I got a rollerball of this half Bombshell and half Bombshell Summer. Summer is nice, easy to wear fragrance. Very citrusy with a floral background. Not my favorite flanker (my favorite flanker is Seduction) but it is a pretty fragrance.
The bottle is GORGEOUS!

This is perfection in a bottle, especially for warmer weather but for me…. I’ll wear this all year around, you see I have too many fragrances but this summer I found myself using this more than anything, I discovered this in 2018 yes it is the same as 2017 and I already stocked up! The notes are all in perfect harmony there’s not too much or too little of any of them, the blackcurrant the lily and the grapefruit are mixed into the perfect smoothie. Lasting power is moderate about 4-5 hours but what to expect from victoria secret, I carry a body mist around because is THAT good. #summerobsession

I begged my son last spring to get me this for Mother’s Day and he, being the sweetie that he is, got it for me (I knew I loved it because I tested it 10 times first, I’m sure the SA’s were getting a little annoyed with me, lol).
I am sort of indifferent to most VS scents, Amber Romance is okay, but THIS. Is. amazing! So tropical smelling heaven! And it has pretty good lasting power too! I bought myself two body lotions that also have about two hours of noticeable scent – pretty good for lotion, and two rollerballs, did I go a little nuts, or what! The bottle is in actuality really gorgeous, much prettier than the original Bombshell and the picture above.
I also found a bottle of this online for a very reasonable price. You know you love something when you buy a backup but only used a fragrance a few times with the first bottle!
I know they come out with different names sometimes but please just DON’T change the formula one little bit, please, please!
Edit, just snagged another of the large bottle in store just because – it was there! Now have TWO backups!

I ordered the fragrant powder oil to use for layering my other summer scents and I was so happy with the scent I immediately ordered the 3.4 oz. of the perfume. It’s so juicy fresh and just really nice smelling! I love this type of fragrance.

I never smelled the summer Bombshell from 2017 but everything I have read indicates that the Bombshell Summer Edition that is being sold now in Victorias Secret stores and online is the same as the summer 2017 version. I bought the new version (same as this one I believe) and I love it! It is so citrusy and fresh, with a slight marine note to it. I am addicted to it. Usually I go for sweet and super gourmand fragrances (I love Prada Candy and Noir Tease from Victorias Secret), but I was itching for something like this for summer. It is stunning to spray this in the morning, puts you in a great mood. I am kicking myself that I didn’t get the 3.4, considering that even though Victorias Secret brought this out again from last year they might not bring it out again after this or could totally change it around. The bottle is gorgeous. Seriously, I have been buying 1.7 of all of my perfumes lately because I hardly ever use up a bottle unless it’s a smaller bottle. Already though I have used a significant amount of this and I have only had it for a little over a week! My complaint is that it could be longer lasting, which I’ve heard is pretty usual fare for Victorias Secret. My trick is to concentrate it on areas where it can touch clothing or my hair. I know that spraying perfume on your clothes can be a no-no usually because it can start to smell bad if you hang your clothes back up and leave them for a while, but honestly this fragrance is so light and fresh that it’s probably not going to be a problem. It fades quickly when I spray it on my wrists but I can still smell it on my shirt and the ends of my hair after the day is over!

Vicky is getting lazy. Considering that they’re releasing a “new” Bombshell at what seems like nearly once every month, I was surprised that they just re-released last year’s summer edition without even changing the bottle or the description in the press release!
The initial spray has a warmness that does remind me of summer, but after the top note burns off, the dry down smells exactly like the original Bombshell. It still smells fantastic, but I still have a huge bottle of the original left, and it isn’t worth buying this one just because the top note is different for about 30 minutes.

It is literally the BEST of Bombshell. It opens up my imagination of a sunny field full of colorful wild flowers, or a garden at its harvesting season with tons of sweet, juicy and ripe fruits, ready to be collected…or even the beach with hot sunshine and the ocean breeze…
It stands out by itself as a totally different fragrance and does not have ANY connection with any Bombshell. It lives up to the name “Bombshell” and should be considered the ORIGINAL Bombshell so that other Bombshell babies can carry its DNA…
I know…I’m just being silly and a little “nuts” about this one as it smells THAT good on me 🙂
Btw, to me, this one smells almost identical with Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh Sorbet EDT, in case you wanna try and compare the scent. The Sorbet is also discontinued but it is more affordable to re-buy online than this Bombshell Summer for sure.

I just got Bombshell Summer 2017 in rollerball form. Wow! I didn’t expect a whole lot for some reason — I thought it would be a little more generic — but this is definitely something to rave about.
The grapefruit and lily-of-the-valley stand out the most. It smells pretty concentrated right out of the bottle and for 10 seconds on the skin. I noticed immediately that it starts changing right away. It’s not sweet, although there is some very slight musk underneath it all. I’d agree with the same adjectives everyone else already used — “sunny”, “happy”, “fresh”, “bright”, “feminine”. I could also say “radiant”.
It’s a citrus delight. Accompanied by just the right florals to pack a little punch, it’s still light and carefree.
Longevity is very good, especially for a citrus. Sillage is maybe about arm’s length, maybe more. It’s hard for me to judge without having been around people.
In a lot of ways, it reminds me of Heavenly Summer. That was also launched in 2011, along with the first launch of Bombshell Summer. They were part of the same collection. They have the same vibe, for sure. I’ve never smelled Bombshell Summer from 2011, but the VS lovers/experts here agree that it’s the same scent as 2017. 🙂
It’s way better than the original, iconic, and popular Bombshell. This is above and beyond.
I wish I’d found this much sooner. This isn’t THAT hard to find, but it’s expensive. I want the lotion, too, but that’s also expensive right now. Someday. 🙂

This is awesome – fresh and summery. It’s floral/citrus with grapefruit standing out the most.
This will be perfect for summer! It lasts on me about 5 hours.
Hard to get now, but got a 1.7 bottle yay. If you can get this, you won’t regret it

Bought this online on a whim and I’m slightly obsessed. I’ve since bought all three products in the line and I can be found sniffing my wrists more often than I’d care to admit.
It’s citrusy, sweet (but not cloyingly so), fresh, sunny, happy. It’s hard to maintain a bad mood while wearing this scent. I get grapefruit and lily notes right off the bat. The citrus fades relatively quickly (but not fully) and leaves more of the sugary floral. The finish definitely has musk to it but as someone whose chemistry doesn’t play well with musk, it’s very light – really just enough for some depth and a bit of a warm tone.
I’m sooooo happy I took a chance and grabbed this. It’s limited edition and I’ve noticed VS hasn’t been able to consistently keep it in stock online so if you want this, get it soon!

This smells AMAZING! It’s summer in a bottle. My husband absolutely LOVES it, so that’s always a bonus as well. It’s fruity, fresh, and so uplifting. Seriously, I think the name should be “sunshine” because it’s like sunshine in a bottle. I will be wearing this allll summer long.

Clean, fresh, not too citric, and best of all NO coconut! I like coconut well enough, but I don’t want every summer scent to have coconut in it. This one is perfect – glad they haven’t messed with the formula over the years!

I’m 99% sure this is the same as the 2011 and 2014 editions. In that the notes are the same and overall experience is the same. I am sure there are nuances that are different at the beginning, but the final effect seems the same to me.. What about everyone else?
