Firstly, I’d like to concur with others – the carded samples I received did not perform anywhere near as well as the full bottle I tried. Second, anyone who says there is no incense in this scent is going strictly off the notes listed. As we’ve all seen before, sometimes notes from the original are totally discarded in the description of notes in flankers, and I believe that’s what’s happening here.
For me, this is what the memory of Bleu De Chanel smells like. Not as vibrant or sharp or citrusy, but more mellow and suggestive. It takes the best of both the EDT and the EDP, and then reimagines the scent with more prestige. Moreover, the sandalwood note is superb as others have stated. Oddly enough, this smells quite similar to an incense heavy Bleu De Chanel clone that I remember, Armaf Tag Him! But, this is smoother and higher quality, for sure, and it doesn’t dry down into a powdery incense heavy mess.
Will I buy a full bottle? Me personally, no. Not unless I find myself in a position where money is not an issue, and that’s highly unlikely. I have the EDT and the EDP and they more than suit my needs. But now I am considering repurchasing Tag Him… even with the incense heavy mess it turns into. What can I say? I’m fancy like that.
Cue theme music: Dope – Debonaire “I don’t need … Designer names and lavish things and million dollar hair! … I don’t care nothin’ about it!”

This stuff is great. You can begin to hate when I say this scent is completely different from the other 2 fragrances in the line. This is much more zesty/woody/fresh. The first time I used my bottle, I thought there was longevity problems, this made me upset. Then my employee bought a bottle after smelling mine. This changed my opinion. After whitnessing someone else wear this every day, I can say this stuff has beast-mode longevity and sillage. I was surprised to say the least in regards to how strong the performance was. SUPER high quality. It’s by far my favorite of the line without comparison.
Also, forgot what Jeremy Fragrance and the others says are panty-dropping scents. I have news for you, if you’re out trying to find the fragrance that will make girls like you, there’s more needed than a fragrance to fix your problem. Just saying. You should buy fragrances because they bring out a certain feeling or emotion, because they make you feel bettter and enjoy the finer things in life!

UPDATE: THIS THING DOESN”T PERFORM!!!! I’ve worn this 4 times in the last week and after 2 hours people just don’t smell it. I get mild whiffs as the wearer but the people around me, even the ones with good noses and who like to ask which fragrance I’m wearing, absolutely smell nothing. In terms of performance, it reminds me a lot of Brioni for Men which like this Parfum version of BDC is a good quality citrus and Sandalwood. I think all things considered I’m going to overspray the Parfum until I run out of my decant ( 15ml ) and then wear the EDP when I want to wear Bleu. It smells just as good anyways. The one situation this would be killer in is a 1-2 hour date but it just doesn’t cut it as a work or all day fragrance .

Wonderful scent with a killer Sandalwood drydown. It’s not the best performance but I like the amazing lemon zest and mint so I look forward to the reapplication. I think the EDP is still worth owning alongside this Parfum concentration. Both are very good and worthwhile. I got compliments on this ( ” nice and mild” ) but much more from the EDP because it has further projection. Good job by Chanel.

At first smelling (spraying on the back of my hands) by itself I didn’t catch the relation with the eau de toilette or the eau de parfum but so I sprayed the eau de toilette on my wrist to compare them and found they are very similar it’s just the parfum is thicker and warmer as a parfum should be and as we know with Parfums they instantly skip the top notes or pushed them to the background letting way to the heart and dry down…
It still has the shower gel effect just in a different direction where the eau de toilette and eau de parfum are more citrusy the parfum is woodier more complex in its delivery… the base / pineapple add a sweetness to the top making it smoother & mature Bleu de Chanel has reached his legal drinking age!!! He’s learned from his past ancestors about the art of Allure… you can demand attention without yelling for attention a true Monsieur of Modern Chanel’s
To sum the parfum up… remove the citrus and place a fruit kabob on the grill and let the juices simmer sit allowing the syrup from the fruits to sweeten then drip onto the aged smoked woods for a different olfactory approach on line of Bleu de Chanel…
    Sexy.. Alluring.. addictive..

I confirmed with Chanel that natural extract of sandalwood from New Caledonia is used in this. Maybe this is why the price is relatively high. But worth every penny imo.

  7. :

Price aside, this really is the best of the lot. The opening is smooth and deep. Not so much of the shower gel from the EDP. The dry down gives off a similar vibe to pink pepper—sharp and deep.

Such a great and smooth fragrance. Could not decide between EDP and Parfum but ended up with this and I am so happy about it! On skin, it doesnt last that well. However, you get a great projection from skin. On clothes, it lasts for days! Great choice if you are looking for calm school fragrance!

This smells absolutely amazing, masculine but not overpowering. Chanel men’s colognes are just in general absolutely amazing. This one is good for every day wear.

Everyone knows Bleu De Chanel is an extremely popular and well liked cologne by the ladies (and pretty much everyone). I can confirm it is in fact one of my biggest compliment getters.
This Parfum version feels like a more refined, better performing version of the original Eau de toilette so if you dont have that one, def get this one.
While neither version are my personal favorite or most interesting scent, I do think it has a place in any collection bc it is such a crowd pleaser, and safe bet for any occasion. And again, it is a sexy panty dropper fragrance.

Man. Idk what happened. Did my nose change over time? But I woke up one day not giving a F about bleu de chanel. Hadn’t worn it in ages. Last night I tried it again after showering. Sickly syrupy commercially sweet bullshit. I had to shower again.
I think I actually agree with BdC’s critics. It mundane and commercially preoccupied. Fitting the mold of syrupy sweet masculine offering across the market.
I mean. Put this next to something like Encre Noir. Wearing this is just pointlessly uninspiring for me now.
It’s a mass marketing sex appeal tool for tools. Sorry fellas. I’m leaving BdC fan club. Strange as it is to say. My nose is taking me elsewhere to more interesting and imaginative realms in my view.

I blindly purchased Coach Platinum EDP and asked for a sample Bleu de Chanel Parfum out of curiosity due to the mixed opinions on the new release.
To clarify– the reason why I’m writing a review for Bleu de Chanel Parfum instead of Coach Platinum EDP is because Bleu completely outshined almost every single fragrances I currently own
The introduction of BDC parfum is impossible not to notice with it’s zesty/citrusy opening notes making it fresh, balanced, and somewhat demanding due to the powdery notes and not to mention, sweet; not the kind of notes I was expecting for men’s cologne. Bleu parfum did opposite of it’s expectations and stayed relatively close to my skin the entire time. The scent was so subtle that when I asked, the person next to me said she could barely smell it. Although after 2-3 hours of wear, Bleu became more prominent and distinguishable to me, somewhat stronger in projection. It got to a point where I could barely smell Coach Platinum on my left arm and was being overpowered by Bleu.
The EDP and EDT versions are known to be very classy and elegant fragrances, and yet the parfum version feels quite bold and daring in my opinion. The smooth, sophisticated and masculine warm woody notes adds dimension to the balance of the sweet and floral/fruity notes of pineapple, germanium and lavender.
Then there’s the performance–pardon me, *a lack of*– bothers a lot people. Bleu parfum noticeably became weaker than Coach after 4-5 hrs of wear. It’s unfortunate how such a gorgeous scent is dampened by the poor longevity and lack of projection. I ended up falling in love with Bleu parfum despite it’s mediocre performance. To me, the overall scent/uniqueness makes up 80% of my decision of purchase along with price range and versatility. Besides, Bleu parfum is certainly cheaper than other niche brands and provides better fragrance DNA than most.
Bleu de Chanel Parfum put into one sentence could be described as “the calm before a thunderstorm”.
Compared to the EDP/EDT, I think Bleu parfum does have a bit more depth than it’s siblings. I think Olivier’s intended for the parfum to be an artistic statement in order to introduce the idea of a softer fragrance without losing any of it’s bold personalities and integrities.
    Introduction: 9/10
    Dry down/overall scent: 9.5/10
    Uniqueness: 8.5/10
    Versatility: 10/10
    Projection: 7/10
    Longevity: 7.5/10

The Eau De Par fum is actually far superior as for as masculinity goes, Its more woody and smoky, making it more masculine. This one is just fruity and sweet almost like the original.
I doubt this is a True Par fum
At the end of the day there all still generic, similar to Versace Dylan Blue, Sauvage, Bvlgari Aqva Atlantica, and Y by YSL.
Try the les exculifs line if you want unique and dont mind spending the money.

UPDATE:I had a decant (from a reliable seller) a while back and it didn’t last at all..I just got a bottle for a really good price 100ml for 70CAD and the performance is really good!! I can still get whiffs of it after the 9 hour mark!!

As a fragrance its ok, nothing ground breaking to buy. This should of have been the original scent from the start, the first and last scent in 2010. Bleu is getting old already. If Chanel is listening, the Chanel House needs to release a whole new fragrance instead of flankers/various concentration versions of the same fragrance. This stuff must still sell like crazy. The 1999 Chanel Allure Homme version blows this out of the water still in 2018.

I WAS WRONG… my first review of this was way off.. I got 12hours with this. The scent is rich.. it pulls you in. masterpiece.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

    This stuff is incredible.
The original was sickly sweet and headache inducing – much too synthetic.
In this Parfum version, they took out the sweet, synthetic mess along with the incense and made it into this masterpiece!
The smell is gorgeous. A heavy dose of bitter lemon with tons of sandalwood and a healthy dose of cedar. WOW.
    Scent = 10/10.
I REALLLYYYY hope the performance is better than what I have been seeing. It would be a giant shame if this did not perform well.
I am now a fan again of the BdC.

I don’t write many reviews on here but I feel compelled to write this short one. Bleu Parfum is an amazing smelling fragrance. That said, I have worn it 4 days in a row now and experienced the same poor performance all 4 days. Lasting power is average to slightly above average on me but there is absolutely no projection at all. I have to put my nose up to my arm after the hot mark to smell it. I know that being a Parfum it’s not going to reach anywhere near as far as an EDT or even EDP but for $150 plus tax I can’t see this as a good investment. It’s close enough in smell to the EDP that for $30-$50 less you I recommend that one instead. I have gone through multiple bottles of the EDT and EDP over the years so I have I have experience with this line.

  19. :

Wow this smells amazing ..I prefer this over the edt…It still have the bdc dna but this one is richer and deeper…

  20. :

    5 out of 5

The overly harsh citrus opening of the EDT is here but for a fleeting second. It almost immediately gives way to the sticky, sweet incense that dominates the mid and dry down of the EDP. This thankfully is also somewhat temporary because as you move to the dry down this becomes utterly majestic. It becomes a dry, wood and spice skin scent with just the faintest hint of the sweetness of the EDP. It’s absolutely bloody marvellous.

have been sampling this (BDC Parfum) and the EDP for over a month now.
    This is what I found
    Parfum stats:
Smell 10/10 – basically EDP without ANY sharpness or Alcohol. I also find the Mint to be more pronounced in this and the sharp citruses are less noticeable, which I like.
Longevity: 9/10 – I can still get subtle whiffs this on my self 12-15 hours later.
Sillage: 5/10 – 5/10 doesn’t sound too good, I know… However I believe the scent and longevity can definitely make up for a ”poor” sillage fragrance. An example of this would be Dolce & Gabbana’s The One
Versatility: 9/10 – pretty much all year round, any occasion, formal, casual, partys. except maybe high summer heat as this does smell very ”dense”
    EDP Stats:
Smell: 6/10 – I really didn’t dig this one too much, I found it to be too sharp, synthetic and piercing in the opening
    Longevity: 6/10 – roughly 8-10 hours… nothing too special
Sillage: 7/10 While not lasting as long as the Parfum, it definitely does project a bit more (not a huge amount) off the skin
Versatility: 7/10 – only because I find it very sharp, I think there may be others that think the same?

Ill take a swing, and a lot of people will probably not like this, but the Bleu de Chanel line is a masterpiece. NOT like LIDGE, or Jicky, or Jubilation XXV, or TdH, but in the perfection of ubiquity. The Bleu de Chanel line is arguably the most innofensive, versatile, and well rounded designer fragrance on the market. There isnt an occasion I can think of I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing a BdC. Would I maybe prefer to wear something else? Probably, but need be a BdC would do. Casual or classy, conference or cubicle, bar or cookout, BdC can work anywhere.
BdC Parfum is a deeper, richer, sweeter, and even smoother version than the EdP. Parfum is also very soft, sticking close to the skin with a wispy but pleasant trail. A must try if you like the line.

  23. :

Year into my fragrance addiction and this is my favorite I prefer this one over the edt and edp due to the lack of incense note. I just can’t stop smelling it!

  24. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve tested Parfum enough, along with countless EDT/EDP wearings, and I’ll say that the EDT is great for summer/spring office wear and the EDP is its counterpart for fall/winter office wear. Neither lasts terribly long on my dry skin but are both pleasant and similar enough that, if you enjoy the DNA, you’ll like both.
Enter Parfum: it obviously carries the same DNA, but it’s softer and a bit more gentle than the EDP. On my skin I didn’t notice a large performance difference (4-6 hours for me) to the EDP but Parfum definitely sat closer to the skin for me.
A 7.0/10 for me. It’s quite nice but fills the exact same role EDP does for me. Not really needed in my collection and I’d say not necessary if you already own EDP.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

Okay. I’ve spent the past few months scrutinising the differences between the EDT, EDP and Parfum. From the get go, there were already noticeable differences but none that really made me want to buy any of them. I initially stated that the parfum was my preferred version and I more or less stick to that. In saying this, I still don’t think I’d buy it. In fact if I was going to buy any of them, it’d be the EDP. Confusing though that may seem the parfum really does seem to last less time on my skin or, at least, becomes a skin scent much more quickly.
As many of us know, parfum strength doesn’t really mean better lasting and can usually just mean a better smelling ride. To my nose, this is accurate of the parfum. This does not, however, excuse to price difference. Better quality of ingredients? That’s all cool, Chanel, but maybe you should put a little of those better quality ingredients into the EDT & EDP (which still smell great). I’m reasonably certain that the concentration is definitely higher than that of the EDP, but it still doesn’t make me want to splash the cash.
What it does have: an incredible woodsy base and even what seems to be ash. Mint, lemon, the whole standard BdC sha-bang
What it doesn’t really have: that dusty, almost headache inducing incense. I love that, I love the strength of it. It doesn’t, happily for me, have that weird grapefruit opening that I really don’t enjoy. At least, it’s not as strong. It’s there but not as … Guerlain’s Pamplelune that sort of translated on my skin as cat urine. BdC EDT or EDP never smelt of urine, but it was a little sulphuric.
Anyway, when all is said and done, they’re all pretty top notch modern masculine scents. I’m more of an Antaeus guy, so I’m probably not going to make it rain for BdC in any case. Maybe I will, maybe not.
What it makes me think of: I kid you not, and I hate myself for saying this, but a Darude music video with a yellow or red car speeding along an Italian coastal road. Trance music, the 90s and muscly European men. Is that bad?

  26. :

I feel compelled to write a quick review here to negate a lot of the rubbish that I am reading about this.
This is one classy fragrance and a well deserved release. It has a natural lemon peel top note then layer upon layer of glorious Sandalwood and Cedar. So intense so smooth so elegant. Wow.
I watched Jeremy review this on Youtube, he didn’t even give the alcohol chance to evaporate! just sprayed it, sniffed it and declared it to be too similar to the EDP, what a load of rubbish, this smells nothing like the EDP. It has no incense, no patchouli its so much better and lasts for hours and hours.
    10/10

BDC Edt was my first bottle of fragrance from Chanel. I sampled the 3 bottles at the boutique twice, funny the Edp did not sing to me. I bought edt and parfum on two visits but not the edp. I find that I could use both version for different occasions and mood. I love the scent of bdc that I also bought the shower gel too.
    Update:
Today I’m wearing 1 spray of parfum, and 2 sprays of edt. One burst with woody top note, and two bursts of citrus in the morning. What a great way to start my day. These 2 version balance with each other very harmonious and not at their own way. So fun!

Forget Sauvage and get this instead, gentlemen. I’m a fragrance noob and I don’t know much (=anything) about notes, but to me this smells like pine forest on a sunny spring day. Also the blue and gold bottle is beautiful.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

    A lot to tell here.
First of all, everyone says that it resembles more to edp than edt and for me not at all. The edp has a very characteristic ambar that opaque many notes. Although this one at the moment has few votes in the note of mint, for me it is a important note although always within the prism of Chanel that the notes are not very evident as far as realism, rather they contribute facets to the set of the composition.
Because of this, it is difficult for me to figure out . I consider it rather abstract. It has that “something” cool citrus and mentholated , also has aromatic elements that could be herbal, lavender … that type, and has the woody elements that give the body and the base.
It does not seem to me a bomb of iso e super or at least in the way I know (terre, encre noire …), neither an ambroxan bomb like Sauvage, I believe that many people compare many perfumes that are coming out now by the simple fact that they are blue hehe.
I have to say that I understand perfectly those who say they do not want a perfume like this because it can be bland, boring and lacking in character … it’s really hard to separate chords, see strong and powerful notes. Its discreet projection does´nt help to this , although the lasting is quite high, at low profile is about 12 hours.
To me it is a scent that I do not dislike and even if it is labeled as generic, it is not in the mode of industrial quantities of white musk or ambroxan or what it usually is .
Anyway, if we find it at a reasonable price and to use without much pretension (without looking for great projection or chords with great personality), simply smell good in a discreet way.
To finish, I do not think it offers anything tremendously superior to the edt, except the performance, this lasts longer. Then it emphasizes aromatic elements that the edt does not have and also introduces the cedar (edt was very much recreated in the sandalwood background so common in Chanel).

My short review for all three BDCs on my skin in my country’s hot & humid weather
BDC (2011 bottle) – Projection is about an hour max, Longevity 3 hours, 10-12 sprays required
BDC EDP (2014 bottle) – Projects for 2 hours, Lasted 4 hours, 8 sprays required
BDC Parfum (2018 bottle) – Projects for 3 hours, lasted 6 hours, 6 sprays required

Good longevity, moderate to good sillage.
I prefer this to EdT and EdP, it smells more rounded and refined. Fresher than the EdP, richer than the EdT.
The gorgeous dry down is almost sandalwood, I love it.

I love the Edt a lot and consumed several bottles 🙂
Edp is somewhat similar to Edt but I never got used to that.
In my opinion aroma of this one sits between Edt and Edp.
    Good one.
For me Edt and/or Parfem are to go.
Longevity is good and projection is 53cm 🙂

Don’t believe comments claiming BDC Parfum = EDP.
I have tried it with a sample.
    1) The scent is very different. You can smell the santalwood touch that makes it very sophisticated. Of course the DNA of Bleu is there but for me, it smells as a brand new perfume.
    2) It seems to me stronger than EDP & EDT. I could still smell it the next day on my shirt. A friend of mine put some on his skin, and I could smell it many times while we watched a football game together. I wear EDP and I am disappointed by the longevity and sillage. So I am confident about this one even if it will not be a “1 million” like perfume killing all the flies in a vast area.
    My 2 scents.

I have read this over and over and I cannot stop myself from commenting on this: Parfum concentration is not pure parfum! Parfum concentrations still contain 70 to 80% alcohol. So do us all a favour and stop writing “no alcohol”, “you need alcohol for projection”, “pure parfum”, etc. It only shows how little you know about fragrances. *Points at bonanza1 and corvin*
Pure parfum would be very oily, very bad for your skin, it would not come in a sprayer and would be seriously expensive.

  39. :

Smells good! Probably better than the EDT and EDP but very poor sillage and projection. Sits very close to the skin. You’ll have to bury your nose in your wrist to smell it.

  40. :

Despite what people are saying I think this really is a different fragrance than its predecessors of the same name. Yes it has some of the rich notes that the other BDCs share but its doesn’t have ANY of the smoke or incense that defined the original. I’d put this up there with Dior Homme Parfum as an instant classic the deserves to be in any modern collection.

First let me start with the positive note, the Scent is good but not to say excellent because for its selling price it could have been better..but still the scent itself is alluring. Very nice, deep and classy. The downside is its projection / sillage is average..come on Chanel for the price?? Longevity on my skin is around 4 hours and if i spray it on my shirt around 6 hours..frag sit close to my skin just like 1 to 2 inch..people have get very close to me to get the whiff. I expect better performance from a Parfum. Overall 5.5/10

  42. :

I don’t know understand the list of notes or get any of that from this. Maybe the added lemon zest and minus the frankinscence note, wich i didn’t care for it smells 97% the exact same it feels a little darker and a smaller amount suffices so you’ll save by buying this one over the edp it will last longer a smaller amount will do farther but it projects the same and last as a skin scent the same. It’s just a little more recognizable on cloths and skin. But it’s still a skin scent.

Not an amazing fragrance in my opinion. Sure, it’s BDC and BDC is always a great fragrance but you may as well say yourself some money and go with the EDP. This has hardly any sillage or longevity. However, the opening is warm and beautiful; much darker and muskier than the EDP but hardly much after that.
If you collect for collecting’s sake, this would be a cool one to have. If you want a bleu de chanel that will get you compliments- look at another version.

While Jacques Polge is an outright legend, to me the entire Chanel Men’s line smells a bit dated. Nothing wrong with that, as their scents are classics. But as much as I like their line, they really needed something a bit more modern. Well, enter Olivier Polge, the perfect person to step in for a more modern twist to a classic smelling cologne. BdCP has the Bleu De Chanel DNA, but now the parfum smells juicier and deeper, a step away from those classic lighter fougeres. I really like this one since it adds a layer of complexity to an already classic fragrance.

Sorry guys and gals, but I do not take a perfume concentration as an excuse for a poor performance. Yes, it does not have alcohol for projection. But how come, that perfumes of the past were always the best and strongest performers? We do not even have to go that far into the past. Take Dior homme parfum of fahrenheit parfum… Those are beasts compared to this.
That being said, I think we reached new level of poor performance – ultra poor. I did some more tests (went to buy Edition Blanche and received like 10 samples of bleu parfum) with friends (6 woman and 3 men). We tested it in corridors in buildings, outside, etc.
Projection is zero, few minutes after application. Non of my friends were able to detect it after 15 mins and it was in a meeting room.
However it has a soft silage for about and hour. Friends followed me in corridors and were able to detect it. But after that hour, it is dead.
Another test was outside. And that was a catastrophe. 9 people, no detection.
Of course, you will be able to detect it on your skin, even after 10 Hours, but you have to dig your nose really deep.
These are real life situations and tests. Do not start with skin chemistry and all that stuff. We applied on both skin and clothes.
Overall performance is worse than poor. I think Chanels goal is to sell water in 2020 for 300 bucks.
What I am sad about is that reviewers do not care much about these facts and that they are not pointing on these serious problems of nowadays fragrances.
    Cheers.

OK I’m finishing my EDT bottle, decided I need a little break from using it however still would like to smell kinda’ similar. I’ve considered EDP and this one.
Testing is done. Bought a bottle of Parfum.
Parfum to me is a mix of EDT drydown and an EDP drydown. It lacks that awful cheap shower gel-like opening I know from the EDP opening. It also lacks all fresh elements known from EDT – especially mix of grapefruit, pepper and incense. There is quite a lot of ginger for me. That soapy vibe, very prominent on my skin.
Interesting. Curious about my future feelings after further usage.

It is similar to edp but with 2-3 hours more longetivity , i tried both yesterday , people should try before say that has similar performance to edp

Loved the EDP but the Parfum is also really nice. Is it worth $150? I honestly don’t know but this scent is really nice. It’s very similar to the EDP but it felt a little sweeter and for me performs better in warmer weather. Definitely try it out and if you have the money get this over the EDP.

For me this one is very different from the two others. EDT and EDP has this shower gel feeling but PARFUM is much more woodier and condensed, I wouldn’t say they are similar. This is very interesting that Oliver Polge put in this one some DNA of CHANEL no. 5, I like it and there is also some spiciness that reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez for him Bleu Noir. Very solid release, this is my favorite Bleu, because it is the most classy and sophisticated Bleu among them three.

Finally, I came to test the last Chanel man’s perfume, intrigued by the contradictory descriptions of previous reviews.
Immediately after applying, I did not feel any difference to EDP, which is very good as it seems to me a perfect introduction.
After 10-15 minutes, the perfume evolves similarly to EDP, but much richer and, very importantly, with a plus of ingredients quality. The notes of patchouli and incense have either disappeared or drastically reduced their concentration, being replaced with sandalwood and cedar.
This stage is luxuriant and very mature, I think I do not exaggerate if I say it seems the best Chanel man’s perfume.
I think Olivier Polge has made considerable efforts for this success, but, ironically, I do not know how many people will appreciate these details.
For about two hours, the olfactory senses are in ecstasy, after which came the drydown notes, which are composed mainly of cedarwood, a little sandalwood and a vague/shade of incense, that produces me contradictory feelings – I appreciate the increase of natural ingredients (EDP contained a large dose of Iso E Super that made me anosmic after an hour), but the structure is deceiving simple, almost naive one.
I think many of the negative reviews or those that consider it a inferior product to the EDP variant are due to drydown notes. At this stage, the perfume is graceful but slightly generic and outdated (the classic combination of the cedarwood/sandalwood).
Longevity is very good and the projection is initial high, after which it becomes average.
Personally, I consider this parfum version to be an improvement of the EDP.
    Fragrance 10/10
    Projection High/Medium
    Longevity 10 h

Chanel nailed this one in my opinion!
    EDT has fresh elements.
Parfum is a bit more toned down but more woody
    EDP is redundant.
    I’m really digging this one.
    Quality is on point.
    Subtle but assertive.
    8/10
    Performance is average though.
    This is signature worthy
