Sure it smells delicious, but I don’t think I would want to wear it on myself as a fragrance, instead I think it’d be better for a candle . The nutty/caramel note is too sweet imo to wear on skin

It is exactly as the notes say. Sweet chocolate, caramel rum. The coffee, sandalwood and almond enhance it a bit and it doesn’t turn feminine. Well blended and well crafted.

There is some smoke in this. Comes off very rich. Another Fall/Winter classic for the gourmand lover!

Got this for awhile now and finally can do a full review. Upon spray you can feel the rum, boozy with coffee (sweet not the bitter type) on opening, the rum lingers for awhile and you get the caramel and chocolate. This chocolate, coffee, caramel mixture is what you get till the end of the fragrance (a latte feel to it). There is an almond note, but I don’t really smell it, also sandalwood which is in the background faintly which gives it a creamy vibe at the base. Overall an easy to wear gourmand scent, the smell feels very natural i dont find it very synthetic at all. A total love in my books.
Performance is great lasted more than 8 hours on me with a solid moderate projection, nothing cloying here, it’s just right (although i want all my frags to be screaming ) this is acceptable (i mean what’s even the point if you can’t even smell yourself wearing a frag).
Price wise, well on the high side as with all niche brands obviously. I just hope they give you a 100 ml though rather than just 50ml.
Overall it’s worth checking out if you’re a coffee lover.

@uchini, the official website does list cyanide as a fragrance note. It’s definitely a fantasy note, though. Along with being extremely toxic, cyanide salts can undergo reactions that would alter the structure of many scent molecules.

It’s a gourmand: when I tried it, the chocolate and caramel overpowered the rum note. At first spray it didn’t seem to project at all on my skin but eventually it did give some moderate projection. Not cloyingly sweet, but sweet. Unisex, but it leans masculine as there’s a nice bitter/earthy note in the dry-down.

Great fragrance..but its not unisex, i think its for male only very masculine..and yes great performance..

Excellent choice for the gourmand lover. Very reminiscent of a much higher quality polo red extreme.

Not a fan of this one. I dislike sweet fragrances like 1 million and code Profumo. This is your typical Niche Gourmand that is cloyingly sweet. I really don’t want to smell like chocolate and caramel

This is the second Kilian I have tried a sample of and it is a very high quality fragrance. That being said I do not know how they arrived at the name “Black Phantom”. Something a little less ominous would fit a bit better. It is very sweet smelling and the caramel smell really stands out to me. I’m not smelling much of the chocolate or coffee. It’s good but I have no idea when you would wear this fragrance.
I wore this and a friend said it smells like sugary stripper perfume.

I’m on my second bottle of Black Phantom. I love it and if I had to choose one fragrance this would almost certainly be the one I’d keep. I find the bitter note lasts and helps to offset the sweetness of the chocolate and caramel. The addition of coffee and rum, and the lack of strong woody notes, makes this my most favourite fragrance.

  12. :

    5 out of 5

Yes, the box and bottle for Black Phantom are totally gorgeous, and I personally think this is part of its appeal. This fragrance smells good, but IMO it is very over-priced and over-hyped.
I get the initial rum blast…Kind of fun and interesting, but for me this is where it ends. Within about 30 mins, Black Phantom turns on my skin to a near copy of Tom Ford Black Orchid meets Vanille Fatale (two scents that are very similar in the first place). I like Vanille Fatale more than Black Orchid, as Black Orchid is cloying on me and usually gives me a headache and is a scrubber.
I will give Black Phantom credit though; It is very long lasting. It’s ironic that a scent I love and am obsessed with, will fade so quickly; yet a scent I do not like, or love will last all day!
Reading the notes about Black Phantom, it seemed like it could be my dream scent, alas it is very forgettable. The bottle and box are the best things about this Kilian!

nag champa with less smoke and add a little hint of fruity (yes I know fruits are not listed) with a little extra sweetness.
it’s sweeter then I like my fragrances but it’s done right on this one, but can still push a little cloying

Damn Kilian, why don’t you just take all my money?? Sweet Jesus in the morn, this is gourmie heaven!
I got a sample of this with a Kilian order and told the SA to surprise me. Gaaaaaaaah, I wish she hadn’t included this one! I seriously wanted to eat my arm when I tested it. I agree, it’s not a groundbreaking gourmand, but if you’re a huge gourmie lover, do try it. I mean, what’s not to love?? Boozy, chocolaty caramel, anyone? It smells kinda like a cross between TM’s Angel, Escada’s Magnetism (minus the green top notes) and TM’s Pure Tonka. Simply delicious!
Sillage and longevity are beast mode on this one, so go easy on the sprays. This lasted well over 10 hours on me with one spray. As for the price, yeah it’s $$$$, but if you love it and it works for you, then indulge. Kilian is gonna have me in the poor house!

    Sweet inebriating fragrance.
If theres is a fragrance yould would like to take a bite of this would be the one.
Be careful wearing it not to be bitten.

    Both good longevity and sillage.

Not a big fan of gourmand fragrances but I actually like this one. It’s got a nice chocolate coffee vibe and is a safe wear for any occasion. It’s my favorite of the Kilian line and dark and sweet but not too much in either direction . Still debating on buying a full bottle.
Edit–I love this. It grew on me and now I’m done.

I just want to clarify this really doesn’t smell like A*Mens pure Tonka.
What I usually do before I purchase expensive Niche fragrances is – I also smell and sample cheaper frags that are close.
With this practice is why I no longer own bottles of Aventus because club de Nuit is close enough.
Pure Tonka & Black Phantom, They’ve got some similarities that get mixed like a Coffee and chocolate note, but…
Where is the Rum, sugar cane, Heliotrope, sandalwood and Cyanide (smells like almonds) in pure Tonka?
Likewise, where is the huge Tonka Bean, lavender, licorice, patchouli & mint in Black phantom.
Their similar enough to draw a connection, but side by side they sell significantly diffrent.

The problem for the perfume houses that make unisex colognes is sometimes you get the exact opposite effect of what you intended. Instead of getting both male and female marketshares, you get none as men find it too feminine and women find it too masculine.

This is what it means to be gourmet. Firstly I’m Not much of a sweet delicious fragrance lover but WOW! Creamy & delicious start to finish.
The Opening: A refined Rum Smell, not boozy more like Rum cake, and sweet. A Gentle sweetness (probably the sugar cane note) with a dose of Vanilla & Coffee bean.
A 2 hours later: Once if Dries down the scent stays similar, the Rum, coffee and Vanilla are their but less powerful, I feel the sweetness of the sugar cane has manifested itself into caramel. I don’t really smell Dark Chocolate although my Significant Other says she can.
4 hours later: It’s hard to describe it. It’s just blended so well. It’s intoxicatingly good to smell but I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. Their is a gentle woodsy note, very smooth & creamy the chocolaty smell is a bit more pronounced, the sweet rum and caramel are slill their. Perhaps what I’m smelling is the almond? Or heliotrape?
It’s a really Great fragrance. Definitely Unisex. It’s also currently my #1 compliment getter. People love this delicious smell.
    Performance is a overall Good.
The silage is decent for the first hour or 2. Then becomes a closer more intimate smell for the remaining 6 hours that it lasted which was about 8 hours total longevity on the skin. Which is decent I suppose as a sweat quite a bit. even hardcore frags like 24 Gold don’t last more than 10 hours on me.
On fabrics this scent is borderline immortal. I’ve got a sample card that was sprayed – and I’ve been casually sniffing it for like 2 weeks now.
Edit June.6.2018: According to Kilian’s Website information, Vetiver essence and Cyanide are Key elements to this fragrance. interesting.
EDIT June.24.2018: Everyone who says the smell a sweet creamy Almond aroma, that’s the Cyanide. Points for creativity!

Word of advice.. give this multiple wearings. I’m not a big gourmie willing to hop on any gourmand train by any stretch of the imagination..but..this…
I thought it was ok on first wear at bedtime. Next night I went to put on my pyjamas the nicest chocolate_coffee drydown happened.. gorgeous.
Do feel it needs something more with it? Yes. Angel and this to replace her lost gourmand notes due to recent reforms.. Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous works well with it too… It’s much more versitile than I thought. It’s especially great with Love by Kilian as well. Phantom may steal your gourmand heart

This is a tasteful gourmand which to me seems squarely unisex, but my husband disagrees. He thinks it’s too sweet and feminine, but he has emptied a bottle of Hanae Mori which to my nose has the same quality of sweetness. Whatever. I like it, but it is a little too sweet to be fbw for me. However this is a must try for gourmand lovers who want something a little more refined.

Black Phantom is very sweet and sexy. It smells like coffee, sugar cane, caramel, chocolate, rum… wow. Very gourmand. It lasts very long (7-9 hours).

The Perfumed Court sends a piece of Bali’s Best Espresso Candy with every order (at least that’s my experience). Black Phantom smells exactly like how that candy tastes.

Sweet coffee and butterscotch. I got low sillage and poor longevity, becoming a skin scent after 1-2 hours. Received as a sample and won’t be buying a full bottle. There are better sweet fragrances out there.

I had been dying to get black phantom even though I hadn’t tried it, I just knew i would love it. And I certainly do! This scent has me in awe! First I sprayed it on my boyfriend, who likes this as well, and the scent trail he left behind when he moved was intoxicating to the point that you instantly get addicted to it like a drug.
On my skin, I smell the caramel and rum the most. I do get the chocolate as well as the coffee, but caramel and rum are prominent. This is a warm spicy sweet gourmand that is to die for. Closing my eyes and smelling it, I envision that I am sitting in a coffee shop, and in my caramel flavored coffee I have a shot of rum. Another Kilian beauty!

Amazing scent, does not smell like Pure Tonka or the Salvatore, just the usual comparisons from people that seemingly don’t have much experience with fragrances

  28. :

    5 out of 5

Black Phantom is a soft gourmand fragrance. An almond accord seems to take precedence as the strongest presence here. The opening is very faint upon spraying it on. The fragrance is almost undetectable. Yet eventually, in the spirit of a true phantom, the soft gourmand essence begins to slowly manifest itself.
I think this is an ISO E Super trick if I’m not mistaken. The ISO E Super is a very large molecule, that triggers the G-Protein to open up ion channels so that the molecule can be processed. The opened ion channels then naturally lead to greater perception of smell. This could mean that there’s actually only a very tiny amount of fragrant content here, and it’s only by the ISO E Super that it becomes so perceivable.
The gourmand notes here are soft and sweet. Faint and ghost-like. And seemingly well-blended so that they project as a single enchanting aroma. Underlying this essence is the faint presence of softened flowers, which add a hazy freshness to the gourmand notes, something like a vintage black and white filter on the movie screen. The almond accord almost has a parlor sundae feel, with its nuttiness, alongside the light whipped cream-like hazy florals.
For its interesting qualities, I think that Black Phantom would definitely make a unique addition to the collection of any connoisseur; but anyone looking for a powerhouse gourmand though isn’t going to find it here.
Black Phantom is truly the artistic embodiment of a ghost. A presence in which you would swear is there, but exists beyond the veil. So close, yet so distant—beyond the pale.

Very seductive scent. Will be purchasing after I save up my coins lol because Killians perfume are expensive but worth it. I love a scent where not everyone smells like you. This is very sexy and is def for the evening/night with you LBD on.

This is a very interesting fragrance.. Initially, on the opening, the notes of rum, caramel, and a nuttiness that is more peanut than almond, are very much present, along with a slight, subtle coffee note. The very true to life rum note quickly dies down (does not dissapear) and you are left with a chocolately, caramel, peanut like scent. The nuttiness of this fragrance is somewhat reminiscent of peanut butter! I get a lot of the nuttiness, which in my opinion is the most prominent note despite it being near the bottom of the note voting. Moreover, I really would say this is more of a peanut note than an almond note.. In fact, I barely get the almond vibe at all.. It’s just peanut! It’s very sweet, and of a very high quality! I will be picking this one up at some point in the near future for sure.. Best for autumn and winter nights, casual..!
    Versatility: 5/10
Season: Mostly fall, but winter too
    Projection/sillage: Moderate
    Longevity: 8/10
    Scent: 9/10

The opening is very beautiful, it starts with a pungent rum note mixed with coffee and caramel. Five minutes later the smell of coffee becomes dusty and you get instantly transported inside a Nespresso store. Very well blended, a cousy scent for a day of cold-cold-weather.

    What a gorgeous fragrance.
It’s a cocktail liqueur infused with rum, caramel, chocolate, almonds on bed of soft woods. I get no coffee notes distinctively but it has a coffee vibe with all the notes combined, a nicely constructed Irish coffee with almonds. I just want to chew my arm off it smells so good.
Seems some people below are saying it’s nothing groundbreaking, smells like other fragrances? Like what? Pointless reviews making generalised statements with nothing to back it up. I’m not saying there is nothing similar, but it’s nothing common. I have nothing close to it in my 70 bottle collection. So for me this is totally unique. Yes the price is a bummer, but I’ll pick it up without the full presentation box.
Do yourself a favour, if you love boozy gourmands, get a sample!

I loved the initial spray. For the first 15-25 minutes this was intoxicating. Then something happened and it turned into something nauseating. This was the second fragrance other than Hilde Soliani’s Crema Di Latte that I actually desperately scrubbed off my skin. I wanted to love this fragrance badly, but it literally turned my stomach. In terms of notes, I noticed that these two fragrances have a sugar/sugar cane note in common as well as a similar sense of a creaminess and sweetness. I wonder if that is what is so off putting to me? Please don’t get me wrong these two fragrances smell nothing alike, however there are two strong commonalities to my nose that just seem to literally put me off. So unfortunate! And the presentation on this was to die for! I wanted to buy it for the presentation alone!

The gourmand to end all gourmands.
This is a special frag. Kilians interpretation of a irish coffee mixed with a boozey undertone.
You get the coffee and chocolate dry down with great performance.
I can understand why the average person wont gravitate towards a 400 dollar (CAD) gourmand but ket me tell you….this is a frag you shoukd wear for a close encounter with your dream chick. I dont see the opposite sex saying no to this.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

    It’s nice.
But it is NOT $200+ nice.
Yes it’s creamy, dark, and sweet. I don’t get strong chocolate at all, many fragrances do that better. I don’t get coffee either.
In a way it reminds me a little bit of Noir Exquis by L’Artisan. Except that I prefer the L’Artisan interpretation of a creamy, nutty, sweet fragrance.
    It’s safe.
    It’s nice.
But I’d rather wear just about anything else in my collection. Meh.

This fragrance has a mouth watering caramel and creamy sandalwood dry down. The sweetness is not candy like, it smells like your cooking caramel at home. The boozy coffee smell really keep everything together without standing out.
it’s hard to pickup on individual notes, it feels like its all one dark sweetness.
Honestly, this is a masterpiece that you should try at least. I would recommend blind buying this juice if you are looking for a gourmand that’s top quality.

Black Phantom by Kilian is a sweet, strong and spicy mess, like one of those Chinese dishes that would be totally edible if they weren’t so sweet, sour, salty, hot and simply too much of everything.

  42. :

Decadent yet disconcerting, like having dessert cocktails at a mortuary.
Chocolate vodka and a shot of caramel liqueur in the coffee afterward, but in the basement is sandalwood coffin sawdust, candle wax and dried flower petals.
    Seductive, androgynous, macabre and delicious.

    This is absolutely sensational.
To me it is dark, but sweet; nothing sinister but retains some mystery – it is definitely niche, but is accessible.
From the first spray, I get this strong earthy/soil hit for just a moment and then it is overtaken by a shot of smoke and wood, revealing a deep, rich, cream-based liqueur note.
Once this fragrance settles, it hovers like a beautiful, fresh gourmand – still reminiscent of the creamy liqueur, smoke and wood.
This is a sophisticated, sensual scent. It is very rare that I love a scent from first hit to dry down. Also this lasts for ages and ages on skin / hair right through to the next day.
The only issue I take, is the cost of this fragrance. Yes the fragrance is special, but, for just 50ml you pay an arm and a leg. This fragrance has been extravagantly priced – I think I would have felt slightly (only slightly) better, if for the price I paid, I got a 100ml bottle.

On me, Black Phantom is BEAutiFUL! I remember someone saying that it is similar to Tokyo Milk, but I would say not. The Cacao in Tokyo mild smells fake. In PHANTOM, it contributes to a beautiful amalgamation of woody, coffee, and praline that mshilov mentions earlier. What is really wonderful is that wood part of the scent does not assault a person, but rather gives a light support to the already delicious part of the scent. On me, the scent offers a light powder, but not in the traditional way. It is more of a mystery. Not a dark and scary mystery as the name might suggest, but of a ghostly type… a phantom-a wisp of smoke that one sees out of the corner of the eye. I have a sample of this that I sprayed on me, and my husband who never compliments me on my high end perfume scents asked ‘What is that beautiful sexy perfume that you have on? I’ve never smelled that before…it is absolutely sexy!” In return, I said ” you can get this for me if you want to…” He said” I WILL!!! I want to smell it forever!) While I won’t be getting the full blown version with the skull on it, I’ll be getting the refill version of it….. costs less, but same amount of the juice. You’ll just need to buy a spray bottle or roll-on somewhere to be able to dispense the spray. If you are in Columbus Ohio, there is a SAKS at the Polaris Mall. There is a guy named Patrick Vincent who will both educate you and give you the tour of the beautiful scents so that you can know what you want. He doesn’t push, he just shares his love of perfume and he desires to really help you out. I have several Kilian’s now. Back to Black, Love, Sweet Redemption, Moonlight in Heaven, and of course will be getting Phantom.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

I have to say I was completely blown away by this perfume and trying it several times makes me arrive at the same conclusion….Black Phantom is great. I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s a triumph or anything too gushy but what I like is that BP marries some good concepts in what could’ve been another massively over priced damp squib, like many others from Kilian. The thing is when he hits… he hits and the creativity in this one is akin to the ones I enjoy like Straight to heaven, Apple brandy, Back to Black (I don’t like but I appreciate the originality) Incense Oud etc…
The opening is immediately gourmand, gorgeously cocoa like, warm, sweet but also bitter, it’s well balanced. Then there’s a woody vetiver type vibe, smoky, evoking the colour grey and a charcoal like texture. The alcohol edge which is a By Kilian signature is definitely there and next to make an appearance before drying down to a sugary, coffee infused caramel and tonka a bit like tia maria or kahlua. The dirty vanilla drydown is soft but lasted very well on my skin in fairness.
Okay so I don’t know how much this perfume costs but I have bought Kilian’s before and they ain’t cheap. This is mainly due to the packaging and this one has a fancy box, so I’m thinking a lot. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt on the name and the perceived ‘Darkness’ which I actually thinks comes from the smoky wood and the rum element rather than the chocolate. I suppose chocolate can be dark as well so hey?
What I like about Black Phantom is that it could so easily have been another boring gourmand, jumping on the Feve delicuese hype but what this and the Dior have in common is that you (or at least I) could smell the quality. You can smell literally smell the money. As much as I love Mugler AMen Tonka and can see the similarities this is a league up in terms of quality and for the money so it should be. I’m not talking strength or longevity here or snobbery just that Je ne sais quoi. This perfume has distinct phases too, the opening the heart and the drydown and I thought progressed well through each one. I enjoyed it but I’m not looking to add it to my wardrobe.

  48. :

IF You want to smell like a bottle of kahlua, get this. If not, don’t.

  49. :

Sweet, slightly powdery chocolate and coffee scent. Less syrupy and saccharine than a Rochas Man or New Haarlem. In that vein, though, but more mature than those. The first thing it reminded me of was Valentino Uomo/Dior Homme. It’s not as powdery or lipsticky. Great cold weather date night scent.
Above average longevity on my skin with moderate projection.
An 8.0/10 for me. Super expensive and I’m glad to only have a decant. I wouldn’t need a whole bottle owning so many in the same genre. I really like it, though.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

I wore this to work today. I LOVE the top and middle notes. However, in the dry down, I was getting wafts of Valentino Uomo Intense. I have to be honest, it was a bit off-putting. If I’m spending $290 on 50 ML of fragrance, I want it to be original and special.
    Further testing required.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

Black Phantom opened with a blast of amber, then immediately the rum came to the fore. The drydown settled into a mix of the gourmand notes and gentle woods that reminded me of a softer Tom Ford Noir Extreme. The chocolate note remains to greet you the next morning. Dries down to something subtle, that’s the phantom part, which I think is far more classy and attractive than “beast mode” any day. Black Phantom is sexy, cozy, delicious, unisex, and will become a classic in its own time.

  52. :

A true stunner. The name and aesthetic of the presentation are spot on with the scent. Very dark and mysterious. Kilian can sure tell a story with his scents and this might be his best yet. Dark, rich, and sweet. Love at first sniff.

  53. :

    3 out of 5

I have a thing for the chocolatey/vanilla/gourmandy scents, but this is nothing like any of the ones I’ve tried or have in my perfume stable. On application it’s difficult to pick any one note out, however, after around 20 minutes the individual notes start to peek out, if somewhat timidly – almond, coffee, sandalwood. After an hour or so, the chocolate started to appear, but very faintly, and I got a faint, toasty, biscuity type smell, and spice. There’s also a faint dusty note too, not sure why. A few people have posted here that they smell vetiver in this, and to (or perhaps I should say ‘on’?) me that often smells dusty. This is my first go of a Kilian scent, and I was excited to try it. I like it, a lot. It’s one of those scents that you think has disappeared, but then you get lovely, albeit very faint, wafts of it. It seems to be more of a skin scent though. The staying power is astonishing – I got a good 10 hours out of this. Considering the price though (eye-watering) I’d want a lot more oomph – all of those notes should be delicious, but they’re all so faint that I have to hold my wrist up to my nose to get anything. To be fair, it could just be my skin chemistry. And what there is, is lovely, but for the same money you could easily pick up (as I already had) at least two oriental vanilla/chocolate scents, with similar notes, with way better projection. Unless you have boatloads of cash burning a hole in your pocket, definitely try before you buy.

Reminds me of buttery caramel corn

I love the bottle so much I tried to love this fragrance but to no avail. I love gourmands but to me this smelled like a concoction of stale black coffee and halloween candy. I also get peanut butter?

The concept of this fragrance (chocolate, coffee, rum, other gourmands) isn’t groundbreaking, but its execution is. This is one of the few chocolate/coffee pure gourmand fragrances that doesn’t make me gag!
Most chocolates are overly waxy and artificial, like the chocolate that’s found in children’s cereal with high fructose corn syrup. But the bitterness in this fragrance (likely from the burst of rum and liquor at the beginning) offsets any waxy plastic notes chocolate accords can have.
Aside from not making me gag, this fragrance is simply beautiful. It isn’t chocolate in a childish or toddler way, but rather, in a very sophisticated way. Think of a man in a suit or elegant woman with dark hair in a red velvet dress, sipping an cooling concoction of iced rum, irish cream, chocolate liquor, and brown sugar.
This is the fragrance I go for when I want a pure gourmand. I do like Thierry Mugler’s Angel (another beautiful but controversial gourmand) but its patchouli can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. So this is perfect for a less overwhelming gourmand without any other distracting notes. No patchouli, no musk, just pure patisserie goodness.
Try this on. Let it envelope you like a “phantom.” It’s scent comes and goes, and just when you think its presence on your skin has ended, you’ll be surprised by a sudden whiff of dark chocolate or java chip.

Yes, it does smell like the Zara frag, they are not 100% spot on doppelganger identical but are sure close enough to not warrant paying the additional £200+ for a bottle. Unless you are desperate for the skull case?
If this type of frag floats your boat go for the Zara and use the saved $$$s to buy other frags for your collection.

A straight ripoff of A-Men except WAY weaker. I can’t even believe this was released. Kilian should be ashamed.

Only for gourmand lovers. I hoped coffee note, rum, sandalwood and heliotrope would have created something original, but no.
And really overpriced. Also, nothiing relates the fragrance with the concept IMHO
It makes me thinking of a pastry shop with a coffee-corner, I would never like to smell like a LindorCoffee or Pocket Coffee; nothing dark nor gothi here..

Tokyo milk – bittersweet smells very similar to this but without the bitter rum note. BP is really gourmand and I’m not sure if the bitter note is only present on my skin or if that’s just how the fragrance is, without that bitterness I think this fragrance would be really nice. It becomes a skin scent pretty quickly and doesn’t have a lot of projection either. Unique Box presentation tho.

Black Phantom opens with a pungent rum odour. It is like the rum hits you in the head. Then, after a few minutes, the rum disappears and coffee and chocolate enter the scene. They have now the primary role, they are the divas of the show.
I expected a loud fragrance, but no, it’s more like a skin one. This mixture, of chocolate-coffee, a beautiful odour, stays on the skin for a few hours. Who does not love chocolate? Such a familiar and lovely scent, full of joy and happiness. I thought it would be a dark scent, you know ˮmemento mori” – kind of, but it’s a sweet scent softened in chocolate.
The dry down is chocolate with a trace of almonds. A rich, ˈeatableי fragrance which takes you to the brown colour. Only the colour in my mind is dark because the scent is light.
If you like rich smell of chocolate with coffee in it, you should try Black Phantom without fear.

GORGEOUS!! No peanut butter or vetiver here, thank GOD! (There’s nothing wrong with vetiver, I just don’t think I want to smell it in this particular concoction.) I get loads of smooth, melty caramel, hints of dark chocolate, and black velvety coffee. Heliotrope is mentioned in the descriptio
