The scent is nice, like a fougere with perhaps a mandarin in the top note….yellow? A very nice fragrance though I didn’t get to try it on my skin. The people behind the perfumes are very customer oriented as well as, eco conscious. The containers, though I don’t have one yet, look beautiful.

Aspens is like a forest in a small wooden case, nature in a small wooden case.
It is amazing and natural, like a full forest, with it’s soil, it’s plants, with a bit of that humid lovely air after a bit of rain, that I love. When I smell it I feel like I am in a tranquil forest,it’s such a calming, and relaxing scent. It is mainly a beautiful Woodsy scent with floral facets and mossy facets.
Solid perfumes usually lack in sillage, but not Aspens, it stays close to the skin, but you do not have to strongly inhale to catch a whiff of the scent, it is like a faithful companion, when you sniff your arm is there just waiting to comfort you and make your day better. Personally I think that for a solid perfume it has a great sillage and a great lasting power.
The packaging is amazing, the wooden box is just so cute and so beautifully crafted and the name is so carefully carved on the lid.
Natural jewel I would say, Aspens is indeed “Parfum De Terre”. If you enjoy Woodsy perfumes try Aspens, it is natural, it is Woodsy and it is Unique!
