Armani Codewill be released in 2018 in the new limited edition Armani Code A-List. The new fragrance is conceived as an elegant and sophisticated creation that goes with tuxedo.
“Code A-List is a perfume infused with the seductive notes of the first iconic Armani Code aftershave, yet has been distilled further into a rare blend. Magnifying ingredients, bergamot and green mandarin blend with the smoky tones of Gaïac wood. A tension has been created between lavandin grosso heart and the intensity of Tonka bean. Due to a unique way of extracting, the lavandin grosso heart brings luminosity, opening doors to the exclusive world of Code A-List.”
Armani Code A-List is available as a 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette.

Only one spray on my hand and this is my impression:
A soft, easy to wear version of Code. It does have the Code DNA. I found this very pleasant. Slightly powdery and non-offensive, but still smelled great. Performance is average. In my fragrance journey I’ve come to appreciate these types of scents. They stay close to the skin but smell very good. There’s nothing screechy or offensive about it, but the actual smell is interesting and good.

Fully agree raiza1990 it is sophisticated and at the same time fresh. Great for business environment – it will match great quality garments and freshly ironed shirt. It evokes a feelings of freshness with a nice sophisticated code DNA.
I do not understand the amount of disslikes. It is safe even for blind buy.

Very nice fragrance! I love this line, it is the best perfume serie for men.
A list has that distinctive code dna, but is fresher than the original. The lavender is clearly noticeable. I really like the way they combined darkness and freshness in this fragrance. It reminds me of Tom Ford’s perfumes.
It smells elegant, sensual and masculine. Would love to smell it on a man.
It is a shame that it is a limited edition, because it is really good.
I think, after the original, this is my favorite from this line.
Sillage is close to the skin, can’t talk about longevity yet.
Who is this for? A mature, elegant and mysterious man.

but not nearly as good, but it does

code due to the spicy note either,
what comes to mind is armani code

I just tried this today and didn’t like it. It’s very generic and I’m disappointed, as I like most of the other Armani Code releases for men (EDT, Profumo, even Colonia). This is really light and bland. I’ll pass. There is nothing sexy or sophisticated about this, it’s just boring.

I loved this scent. It pulled me in but! Of coarse a weak watered down rip-off. Another fraud bottle from this line. How anyone keeps buying these bottles amazes me. If this had good performance it would be my number one. Sad

Oh dear.
I found the opening to be poor, very generic messy and pretty pointless as yet another Code flanker. However, these thoughts did mellow as it settled down but that can be the case with so many bad fragrances. The main body is milky, minty, lavender, business but with a more heavy and sickly core of tonka bean. This dirtiness does subside and it becomes more of a softer vanilla but you have to live through what is not a unpleasant but has to be said, uninspiring fragrance in the meantime. The comparisons with le Male and Luna Rossa could be valid, but it’s certainly no Invasion Barbare or Reflection Man.
It’s okay I suppose.

Excited to sniff this one, still no sign of it in Central Europe where I live. Hopefully this will go a bit fougere way with lavender. The red ring on a black bottle? My heart just melted a bit… Will post my review and vote when I get a chance to sample it, then will delete this post myself – I just wanted to express some excitement.
As for people voting without sampling it… I’m sorry for you. I wish you never had to experience such a sad life you have. Must be really difficult having so many complexes.

Sounds interesting. Hopefully, tonka bean won’t be the main note. Seems like designers going to the more masculine old school route. First Alien men and now this .!!
