I love this, its BRIGHT NEROLI with Strength, and a Woodier base
    8/10- A LOVE for me
    Great Spring Scent

It starts well, with citrus fruits quite well achieved, but this effect fades in less than 10 minutes.
The drying is more sweet and soapy, like the shampoo of these big supermarkets, quite synthetic and what is often called “generic”. It dries down smelling pretty cheap.
The sillage is always poor, with a simply decent longevity.
In short, there are worse, but it has been another disappointment

It smells like household chemical at first, then car freshener, then the dry down which is the brilliant part. To me it’s rather unique. I mean, how many people would spray household chemical to their bodies? Thats the distinguishing factor. It’s stinging but sophisticated, citrusy but not generic. I particularly love the drydown.
I had about 4hrs longevity. Wish it were more…

The worst and cheapest opening.., but in an hour everything changes . The real scent comes out . all in all 7/10

I purchased a 5ml decant of this scent for my boyfriend and he’s worn it all summer long.. I must say it smells divine on him. Probably purchasing as a gift for the holidays this year 🙂
It smells clean and crisp but not overpoweringly so, the herbal quality of this is incredible. About 5 hours later it turns into a spicy skin scent. It’s fresh and understated which is what I like best about it.

It smells like fruit loops lol. That’s the best way to explain it.
The opening is FRUIT LOOPS CEREAL is exactly what it smells like!
    Just compared them lol.
It’s ok but whoever said it lasts a long time doesn’t know what the hell theyre talking about.
On clothes it does but not on the skin. Definitely the best performing Varvatos I’ve had I guess but still ain’t that great.
Jeremy Fragrance guy doesn’t know everything let’s just put it that way.
That guys so technical about fragrances that he doesn’t stop to smell the roses and think normally about them.

Borders on feminine as the top note is very white-floral. Fresh but also very weak.

Smells like bar soap at your favorite hotel from beginning to end. do I like it? Yes, do I love it? No. It smells good and unique. I would wear it here and there but I’m not sure I’d wear it all that often. The citrus is sharp in this.

This was my Summer ’18 darling. I fell in love with it in the spring time and paid full retail. The citrus here is so sharp and real. Very unique and masculine compared to TF versions, which I don’t find similar. Anyway, I recently decided to let it go and sold it to a friend. The scent was amazing when confined to an indoor space, but I already have frags for that. I wanted Artisan pure to be my outdoor/pool/BBQ type of fragrance, and it just never delivered in those situations. It could not stand up to the elements and I became increasingly frustrated with it. So in short, perfect for the office, but fails in the outdoors/active situations. I may purchase again when it hits the discounters like all the other artisans.

Artisan Pure, the prodigy child of the Varvatos family, they say. The brilliant kid who puts all of his siblings to shame. Well almost, needless to say, it got a prize for best bottle. So it’s not only brilliant, it’s beautiful.
This is probably one of my whitest, brightest, well, purest scent in my collection. It holds up to the name.
You will get petitgrain, orange, clementine, they all shine beautifully. There’s also a good deal of lemon too so it will get quickly to your head. Some people might find it a bit too sharp. I find it like a laser, right on point.
Also, I get the perfect notes of thyme and marjoram. Good herbs for cooking, good herbs to sport too apparently. It gives that greenish feel to the mix. It’s definitly not a blue scent, but not a green one either. It’s a white scent, simple as that.
The formula of this perfume shines in it’s little details, there was attention put into it.
Longevity is good enough for a work day. But expect a skin scent sooner or later depending on your type of skin. To me, it also projects pretty well. It gets noticed.
Somehow, this is a bold scent. It can be subtle and refined, but it shows it qualities very upfront, to the point some people might not like it. It’s sharp. It goes to the head but in such a good way.
Even if it’s already a cult classic, I recommend you try before you buy. Some people find it uninteresting too, but as far as it goes, it’s kind of a new experience for me everytime I wear it.
It’s summer time, it’s hot, don’t look further, you’ll stand out in the big heat.
This scent is, at least for me, unusually unique, considering it’s not a mix of notes we haven’t seen before. Good job mister Flores-Roux. This thing has character and charm. And the name says it all. PURE!
    Thanks for reading my review!

unique, niche quality, uplifting citrusy, but the perfomance and sillage is not good, not worth 89$ at all, I would consider buying full bottle it if it cost as much as bright neroli.

This is my first fragrance review on this website. To start, I have to say that this was a blind buy. When it arrived and I popped open the box and sprayed it initially, I immediately liked it. As I wore this throughout the week, I started to like it even more. Now I love it! I’ve also gotten numerous compliments from this fragrance. At least 6 within 4 day period.
In terms of use, I’d say this is perfect for Spring/Summer/Fall for the day time. You can get away with wearing this in the winter, too! I had walked inside a freezer and happen to catch a whiff of it as I was working. And all I can say is that I was surprised at how well the mix between the chill of the air & the scent worked together. Though, you will take a hit with the silage & longevity.
I usually spray about 4 to 5 times and it will last me throughout most of the day. It projects strongly within the first hour & half and then sits closer to your skin, but still leaving a nice scent bubble around you for at least 3 more hours.
Besides the strong citrus opening, this fragrance smell does not change much. So what you smell after the initial opening within half an hour, will still smell as strong as it did on your skin as when you first sprayed it on. Overall, about 6 to 8 hours for longevity before it sits close to skin & isn’t as strong anymore.
The overall design of the bottle & fragrance reminds me of a hot summer day, laying on a beach chair in front of a beach house in the Caribbean with the beach all to yourself and your significant other.
    Rating:
    Design is an 8.5/10.
    Longevity is a solid 8/10.
    Silage is an 7.5/10.
    Scent is a solid 9/10.
    Versatility is a 8.5/10.
Compliment factor is a solid 8/10
I would definitely recommend getting this! Worth the price. I’d try this out ASAP. Pickup a decant if you can. Or blind buy it!

4711??? No way…yeaapp it does have neroli…but its not like 4711 or bright neroli or neroli portofino…take the neroli from any of those mentions…citrus from ck all..crafted woody vibe from the original artisan… and green/herbs from Lacoste green or essential….yeapp its kinda that versatile…a great one indeed 🙂

  16. :

A well blended Citrus with a note similar to Vetiver dry down. Which remind me of the Cartier Declaration line, specifically L’Eau opening and Original heart. Lasting power is my major complain, 6 hours on clothes, then its gone.
Scent is nice, i commit to a bottle now.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

One of my favorite clean smelling scents. In my opinion, not very similar to 4711 and Bright Neroli. If u own those, this won’t be redundant. Longevity is moderate and better than Original Artisan which is also one of my favorite fresh smells in my collection. With discount pricing online these are blind buy worthy. Spray away and feel good

  18. :

    4 out of 5

I agree with the previous reviewer that it smells like 4711, and not as much as my favorite neroli fragrance of all time Acqua di Parma Essenza. There is a petitgrain note that I don’t care for which brings the fragrance from being superior to just good to very good. It has a woody drydown, and the same drydown scent of the wood note used in Dior Homme Sport.
I’m a big Varvatos fan, and did reviews on the 4 bottles that I own. There is something pure in Varvatos scents, and this scent is as pure as the others, but I’d rate the other Varvatos fragrances as the best of the best (9 or 10). I’d give this fragrance an 8. The original Artisan in the flask is liked by everyone, and is probably the most versatile of the line. Try that first.

John Varvatos Artisan Pure is a delightful citrus fragrance that is perfect for the spring and summer. And while it may not be the best fragrance ever made, no one will dislike this fragrance. It is well constructed and contains high-quality ingredients and is full-bottle worthy.
Artisan Pure, however, suffers from the same performance issues that plaque most warm weather offerings. Longevity is no more than about 3-4 hours; sillage and projection are only light to moderate.
    Smell 9/10
    Longevity 5/10
    Projection 5/10

This one is actually really nice, mostly because it smells almost exactly like the original Declaration when it comes out of the bottle. Upon first spray, they would be difficult to differentiate. What I’ve always had an issue with is JV’s inability to make his really great scents last longer than an hour or so, and this one is no exception. After the top notes fade, there is virtually nothing left, and after a couple hours it’s completely undetectable.

  21. :

Anyone else think this scent smells a little like Xerjoff nio? It reminds me of Neroli portofino and Xerjoff nio as well as dior cologne

  22. :

You have to have 10 minutes of patience with Artisan Pure, because after 10 min is when this fragrance really shines. If you spray this for the first time you’ll get this blast of very sour citrus in your face and that might put a lot of people off. The first 10 minutes is very citrusy and not like a sweet orange citrus smell, but rather really sour. Past 10 minutes on my skin is when that sour citrus starts to fade and suddenly becomes sweet orange. I see some negative comments regarding the sour citrus, that’s because just like my first time trying it I got slapped with that sour citrus which put me off and then I moved on to different fragrances to try and ended getting Coach for Men that day.
Artisan Pure keeps on getting high remarks from YouTubers, so I decided to comeback one week after trying it for the first tims. This time though I waited while talking to the sales person and I took a little stroll around the perfume section of the mall looking at other brands, but not smelling anything else because I wanted my nose to concentrate on AP. Then after 10 min to my surprise it started to smell sweet orange and neroli.
I also started to smell the amber and musk mixed beautifully with sweet orange and wood. I then decided to buy this.
The sillage is moderate and the time it stayed on my skin for about 6 hours, which I consider great because summer fragrances don’t really last too long here in tropics, then it becomes a skin scent. This is really a great buy for summer and I can wear this all year round because I live in a country that has 7,107 islands with a tropical weather called the Philippines.

It took me 3 times (separate occasions) to smell this fragrance on the shop before finally pull the trigger and i’m not regret it. The initial impression is not to good, a bit harsh and sharp but after 15min this fragrance become so pleasing…love it love it love it.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

Thanks to popular Youtubers, this fragrance is quite hyped. However upon finally getting a bottle myself I was underwhelmed. By itself, Artisan Pure is a harsh and bitter citrus/herbal synth bomb. Visions of household cleaners flooded my mind when spaying it, and I could not get past that aspect.
That is until I figured out where this fragrance shines… Layering.
No doubt this stuff is absolutely loaded with Ambroxen and probably Iso E Super, so when layering or mixing with other fragrances, its smell completely disappears and reinforces whatever you spray it over with utmost vigor. It actually excels quite impressively in this regard, as with the dozen or more fragrances I have mixed/layered it with, it boosts longevity, projection and sillage of the base fragrance and alters it in a way which gives a slightly new unique smell as a result.
There is no denying that Artisan Pure is a fixative-based fragrance. If you enjoy it by itself, more power to you. In fact I also enjoy using fixative-based fragrances as my only scent quite often (such as Molecule 01/02). But the true power of these scents lies in layering, as they reinforce and strengthen whatever you spray them with.
I would highly suggest you layer Artisan Pure with any of your favorite fresh/aquatic/citrus scents to give them a serious boost in performance with an added edge of uniqueness. And be amazed when the scent profile of AP completely disappears and adapts to whatever you spray it over.

    I have bought right now.
FI: not bad but no where near generic kind of citrus.
definitely niche quality and it has luxurious vibe!

Big JV fan here and reading the press releases of Artisan Pure I was extremely excited to try it. Inspired by coffee and citrus farms in Mexico. Sadly, this one is a no bueno for me. The strong petigran note is nauseating to me. There’s an almost gourmand quality to the loud herbal components here. The only JV scent so far that I don’t care for.

  29. :

    4 out of 5

Some great reviews here… I’m only stoping by to say one thing: I really wish for an EDP version! For me, this is a just a fantastic scent- nothing challenging enough to turn people off yet interesting enough to hold the attention of a frag nerd. Up the concentration level and I’ll gladly fork out the bucks!

    By honestly
I didn’t come here to discredit JV and I’m not a hater of this brand, by honestly this JV Artisan Pure is the way too flat and average fragrance, only one good thing is performance that acceptable. On the market right now we have a lot of citrusy fragrance that’s better and more depth than this, Allure Homme Sport or even Eau Extreme( more pleased and more alluring citrus), Allure Homme Edition Blance, Unforgivable (heavenly citrusy and boozy yet sexiness), Aqva Amara (bitter orange and super longevity) or even Davidoff Cool Water( weak performance but more complex than this) , but Artisan Pure is just Lemon and Ginger scent! I can’t even get any musky from it!?! When first try of Artisan Pure it reminded me a kind of drinking soda in Asia we called “Ginger Lime Soda” 🙁
Scent 6.5/10 (not bad but nothing interesting)
    Silage 7/10 (arm length)
Longevity 8.5/10 ( better than average citrusy frag )
Packaging 100/10 ( Artistic design, thumb ups! Only one good reason to pay for)
It is okay to drink Ginger Lime Soda but I don’t want to smell like it.

I used to think and still kind of see this as a sweet, slightly resinous and tamed version of terre de hermes .
That being said it is more mass appealing and is getting people to be a little more adventurous and widen their love for fragrances, which i love.
I have terre d’hermes tres fraiche, which projects better, smells better, is more elegant, and smells of higher quality to my nose.
Overall this is a great casual summer scent, even if I think it smells like sprite from time to time.
Get your nose on it and try it out !

I like this smell it feels fresh clean like happy feet the movie..I was on the subway going uptown and these females ask me what was I wearing and I told them she said girl I need to write that down..lol

  33. :

    5 out of 5

I think I had too high of expectations with this one, but I do like it! Probably because this was hyped as JV’s best in terms of longevity and overall performance. I find this one to be the same as the others in the artisan line: moderate longevity and soft-moderate projection, which is fine with me.
In terms of smell- I get a very distinct creed green Irish tweed/cool water vibe in the opening but it only lasts for a few minutes. The rest of it’s duration is fruit loop(y) sort of like Acqua di Parma Essenza; that classic citrus clean smell. I can also see the comparison to Neroli Portofino.
I’ll wear this quite a bit this summer
    7.5/10

  34. :

    4 out of 5

Yup, that’s exactly what I get… the WHOLE citrus tree. I get a lot of the fruit and leaves. This fragrance is interesting to me because neroli and orange blossom in fragrances make me gag (I mean absolutely revolting), yet I love the real thing. However, this is the only fragrance that smells like it has orange blossom that I can not only stomach but actually love.
I get moderate sillage and only medium longevity, which is lower than I desire. However, I am contemplating using Molecule 01 to enhance longevity. Overall, really good. It’s a solid “love” from a neroli and orange blossom hater.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

I like this one! I agree with whoever said it’s like a citrus tree, including the earth and roots. First spray is a tad strong but it settles nicely. I don’t get wood at all, idk where thats coming from, I get more earthy/herbal if anything. Don’t get the old man smell either. It lasts longer than other frags and I’d say it’s above average… Never had any other John Varvatos frags but this lasts and has a decent projection. I live in Cocoa Beach Florida and this fits our hot humid weather well, I’ll be buying a bottle soon for sure. 8/10 in my book.

Mmmh, bof…… Smell old school EDC nothing else.i tested this Yesterday and my girfriend Say this smell like his grandpa… If you like it, there are Many cheap alternatives ( 4711, bright néroli..)
    Not for me

I wore this today to my cousins babyshower. Turned heads as they smelled the freshness, I was proud. I have the original artisan , and i like it but just like this one it’s too airy and light. You know it very light and airy when someone asks you what was that cologne you had on. I need this to be the same just a little heavier to have much better sillage and longevity. Other than that this too is a winner!

  38. :

I tested this perfume at 2 different occations after going through a lot of positive reviews. I got a negative reaction from the overwhelming citrus notes the first time I tested it and thought that this was not for me. However, a bunch of more reviews came out and had such a positive attitude towards it that I had to try it again. I sprayed it on each wrist and one on the neck. When my girlfriend smelled it, it was the worst reaction one could have. To describe the smell – it is actually not far from what a toilet cleaner with citrus notes smells like, which is what I think of whenever I smell this fragrance. The fragrance does not change overtime and have decent performance (about 5 hours). I would defenetly not blind buy this fragrance, test it and judge it in person.

  39. :

Best $35 you will ever spend on spring/summer scent that actually lasts with very solid projection. It simply smells fresh and uplifting, just like the bottle it portrays. Imagine being at the beach relaxing on a hammock under the shade with the cool breeze from the ocean hitting your face.
Easily cracked the top 10 in my collection. Well done JV!
    9.5/10

After reading all the bad reviews regarding performance.. I find this to be a good performer for the type of fragrance it is and price point at discounters.. 5-6 hours for a fresh citrus is fine by me especially when it smells so good.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

A delicious scent that I desperately tried to make perform with no success. It disappears in no time even by spraying on the naked chest and then on the shirt, which is the way I manage to get pleasant scent waves for hours from every perfume.
Such a shame, this amazing scent deserves to be smelled, but I’m not sure I will buy a full bottle as I’ll probably prefer to find a similar one that would last and project.
    10/10 to the scent
    0/10 to the performance
    A shamefully missed occasion.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

Totally agree with the review below…this smells amazing but bloody hell so soft and does not last long at all unfortunately. Bloody pissed at that as I find the scent so alluring and refreshing.
    Scent 8/10
    Sillage 4/10
    Longevity 5/10

  43. :

    3 out of 5

John Varvatos you make excellent smelling scents very alluring, one of the best in the business but c’mon add some concentration % oils in your fragrances to have at least some kind of worth while projection and longevity I know your perfumes are not that expensive but I’m sure it would not bother people to pay a little bit more for better overall performance please and I will be the first one in line to buy.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

The opening of this is very addictive.. its very close match to TF Neroli Portofino..shame it drays down so quick.. still like it but it becomes more aquatic and less citrusy..don’t last on me very long 4-5h but my skin will not hold perfumes very long as its dry..it lasts on my clothes for good 6-7h..will definitely get a bottle of it.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

If there was an Intense or EDP that offered better longevity and projection, this would become a Summer fragrance legend. But in its current form, the longevity is very poor and thus, 6+ sprays is needed to get some enjoyment for 2-3 hours. It’s a shame because it’s an addictive scent that is clean, fresh, and surprisingly natural smelling. Reminds me of being on a sugar white Cuba beach sipping on a famous Monjito drink while watching the sunset over the ocean’s horizon. Ah yes, that’s Artisan Varvatos with its citrusy, fresh air vibe. If only it lasted longer.

  46. :

For all the hype that was centered around this fragrance I was beside myself to find it at the local mall and was given a sample… I’ve been testing this summer scent for a few days now trying to see what all the excitement was about. Yes, its fresh with its citric white floral and petitgrain vibe… the ginger is sweet and nice… I just can’t see buying this fragrance! It really sits close to the skin! The scent is beautiful once it is sprayed and I have to spray it on heavy to get any longevity at all! Maybe this fragrance in perfume concentration would be the ticket. If you like an airy scent for summer it might be for you… I just cannot get any performance what so ever from this Varvatos fragrance. Spray it an just in minutes it’s gone… but really is there any JV scent that lasts but a few hours. They smell… just out of this world off the top notes and then the dry down starts and always disappoint!
I don’t mean to be so negative, but for $89 retail I just cannot justify…

  48. :

This has a very nice and pleasant smell which is built on orange-citrus notes. Very crisp and exuberant but at the same time refined. I tried it on my skin and really liked it, the only problem is the strength. After a couple of hours, I could barely smell anything.
I see people here voted that it is similar to Neroli Portofino Forte. In my opinion, this is more like a modern and polished version of Hermes Eau D’orange Verte. I love that Hermes creation, hence I enjoyed this one too. Alas, it is weak and didn’t stay on my skin.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Based on the youtube reviews I blind buy this scent to replace my old Dior Homme Cologne from 2013. I didn’t smelled before this fragrance, but I’ve tried JV Artisan Blue- seemed ok. For the priced I bought a 75ml bottle.
The opening is very beautiful. Bright neroli and citrus, very fresh and clean. The middle notes are similar to the others from Artisan collection. The dissapointment comes after 2 hours. It is so volatile that you cannot tell if you sprayed something on your skin or your clothes, just like an Avon or Oriflame fragrance.
There are no similarities between Dior Homme Cologne and Artisan Pure, especially in longevity. I could say John Varvatos smells nicer more mature, cleaner, softer. Dior is simpler just two ingredients(citrus and musk).
The bottle is super sexy with its rattan coverage.
But, unfortunately the longevity is poor. Sorry John Varvatos, very dissapointed.

Got a sample from a local department store a couple of weeks ago and been trying it since. The scent is really growing on me as the day goes on. Longevity is really good, 6 hours to me at least. This is definitely a next buy for me. My next summer scent.

A pretty good release IMO but surely not blind buy worthy.
I blind bought this fragrance but didn’t like the opening. To some on the opening it might smell a little harsh/lemon pledge like which I get but let this settle down a bit and it turns into a nice woody kinda herbal scent with very little sweetness lurking in the background. On the further dry down it smells a little spicy pepper like.
    Overall a good scent: 3.5/5
The performance isn’t as good as it is hyped.I get about 5-5.5 hours on my skin and lesser on clothes.
    Performance: 3/5
Projection: 2.5/5 sits closer to the skin after an hour.

This is very pleasant, potent, and fresh smelling upon first spray. I was in love UNTIL I got this really nauseating peppery drydown. Anyone else picking up the strong pepper accord? Smells almost like I rubbed some McCormick burger seasoning on my skin.

    Artisan Pure
I really enjoy this scent! It opens up with a bright neroli/citrus punch and the dry down is simply gorgeous and reminds me of a sweet/fresh citrus based alcoholic beverage. Almost effervescent.
The longevity is good, I got about 6-8 hours with solid projection for about 4 hours.
This fragrance works great in warmer climates
    Overall I rate this one a 8.5/10

Just received this in the mail as an early birthday present and I LOVE IT. I agree with iamlost4815 who said this smells like a lemon tree. That’s EXACTLY what it reminds me of. In fact, as it progresses from top notes to base notes it’s like you’re standing 50 feet away from a lemon tree and slowly walking toward it. You smell the lemony breeze in the air and as you get closer you can smell the fruits themselves, the peel, hints of the leaves and the branches, and even a bit of the earth the tree is planted in. So yeah, it’s exactly like that. Amazing stuff. There are hundreds of citrus fragrances out there and very seldom do I find one that really stands apart for me. This is one of those 🙂

I’m confused as to how people can like this scent as it’s disgusting on my skin. This smells like a strong lemon pledge with a sharp pepper and herbaceous note that’s extremely off putting.
I sprayed this and my gf came home from work 15 minutes later and as soon as she came in she immediately asked if I could take a shower because the cologne I sprayed was giving her a headache. Not a good first impression to say the least !!! The sample went in the trash right away following that.
By far the worst scent from JV !!! Actually this is the only negative review I’ve ever given a JV scent.
On the flip side this did have some very good projection

Very nice change from the usual Varvatos fragrances. The first 30-45 minutes is a strong scent of neroli and citrus, which is awesome, but the magic comes just after that. The drydown is fantastic! This will last a solid 6-7 hours, but I can still smell it on my shirt 12 hours later. Projection about an arms length away for the first 1-2 hours, then becomes a fresh and masculine scent bubble. People will smell you! It leaves a nice sexy, peppery/citrus fresh scent trail.
Can be worn anytime, anywhere. It reminds me of a white tshirt and jeans kinda scent. It really is very nice and unique. A great addition to the Varvatos line. I’m happy to have this in my collection.
    Projection 8/10
    Scent 9.5/10
    Sillage 7/10
    Longevity 8.5/10

Nice fragrance, reminds me of some other scents.. Has that lemon wipe smell i have smelled in some other frags, maybe like dior cologne… It smells like bright neroli, and xerjoff neo.. Overall it is a fresh/soapy/neroli/lemon scent.. The lemon is a bit synthetic and lemon pledge like, but its still a good fragrance overall.. it dries down and you started getting more woods and it gets more masculine.
    Scent 4/5
    Performance 4/5

This is a neroli based scent. The notes don’t mention it but its the predominant note in my opinion. If your like me and neroli reminds you of baby fragrances then you won’t like this. This smells just meh to me. It doesn’t evolve much but it does have decent projection and longevity (6+ hours). Honestly only get this if you have other fragrances in your collection. DO NOT BLIND BUY THIS.

This stuff smells fantastic. It reminds me of a lot of other scents, since it clearly takes inspiration from some classic EdCs like 4711 (or much older takes on the formula), but it’s got a couple unique notes that give it a different twist. It opens as a predominantly mandarin and lemon scent with woody notes. I get some neroli too but strangely it isn’t listed in the notes. There is no sharpness from the citrus, even at the top, as it is immediately rounded off by what I think must be the orris root, lending it a powdery earthiness. The marjoram comes in soon after with a barely-noticeable cooling camphorous effect. It dries down rather fast into something resembling a pleasant, high end, powdery soap with the mandarin note lasting along with it, while most of the other notes fade. It remains like this for the duration, which was around 5-6 hours on me – a step up from JV’s trademark poor longevity associated with their fresh scents

My nose must be broken because I only smell lemon/neroli/citrus
    And it smells quite feminine
But This is 15 min in
I’ll let this develop and edit my review later

    My view:
Most colognes leave me unimpressed, but Varvatos Artisan Pure is excellent. I’m as impressed as I am surprised.
To me, the best thing about this is its stand-out uniqueness. It just doesn’t smell quite like anything else out there that I kno
