Description

Burberry Brit is a fragrance that keeps the tradition but with a modern sound, it brings the English irony and English dignity. It opens with fresh notes of green lemon, frosted pear and white almond. The heart blooms with white peony. The drydown is very gourmand with vanilla, amber, mahogany and balsamic Tonka bean accords. The fragrance was created by Nathalie Cracia-Getto in 2003.

The nose behind this fragrance is Nathalie Gracia-Cetto.

THE MOST UNIQUE FRAGRANCE EVER. Smells sooo different from anything I’ve ever smelled before.. so long lasting and the sillage is great too. It is sweet and warm but not any kind of sweet you might have smelled before 😉 very very sophisticated but also appropriate for all ages!

This is a huge love for me and potential signature fragrance for fall. Definitely full bottle worthy.
On opening I get the sweet lime and almonds. The lime is not overpowering on me, more like lime zest rather than lime juice.
The middle notes of sugared almond is where this fragrance shines on me. It makes me feel warm and snuggly but also sexy, like snuggled by the fire with your lover.
The base is yummy Tonka beans, vanilla, and amber.
I am reaching for this more and more often as fall finally rolls into the south (although it was safe for me when it was still a bit warmer). This is my husband’s favorite fragrance on me.
Sillage and longevity are both moderate so this is church and office safe.

Well, it seems autumn has finally begun. It’s going to rain all day and I just put on the heating for the first time. Time to pull out a sweater and make a steaming cup of tea. Burberry Brit is my ultimate autumn scent. It’s very warm, cosy and classy. When it came out in 2003 Burberry still had that luxury aristocratic image – like the ad with Linda Evangelista in front of her Rolls Royce.
I read in the reviews here that most people get only lime and vanilla from this. Fortunately, all I seem to smell is a beautiful sweet and creamy mahogany. Mine is a bottle with small tartan print like the one pictured above, so I wouldn’t know if it lost some notes in reformulation.
With the rain pouring down now it seems Brit would be the perfect scent for relaxing and reading a book by a roaring fire. I don’t have a fireplace but I do have an old fireplace dvd somewhere… What can I say, you’ve got to make your own little pleasures in life! 😉

I love this scent. I have tried it a lot in stores and then sniffed on my arm all day after. On me it smells a little fruity and fresh in the beginning then it dries down to a marzipan smell. Very sweet and edible, but its not to intens.
Im working on a day scent when it is finished I will buy this one.

Love, love, love this fragrance! After watching so many reviews about it on YouTube, I purchased it as a blind buy and I’m glad I did! This is my new signature scent. I’ve had Bijan as my signature scent for about 8 yrs, well I guess it’s time for a change.
This scent is a sweet but slightly soft vanilla almond fragrance. I really don’t smell any other note. It’s just beautiful and isn’t headache inducimg like Paco Rabanne’s Olympea is to me. It’s just right.
I would wear this fragrance any time, any season, for any reason – to get the mail from the mailbox! ☺
It last a good 6 hours which is great. Silage is average.
A soft sweet vanilla almond. Love it!

I understand this one is a classic but I guess my skin refuses to work with this perfume. All of Burberry Brit’s notes are individually great – but together they form a cacophony of cloying sweetness.
When I spray it on, I feel lemon – but it’s not nice, fresh lemon that slowly leads you towards heavier notes. It’s not even that sour note meant to balance the sweetness. No, it’s a full on assault of lemon mixed with sugar.
And things don’t get better once the lemon is gone. Vanilla, double dose of sugary almond and on top of all, amber – all blasting at the same time. Amber is probably the most prominent note I can smell and it makes me nauseaus. There is too much heavy sweetness here and nothing to counter-balance it.
The worst thing is that this was a blind buy and now I am stuck with 100ml bottle I am not using.

I forgot how great this scent is! My bottle is 9 years old now, and the perfume still smells amazing! I mostly get lime + sugar cookie, with a sandalwood base. Delicious, cheerful, sexy, and long-lasting.

I have the new formulation, and is beautiful. Very versatile works every day, every occasion, like a good friend. Very innocent and inoffensive perfume.

Brit is just an ok fragrance to me, I don’t find anything particularly special about it. The only notes I get are citrus and vanilla, and maybe a slight scent of woods. Imo, it smells like a sweetened version of Bath & Body Work’s Twilight Woods.

Oh I am loving this. Very well put together fragrance. Smooth and well balanced. I get a musky vanilla peony. The amber and mahogany must be the musky addition. Very patchouli like. This is very refreshing with the lime and dreamy with the peony amber and mahogany. The vanilla adds comfort. It projects very well without being heavy. I always value a fragrance with good projection. It is So nice to catch whiffs of it while wearing it. This is the heart of a really good fragrance in my opinion and seems harder and harder to find….many just being skin scents. As with a really good fragrance you only need a couple of sprays. It also has great lasting power. And to make everything truly great it is affordable. I also have Brit Rythm which I also love and am looking forward to adding more Burberry to my collection.

All throughout high school into college, this was my signature. I loved Burberry Brit, smelled wonderful in it. The most noticeable scents on me were lime and pear – both chilled; and a hint of almond rounded it out. I never got vanilla on my skin with this, for some reason. But I loved the chilled lime-pear scent. I smelled like a high-powered woman with a penthouse office in London or Manhattan. My full size bottle lasted a long time, and I could get a good eight hours of wear each time I sprayed myself.
Then, when I was about 24… it stopped smelling on me. Not that I’d become nose-blind, but rather there was no longer a detectable scent by *anyone*. It was like my pH had changed, somehow, and now my skin no longer liked Burberry Brit. This is actually what caused me to seek out other perfumes for a new signature, and eventually led me to be something of a “perfume junkie.” But it started here, with Burberry Brit.

This is the ONLY fregrance I wear safely knowing I will still smell nice by the end of a long, long day.
By far the best longitivity even though it is not my signature scent. Very safe to wear and I just don’t seem to get bored of it.
    Great one..

Absolute love! I’m on a frag mission since my two favourite perfumes of all time have been discontinued (Womanity and Shalimar Parfum Initial, sob) so I need something I can wear on the reg and feel resplendent in. I’ve tried lots of very upmarket and quite a few downmarket frags recently trying to find ‘the one’ with no luck. Lots of lovely perfumes, but nothing with an edge, a bite. Enter Burberry Brit stage left.
Burberry Brit is shouty, tangy lime all up top – brash, almost too much. I love that heady lime and bergamot onslaught! Then, she turns on you, becoming all rich, sugared almonds and deep, serious vanilla. It comes in wafts of real vanilla with a catch of that citrus, which is reminding me somewhat of Shalimar Parfum Initial, but at a tangent. I always thought Burberry Brit was boring and common, but I clearly misjudged her. This might be the one – it just might be!

Burberry Brit was my first “real” perfume, I bought it the fall that I started college. It’s comforting, warm freshness made me feel like a calm, confident woman. I was proud to wear this scent around campus, to get a whiff of it during the day and think oh my god, is it me that smells so good?!
But then summer rolled around, and I’m not sure if it was a change in my skin’s chemistry, my nose, or the fact that my bottle was sitting in a sweltering unairconditioned room, but a few hours after putting this on, I smelled sour and nasty! I tried a few times, hoping I was mistaken, but the sourness was unrelenting, much to my horror.
I was devasted but I moved on to other perfumes. Nevertheless, Burberry Brit was my first perfume love and I still have the sour bottle for nostalgia’s sake.

I first smelled this in a magazine and fell head over heels. It’s been on my wish list for a while and I finally got it. I love it! There is some zesty lime at first but then it’s very sweet, creamy, and delectable almond and vanilla. The tonka provides a hint of spiciness in the dry down. This is the perfect cozy fragrance for fall and winter.

I have been wanting to try a perfume by Burberry since I’ve never smelled any of them and know they are popular. When I received a fragrance order from an online store recently, they threw in a sample mini spray bottle of this one as a freebie. I didn’t check the notes ahead of time, hoping that I’d be able to pick them up on my own. After spraying both wrists, I could read one, and only one, note: limes. Now I’m a girl who appreciates a good lime when one is called for. A pie, a cocktail, even in limeade. I do not, however, want to walk around leaving a lime-y trail in my wake. Honest to goodness, even now looking at all of the notes that are supposedly in here, I am still only smelling limes. No flowers, no nuts, no Tonka beans. What a disappointment! This frag must be great on others, but apparently my chemistry is not going to play nice with this. It was worth a shot. I will still try other Burberry frags if the opportunity arises in the future, but I’ll make sure I try it when I’m home alone in case it is another scrubber for me.

So,I used to wear Burberry Brit when it was first launched several years ago. I remember it being a thick vanilla almond beauty…. flash forward to 2018… new packaging new scent??? What used to smell sweet, rich, slightly powdery and unique now smells watered down and familiar. Has anyone else had this same experience?

This perfume just doesnt do it for me. I recently purchased this (4/20/2018) from Ross after reading the reviews. It smells a lot like key lime pie to me. I’m not a big fan of key lime pie so i found this to be off putting. It also didnt last that long on me, but that’s a good thing because i didnt like the fragrance much anyways. If you like sweet smelling perfumes, go for this. Otherwise, go for something else.

I just recieved this yesterday and sprayed it instantly after getting it home. I could still smell it on my skin in the morning, before showering.
Sprayed again before work. I got a comment about smelling nice, but that might be due to the fact that I generally don’t wear perfumes to work that often. I work in a office enviroment and also do counseling for a broad variation of clients, and I can risk being aroung people with allergies.
I really like the weardown of this. I find that I smell a bit like wood and almond. Very harmless and just plain nice.
I think I might end up using a bit of this daily and make it a signature thing.

Burberry’s fragrances do not disappoint: the composition sounds in accords, it is not plain, the sillage is fine and it stays on the skin for a long time. As it is quite intensive, it is important to be sure that you will not get tired of its vivid character during the day.
EDP: I am a lover of woody perfumes, and this one sounds as woody floral to my nose. It stayed forgotten for 4-5 years of my shelf, but after getting tired of light one-hour perfumes, I’m going to use this one 🙂

I blind bought this because it was in the same category as Nina by Nina Ricci.
I get the fresh lime when first sprayed then dried to a soft sweet almond. It is a different fragrance and inoffensive.
I can see how it’d be similar to Nina, the fresh citrus at first and then the soft sweetness after. I wish I could like this fragrance but it just seems unmemorable to me and I like my perfumes to make me happy or give me some type of feeling.
It’s a really great everyday fragrance for anytime of the year, the lasting power is alright as it stays on for a few hours. But I don’t really like spraying multiple times a day so I wouldn’t repurchase.
I’m not saying this is a bad perfume by any means, but it’s not really memorable.

I don’t known if this has been reformulated…but If so,then it’s for the better! Just snagged a large 3.4oz bottle from TJMaxx and the bottle is totally different from the one I owned years ago and WAAY stronger!!! I did three sprays…one on neck and on each wrist and man is it strong!!! Luckily I enjoy the scent. But if you were iffy about this one I’d test it again. 🙂

I don’t consider this as a gourmand. It starts off quite citrucy, there’s a dominant lime, then in 10 minutes you can notice the slight sweetness from the vanilla and it’s not listed, but I detect some pepper. It’s definitely gets spicy at some point, i don’t know which note gives me that sensation. It could be unisex, suits spring-summer period.

This is my first Burberry perfume. I really love how this one wears throughout the day. I’ve been wearing this almost every other day for over a week and I think it’s perfect for me for the office. It feels a bit sophisticated but still light and friendly. I’m not surprised a fashion company came up with this – it most definitely acts as an accessory to an outfit. I can’t imagine wearing this in comfy sweats on a day off at home, more of a weekday pick me up to get going – maybe shopping or lunch on the weekends too.
The almond and vanilla are dominant and ever present. It’s a mature sweetness and stays fresh. That citrus is there throughout as well but it’s very subtle. I love pear and was waiting for it – it comes through for me about a couple hours in and lingers for a good amount of time and it’s like a super ripe and freshly picked fruit. When that pear finally comes in so does the mahogany and that really is a surprisingly nice combination. It’s overall a very feminine perfume but I love that mahogany boyish accent, very sexy. The amber comes and goes – I can’t pinpoint it but I can sense it a bit.
I really like it. It’s very comfortable. I think I will definitely continue with it regularly for the rest of this winter and for a good part of spring as well 🙂

Sweet almond. OH it can t be better than this. Love the almond in armani code cashmere. I hope this one is like that almond sweetness. It s heavenly. Unfortunatly the sillage seems like a poor one :(( love burberry london but it s too floral and I get tired of it easily. Hope this one works good for me for daily use 🙂

2/8/18 I am editing this because I have finished the bottle. I noticed that this does have VERY long staying power on clothing! WOW! I like to spray my current light fragrance on my bed sheets at bed time and when I wake up. I could smell this as soon as I walked in the door after my 10 hour work day. What a treat to walk into the woody, amber, vanilla joy!
I still loved the opening lime on my skin. i will miss it.
This is a fine light scent that I can spritz with abandon without offending anyone in the office. In fact it is barely detectable on my skin. I get the lime and some sweetness that fades very quickly. I don’t mind that. Some days I want to not worry about proper application and just spray spray spray some perfume on myself! Just like a sexy commercial.
I have a 1.7 EDP that I will burn through within 2 weeks.

SWEET vanilla almond!! This perfume is my very first beloved fragrance which made me enter the perfumery would, I remember when my classmate came to school wearing this and I was done!! I had to have it,, this one is so sweet which is perfect for winter but still I like to wear it when I want to cheer up ^_^

I wore this in high school for like a week and then got real with myself and decided that no matter how cute the bottle or cool the name, it stinks. It smells so peppery and spicy at first. I also got intense tonka bean. After, it becomes powdery, woodsy/leathery and sweet all at the same time. It just becomes too much; I feel like without one of those three elements I’d like it a lot more. It smells like the inside of a new leather bag. Monster sillage but less than great longevity. I ended up giving my bottle to my (older) aunt and it was better appreciated.

I already wrote a review awhile back, but I wanted to ask if anyone else has had the same bad experience that i did. I went to repurchase this fragrance and the store had Burberry Brit with the new packaging. My previous bottle was the original. Anyways, I tried to take the cap off and it was on so darn tight that when i did get it off, it ripped the whole metal ring that’s around the nozzle completely off. I was upset and returned it, and what do you know, the second bottle did the same thing. What’s the point of new packaging if it damages the product by just opening it!! What’s the chances of getting two bad bottles in a row?? Just goes to show that sometimes “newer” is not better. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. To be honest, I liked the original, quirky bottles better. They were cozier and had more personality. Can a perfume bottle be cozy???

So when I first tested this, I absolutely loved it. It smelled of thick caramel. If scents had colour, this would be a golden scent. So I bought it. After testing it once, while having other perfumes on.
Turns out, I do not like this. It smells very citrusy on me. It eventually smells like caramel and almonds, but it’s so light on my skin. Now I’m stuck with a gift set of one 100ml bottle and two 7.5ml bottles 🙁
If you’re interested in getting these off my hands or swapping, please message me.

Ya win some, ya lose some, and this, sadly was a loss for me 🙁 I am obsessed with vanilla and always assumed I liked almond notes as well since I looove gourmand anything but this EDP version came off as very bitter almond on my skin, very little if any vanilla. I cant even blame the time of year since we are about to make the leap into December so it’s plenty cold for this type of scent. I have been wanting this for over a year so Im literally crying from disappointment. I know this is a very loved perfume so I can only assume I am no longer allowed to play with heavy almonds, we just don’t get along, sigh….

Why did I ever wait so long to get this?! This smells soooooo gooooood!! Very rich and gourmand…probably one of the best vanilla scented fragrances I own. The vanilla/almond combo is so smooth and rich, and the lime makes it smell like a pie or something. This smells very luxe compared to a lot of fragrances I own, and the fact that you can find this cheap, well…you can’t beat it really! It lasts forever too, so you don’t even need a lot.
I think I met get the EDT version of this too…

This Brit is one of my re-purchased fragrance. Timelessly sweet yet strong vanilla. I love the little hint of citrus which makes it less heavy and perfect for daily use. Perfect choice for vanilla lover who wants to take it to the next level.

As of September, I started making monthly perfume trays in order to get to know the perfumes I already own even better. This is on October’s tray, and now that the last days of October are coming to an end, I feel that I can give a pretty fair review on this. 🙂
I’m actually wearing this today, which works well post-rain with the sun peaking out. This is a slightly zesty lime scent with almonds, some floral, some masculinity. Ends up being quite a cozy scent. Works best in autumn, I believe, although it could work in summer. It becomes a little bit cloying, from what I remember, wearing it in the heat, however, so perhaps a cooler summer day (early summer?). This makes a great everyday scent for some people. Running errands, going to work, hanging out with friends. I can see why it is well-loved by many. I enjoy this one as well, and like it even more today for some reason. I can see always having this in my collection although it’s not a huge favorite for me. It’s a little bit toned down from what I typically go for, but like I said, it’s perfect for my day in the office today. I think I like it more today because I only sprayed it twice. I think my problem with some perfumes is that I think it’s “light” so I believe spraying more solves the problems. Not exactly true. Sometimes, spraying too much brings out the undesirable notes. I usually find this bitter and heavy on the lime when I overspray, but when spraying just right, the notes seem to work together. This smells really good with an amber lotion (I use Amber Romance by Victoria’s Secret). I have really learned to appreciate this fragrance. I can see this blooming in the typical weather of London. It’s both cozy and fresh…to keep you going through the day but to also add a little bit of warmth in case you’re feeling a little down and need a little hug 🙂

This is exactly why I don’t blind buy citrus fragrances. The lime note dominates the entire fragrance from the opening all the way to the dry down and makes it hard to enjoy the other notes.

I got a bottle online and it just arrived and i have to say im very impressed with it, one of my more successful blind buys lol. I wanted it because i was looking for a sweet almond scent and this definately delivers.
I recently bought my husband 3 frags online; CK free energy, which he promptly informed me that it ‘smells like bug spray’ , hugo boss soul, which he has worn every single day so that one must be his favorite, and finally Burberry brit rythm. He told me in a very non convincing tone ‘ its alright ‘ and i told him that he didnt have to lie, because once i smelled it iwas almost nauseated. He sorayed the tiniest bit on the back of my wrist and after 3 days and 2 showers i could still smell the damn stuff! So much cederwood i nearly couldnt breath. So i noticed the strikingly similar bottle if the brit for her, and thought back to the way his smelled and started to hope its not a feminine version of that one.
But interestingly enough, the one i thought of straight away is armani code!
I havent read any other reviews stating their similaritues but its got that strong citrus and almond cream smell to it, and it costed me about half the price of armani code so im pretty happywith that.it seems like a day svent with the type of bottle and that its quite a fresh fragrance, but i wouldn’t hesitate to wear this at night, probably in spring though, it may not work so well in summer. It driesdown well to this lovely creamy vanilla almond smell and its projection seems good to. A win here.

EDITED: I went and bought a full bottle of this last week. I have been wearing it daily. If it were a little stronger and lasted longer, no doubt it would be my signature. Still love it, though.
I tested this for the first time today and I love it! It will be a fall must-have for me. The pear, vanilla, and Tonka are most noticeable on my skin and I happen to love that combination. I do notice that the projection is fairly quiet but it doesn’t become a skinscent for several hours. Cool, quiet, collected, reserved, are all the feelings this evokes in me.

  41. :

Burberry Brit is a rather mild vanilla and almond scent to my nose. I prefer it for fall or cold and rainy summer days. I find it pleasant, but not very captivating.
It starts off with a blast of lime, which on me disappears rather quickly. After that I just smell the vanilla and almond. I can’t distinguish any pear or any of the other notes for that matter.
Unfortunately for Burberry Brit, the vanilla and almond perfume have been done better. It completely pales next to perfumes like Guerlain’s L’instant Magic, which happens to be one of my favourite perfume.
Sillage wise I wish it had a bit more power… I need to spray this at least 6 to 7 times to get the results I want. Lasting power is better, but it does turn into a skin scent after in just a couple of hours which makes it hard to detect either way.
Brit is a lovely and pleasant perfume but unfortunately doesn’t have what it takes to become a staple in my wardrobe.

After Burberry Weekend, which I owned many years ago and absolutely didn’t care for, I thought to give another Burberry fragrance a try. But there is the same underlying scent that I didn’t care for in Weekend, just less predominant. Not my cup of tea. A kind of sweetness that I just can’t grow fond of.

This is one of my favorite fragrances in cool weather . The first spray is a blast of crisp lime with a sweet, almondy vanilla. Feels fresh and cool, initially a little strong, but then settles down later to a warm and powdery caramel. It’s a delicious fragrance. I have it in my own collection and will definitely repurchase.
Update: I get alot of compliments when I wear this fragrance. The other day at the grocery store two women were in line behind me, and one of them said ” Oh my goodness what’s that scent it’s smells SOOO GOOOD!!! They asked if it was me lol..and wanted to know what perfume it was. She said ” Im going right away to see if I can find it ”

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – lime + almond + pear + mahogany
    Drydown – vanilla + amber + sugar + mahogany + peony
    Duration – 6-8 hours
Projection – 1st three hours moderate, soft afterwards
Experiences – Opening is a bit masculine due to the strong lime/almond opening. I prefer this version of the Brit family of fragrances for cold weather due to the warm amber note. Comfortable enough for casual daily wear, but nice enough for a night out as well.
Quick Thoughts – warm, cozy, vanilla, sweet
Reminds Me Of – Burberry Brit EDT

I always say, I’ve never smelled a bad Burberry and it’s the truth, I think this is one of the top female burberry’s I have smelled. I love that zesty fresh lime opening leading into the sweeter almond and vanilla notes. This one does have a kinda masculine vibe that I love, the silage is so-so not as great as I had hoped BUT I realize scents perform a bit differently in 110 degree heat, this will be perfect for fall when it’s cooler. Brit is a very unique, almost gourmand composition,I really love it.

It is winter in Florida( 55-70) and I was craving this scent today after not wearing it for a very long time. To me,Brit is a sweet delicious almond, vanilla desert that is nicely tempered with a very juicy lime drizzle. Who’s to say one can not wear this anytime of year? For me, it just seems to shine the most on cooler days. I like this frangrace tremendously when I am in the right mood, though I never quite love it. I can be fickle with some perfumes that way.

  48. :

A very easy-to-wear scent that is quite calming. One of my favorite go-to’s when I’m unsure of what to wear, but must wear something as I feel naked without perfume. The scent is delicate, but there is a hint of masculinity and spiciness to make it interesting. I never feel self-conscious wearing this one in tight spaces (i.e. a cafe or elevator) with other people present. It’s just so inoffensive and pretty.

I absolutely adore this fragrance, but sadly do not own it because I find that the bottles go bad very quickly! I don’t know if it’s due to the bottle itself, or if it’s just a fragile liquid, but everytime I buy a new bottle, within 6 months it seems to start to go sour. I do live in a rather hot climate…
I typically do not agree with citrus scents, but the lime in this one mixes with the creamy nuttiness SO well, I can’t help but fall for this one.
Perhaps I will purchase a few sample vials, or a splash mini, so that I can enjoy this scent without feeling terrible when a bottle goes bad on me.

I’ve been a fan of Burberry Brit EDT for quite some time, and decided to give the EDP a try. While they do share some similar qualities, they are slightly different to my nose.
I prefer the opening notes of the EDT. The EDT has a vibrant and fresh lemongrass/pear opening that I love. To me, the EDP has a woodsy lime opening that I find a bit strange. Not unpleasant, but definitely different. On my skin, after about 30 minutes or so, the lime mellows outs (thank goodness) and the peony/sugar/vanilla notes show up. To me, the final stage of the EDP is very similar to the EDT, which is a warm vanilla/sugar/amber scent. The only difference, in my opinion, is that I can pick up on a woodsy note in the final stage of the EDP, where as with the EDT, I cannot. I think this woodsy note is what makes the EDP seem warmer (if that makes any sense).
Longevity of the EDP – I get about 10 hours out of it. Sillage is moderate (although I bet you can make this heavy if you spray it like crazy). The EDP is definitely stronger than the EDT, which I find to be soft. Recommended for fall/winter. I think this could be relatively safe for work/school as long as you’re not heavy-handed with it.

Would love to chat with someone who has the Extrait/Parfum version of this. Just learned there was one – sounds like my cup of tea.

To me, this is a very unisex fragrance. Longevity for me is pretty much all day. The only note I definitely can discern is peony, and yet this is still very unisex for me. But the peony is what stands out, and at different points I do detect the mahogany, tonka bean, and amber. The lime, pear, almond and vanilla are all lost on me. I can usually discern most Burberry fragrances as being Burberry, but this one to me is more like a CK frag, perhaps CK2 is what I am reminded of with this. Longevity is good for me with this, this lasts all day, and the sillage is moderate, not room-filling, but you will definitely smell this on a person standing next to you. All in all, a decent, ‘safe’ fragrance; good for year-round, day to night.

Lovely fragrance but mine began to have debris in it. I always keep my perfumes in a dark cupboard where they can stand up right. I wore it everyday.
I am so disappointed and will not purchase again.

Didn’t care for this at all. It’s beyond sweet to me, like every note that I picked up from it was covered in sugar. It seems that I’m alone in thinking that, but it would even make me gag. Very long lasting scent, though a bit overpowering to my peers who could “smell you from a mile away”.

God, this is good… just SO good. Warm, sweet, cozy, and delicious, it’s an ultimate feel-good scent with some character and class. Very lovely for fall and winter with decent longevity, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously, which is a great quality sometimes. A modern classic.

Admittedly this opens up with a sharp blast of lime and almond. I say “sharp” but not in an offensive way. I love all aspects of this perfume. Gifted to me, this started my love for perfumes and my want to acquire more. But I keep coming back to this as my favorite. I LOVE the lime, almond, sweet vanilla combo. It finishes as a powdery lime and vanilla. None of the flankers compare to the drydown of this original EDP. I like the edt for the summer but when I wear it, something is missing for me.
One other thing that I find interesting is that this reminds me of key lime pie, the almond at times makes me think of graham crackers. But it’s not actually a “foody” fragrance.

After a long hiatus, I have come back to one of my all-time faves. It’s a classic and really seems to fit so many occasions – day, night, fall, winter, fancy, casual – it’s extremely versatile.
I’m not an expert at picking out the various notes, but on me, I get a pretty strong powdery note at the beginning, some sugar in the middle and the finish is a
