
Second chance. Spray it on skin (wrist). First toughts: eww. that lemon citrus mandarin opening. Classic summer frag. But 5 mins. Not more only 5. I felt myself like i want to smell my wrist again and again and again. It loses the citruss-ness fast. And it starts to become a manly pleasuring young smell. And you EXACTLY FEEL THAT THERE WILL BE MORE.
And it happens. 30 mins later the citrus calms down. The middle notes come out and they rule the world. AMAZING. Elegant. Still fresh. Young. Luxury. Unique. Manly. Sexy. Comforting.
After 2 hours the sillage becomes a skin scent. But i think we can deal with it. Because the longevity is reaaalyy strong. About 8-10 hours normally. And if your girl leans close to you. She will never want to leave.
Guys this frag destroys my mind. I think BVLGARI not missed on this one. It’s BVLGARI MAN Extreme. Must have.

Bought Bvlgari Man Extreme blind and it immediately entered my top 3 colognes that I own. It’s just something about the robust, manly, spicy citrus that bears a remarkably similar vibe to ADG Profumo. Frankly, I’m surprised more people don’t catch ADG Profumo in Man Extreme. Is it just me? Regardless, this is a winner.

I am getting to the conclusion that Bvlgari might be my favorite fragrance house. Man in Black – awesome, Aqva Amara – awesome, the original Bvlgari Man – awesome. This – awesome. I have received a 60 ml bottle of this for my birthday, but kept it until today without even trying and let the tension build up. It is very unique but it keeps to the extravagant style that all the other Bvlgari fragrances have. Magnificent fragrance.

Blind buy based on reviews here coupled with the siren call of the TJ Maxx fragrance section…
    Bvlgari Man Extreme:
Extremely refined- nothing is harsh or synthetic from opening to drydown
Extremely elegant- I get a lot of quality vetiver in the drydown, a pleasant soft woodiness after a zesty citrus opening. Understatement is a hallmark of elegance, and this perfectly describes Man Extreme. Criticisms I read here fault the frangrance for not being a sillage beast. This is correct, though I don’t see this as a flaw: if you want sillage, there are plenty of loud alternatives out there. I find BME to be a silvery, manly, well-mannered scent that will reward those who get close enough to you to discover it.
If you interpret the “Extreme” in the title as meaning something wild or edgy, you may be disappointed. If you want something extremely manly yet dignified, I recommend this!
Thank you, fellow reviewers! This is classy stuff.
    Scent: 8/10
    Sillage:7/10
    Longevity:7/10
Well suited for: office, evening, spring/summer

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn this stuff is magic!!!!if you are looking for a versatile fragrance to wear at work and after work and on the weekends this it.Wearing it today and my coworker leans over and says mmmmmmmm you smell like a real man.just like everyone else said the initial spray is citrus grapefruit blast and then 10 minutes later the magic happens…..vetiver woody floral goodness.I picked this up from ross for 29.99 bl;ind buy although I did remembered sampling it at sephora but didnt think it was ok and then I purchased the 60 ml and gave it a shot and i am glad I did.this and salvatorre ferragamo aqua esseentiale will be my new summer winners!!!

A perfect choice for spring and summer. Absolutely refreshing, elegant, and long-lasting. I see the cactus and freesia the star-elements of this blend.

A zesty, spicy citrus! Very manly and extreme indeed. You wear this you get noticed. A good strong scent perfect for the warm months.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

Man, I just had to do an addendum after realizing that my initial review was inadequate in describing the actual SMELL of this juice.
Upon initial spray, I get a super bright, organic grapefruit that smells very authentic. No sythentic gross-ness and no blast of alcohol. There’s a little bit of bergamot too, and some silent vetiver that comes into play later on.
Honestly, I don’t have a clue what cactus sap smells like, so maybe there’s that too. But as the fragrance develops with the warmth of my skin, it transforms into a more citrusy-spicy-floral, with the vetiver still in the background. Finally, in the drydown, I get a spicy vetiver that’s nowhere near as old-manish as Guerlain vetiver or Terre d’Hermes. It’s just very wearable and pleasant.
So bottom line, it’s a bright-grapefruit, spicy-vetiver, that’s great for DAY-wear to work in the warmer months, dressed up or casual. Apart from Starwalker, this is my go-to in that situation. For the evenings and in the colder months, go with something else. But like I said, for day wear in business attire, this is a real winner. Cheers.

I bought the gift set which had 15mil bottles of Bvlgari Aqua Amara, Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme, Bvlgari BVL Pour Homme, Bvlgari Man in Black and Bvlgari Man Extreme for around $30. That allowed me to test all five fragrances quite a bit. This was the second best of my five Bvlgari mini bottles. There is a strong initial burst of citrus. It is very nice, I get Bergamot and Pink Grapefruit. The dry down scent is also pleasant and I can detect a little leather. The longevity is moderate and the projection is on the low side of moderate. Overall, I liked it, but I don’t love it. I would not recommend this as there are simply too many other fragrances out there that I love. I will definitely finish this mini bottle, but won’t buy again. My ranking of the five mini bottle collection of Bvlgari fragrances is: 1 – Man in Black EDP, 2 – Man Extreme, 3 – Aqua Amara, 4 – Aqua Pour Homme, and 5 – BVL Pour Homme.

Highly recommended for the upcoming summer months. I find this one to be a more interesting take on aquatic fragrances; it may be the added cactus note. Bvlgari Man Extreme in a way reminds me of Versace’s Man Eau Fraiche, but more richer and less sharp.

    Projection: 7 / 10
    Longevity: 8 / 10

This is 100% classic Alberto Morillas – a very dry, fresh, elegant, manly scent that takes me immediately to wearing a wind-blown linen shirt while gazing placidly at blue Mediterranean water.
This has the core woody-vetiver DNA of the fantastic Man line, but most notably the cactus-citrus accord makes this an “almost-aquatic” for those like me whose body chemistry just can’t tolerate actual aquatic notes. I think this has all of the characteristics that allowed the aquatics to storm the beaches in the 90’s (fresh, sporty, warm-weather scents that can be used formally or casually) without bringing the aquatic notes that always wind up turning my stomach.
This is in my warm-weather workday rotation, but it’s just as suitable to spritz on before a party, before a date, or just out of the shower on a weekend morning.
Like most of the Man line, this is a somewhat delicate scent, so I tend to apply on the heavy side.

I’ve used about half of a 60ml bottle I blind-bought for a song 8 months ago. Initially I thought it was just OK: a totally inoffensive, watery freshie with an unusual twist (the cactus juice note) but usual freshie performance, good for the heat of summer. It smelled like a very posh and expensive deodorant to me. So I used it on hot days, and then it became my gym scent throughout the winter. During that time it has grown on me, and now that the weather has warmed up I find myself enjoying it quite a bit.
For me, the vibe of this fragrance is cooling, refreshing, sunny, and joyful. It is dominated by the cactus juice note and the citruses in the opening and mid, along with the cardamom. There is a slight sourness on top, but also a vague sweetness underneath, as well as a very mild, clean, green and not-remotely-smoky vetiver. The notes of the top and mid continue to fade in the drydown, with the sweetness becoming a bit more noticeable. Sometimes, if I put my nose to my skin, I can just barely detect the slightest hint of something woody in the drydown. I’m pretty happy about that, as I think that woodiness would reduce the effectiveness of this frag for the high heat. As I mentioned, the performance is unremarkable. It’s definitely not bad, but it’s also not that mythical “beast mode” freshie, either.
Here is another take on the aroma. Sometimes, the sillage reminds me a little bit of the “sillage” of a cup of Sprite right out of the fountain machine, if someone had dropped in a cucumber and the syrup ratio had been dialed down so that it was less sweet. That probably doesn’t sound very appetizing, but I like it.
FWIW, this has garnered a few mild compliments from female family members, who prefer it to both LIDGE and TdH.
Bottom line: this isn’t going to blow anyone away. It’s a mildly innovative, mild scent with mild performance. It does smell a bit synthetic, in my opinion, but no more so than something like TdH. More to the point, it’s an entirely pleasant, easy-to-wear “dumb reach” for the warm seasons, with decent enough performance, and it’s extremely affordable. If you want to smell fresh and clean in the summer or at the gym, want something of a substantially higher quality than Axe or various deodorants, but don’t want to spend much money, you’d be hard pressed to find a better buy. At this rate, I am pretty sure that my bottle will be empty by the end of the summer.

Just got to smell this in the 2.0 oz EDT bottle today. It’s decent, compared to other Bvlgari scents, but it’s not a stunner scent wise. To me it’s only decent. Surprised they call this extreme, perhaps man sport would be more aptly named.
The scent I smelled is an EDT, which I feel is so important in listing for reviews whether it’s a deodorant, body mist, After Shave, Cologne, Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum.
    Scent:7
Longevity:4 it faded on my shirt rather quickly
    Sillage:5
    Unique/Industry First:5
    Quality:5
Not sure why, but this is the 7th scent I’ve smelled from Bvlgari and the longevity from all of them is below average. I feel like Man In Black, Man in Black Intense and Aqva Amara are their best scents currently to the nose from Bvlgari, but once again, I only get 3 hours tops on any of their scents and I own 5 of them. To the nose, there are just better scents offered by Bvlgari than man extreme. But living in San Diego and it’s warm weather year round, longevity is always tested here.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

The decision appears to be nearly unanimous:
Reasonable uber-masculine scent, crappy longevity. Perhaps a little generic in the use of citrus. In a couple minutes, the cactus adds some of that signature Bvlgari touch and vetiver makes it more mature. The compliment factor – generally low.
So what does this mean to YOU? How should I know? What do you value in a fragrance? What matters to YOU?
To ME, this is simply one of the greatest scents a man could wear. It’s simple, it’s subtle, inoffensive, grown-up, stylish and in total F***ing charge. It’s a rugged family man. It’s a ruthless businessman. It’s an outdoors-man. It’s a man’s man. It’s a man’s man’s man. Yep, it’s even a man inside of another man. Had enough yet? That’s what HE said.
It’s the IDEA of a bodybuilder in a suit and tie. A scary one, jacked and everything. And apparently, I’m not the only one who thinks so. Honestly, I don’t care if it’s subtle. I ENJOY how this juice makes me feel, and don’t mind carrying decants. Simply a much better version of Bvlgari Aqua. Nuff said.
PS – I’ve smelled every men’s frag from Bvlgari, tested each on my skin and this one works best. That’s why I have a full bottle. I’ll concede that Man in Black is pretty good too, but I prefer spicebomb. The entire Aqva line becomes too sour and salty, and the originals all smell like cellulose fibres mixed with sugar water. I just wanted something fresh and elegant from the Bvlgari house and this is it. Sure, there is better stuff out there, but I just can’t get enough of this juice!

You could lift heavy weights everyday for a year, or you could wear this. Good sillage for 8hrs, becomes a skin scent after 20hrs. Puts hair on your chest

  43. :

    5 out of 5

To me, this is a more piney prickly version of Man Eau Fraiche by Versace, except this dies WAY to fast. I get 1 hour of average projection and then maybe 3 more hours of a skin scent. Might have to try the eau de parfum because I do really enjoy the sharp piercing citrus, performance just sucks.
Smell alone is a nine, but sillage and performance are weak
    6.5/10

Has become one of my absolute favourites in the last few years. For a new age, clean, masculine scent I think it pretty much can’t be beaten. The cactus note makes it quite unique and it’s loved by women and men the world over. I have no problems with the performance and never have any dramas getting a full day out of it.
Unbelievable fragrance and there will forever be a bottle of it on my shelf.

Good perfum, but unfortunately it is very close to the skin. It has a very poor silage. Bvlgari has built an even interesting aroma, but as a trademark in many perfumes of the house, it sins in the potential fragrance.

Bvlgari is a fine house and you can simply trust almost all scents being made of good quality and specially on performance, it is one of the best in the market.
The nose behind it is Alberto Morillas whom I respect a lot for his great works (e.g. bvlgari man la notte).
I got this one as a gift sample when I bought one of my favorites from the house of CH 😉 of whom their scents on contrary do not last that long 😉
While buying a perfume, you need to make compromises and find out what the most important things are that you expect from it. For me always the first impression plays a big role and I can compromise to buy a great scent that does not project that well (CH ;))
I tested this Bvlgari Man extreme and it was not something I would say I buy, though it is a personal choice, even if it performs well and last long on my skin.
On the opening you get a blast of citrus cactus smell that does not easily fade away, later some cardamom and white grapefruit and unfortunately, the wonderful vetiver, amber, benzoin and woody notes do not come up to the scene that vividly!
Test one before you buy and better not go for a blind one.
    In my opinion:
    Scent: 6/10
    Projection: 9/10
    Longevity: 9/10
    Price: reasonable
    Overall: 8/10
    not for me though 😉

Slightly underrated within the community, especially considering its price. It manages to be a fresh summer scent while avoiding played-out aquatic territory. It’s firmly masculine without being too obtrusive. And somehow, it stands out as unique amongst a sea of other fruity fresh summer scents. There’s some sharpness in the realm of L’Eau d’Issey, but it’s not as intense and less likely to induce a headache.
Summer is my least favorite time for fragrances. So many of my favorite creations do not jive in temps over 70 degrees, and I have a tough time keeping things interesting for myself. Bvlgari Man Extreme is my ultimate change-up pitch for high heat. It lasts an entire work day, it’ll last for an entire night out, I’m confident wearing it, and it even pleases those around me. How can I not be happy getting all of that for $28?
The only quirk that may arise is that you may not personally enjoy the signature twist in this fragrance: The cactus. It’s tough to describe what it smells like, but it’s definitely what keeps BvME from being another pedestrian summer freshie. Bvlgari has pleased me in the past with BMIB, but I’d say that this scent was an even more successful blind buy for me.

A night perfume only. Fresh and citrusy opening, the top, middle and base composition as claimed should be different scent, but what I got only the top notes and a bit of the middle notes. The base notes? I’m still looking for it. The longevity is better during night and projection quite good during morning and night.

This is a citrus blast at the opening, but it really fades down pretty quickly, I was wearing Eros yesterday and got a lot of compliments, but none today for this one, actually I was told: “you don’t smell as nice like yesterday…” so I guess the points went towards Versace Eros this time.

Alberto Morillas again…a Mediterranean perfume with elegance, great work.

one of the manliest fragrances I’ve smell.
First give you a strong citrus mix with the cardanom. Then, one hour later the vetiver attack with the cactus note :P…
Strong longevity (10h+) project very well (my brother was a few meters away when I sprayed and he smell it)
Can be a compliments getter on the right person, a mature fragrance
This fragrance is very classy, night outs, formal event, office
Great year round fragrance but be careful in the summer 🙂
    8/10

Bvlgari Man Extreme has a very disappointing performance on my skin with a weird smell ( like a rotten lemon ) not like the magnificent man black.

What a Surprise to me one of the best of its kind, very elegant, sober perfect for being used almost all seasons, i purchased it not expecting pretty much, because most of the perfumes i have i feel them (smell) Just a while and then vanished but not this one i think i get noticed while wearing it, very fresh so well blended imho, i give a solid 8.5 out of 10,
    Good job Maestro Morillas 🙂

Top notes are fantastic and fresh right away after applying to my skin. However, after a few minutes, the smell gone, no middle notes, no base motes. I wont buy it again.

I saw this at a tj maxx today and couldn’t pass it up, but I had only previously owned the original Bvlgari man, have to say I am pleased it doesn’t come off as synthetic which turns me away from many designers I wish I could wear more. I own very little summer month type fragrances but this is very pleasing.

Bulgari man extreme is a very natural smell to wear. Though it is somewhat odd which is probably from the cactus, almost has a musky flora
