My husband’s everyday perfume. I dont know how it can lasts over 8 hours on him. I only can tell it smells just like my husband lol.

It reminds me a lot of an aftershave from Gillette, Wild Rain. Since it’s been discontinued over a decade ago nothing has come close as this for an affordable daily scent.

I notice a strong resemblance to L’Occitane Eau des Bavx. I like it a lot but the performance is marginal at best.
The scent is definitely woody and slightly sweet. Sweet creamy sandalwood throughout the life of the fragrance mixed with tonka to sweeten it up. The supporting notes are definitely hard to pick up and pretty far in the background. A great cheapie. The paint on the bottle starts to peel after a while though. It makes a mess.

    Great scent, bad performance.
I used 3 bottles in the past of Arber and it gives me barbershop vibes, manly, aftershave-like scent. I don’t get the fruity notes at all, but mostly the traditional man cologne scents. If there was a good performer of this scent, I would definetely get it and make it within my top 5.
I think it’s very good in the sandalwood to give the aftershave feeling, and at the same time warm and spicy enough with citrus crispiness. Deserves a big compliment on the created scent, but lacks performance so bottle goes ver quick.

Bought this as a generic cheapie that I would wear to the gym. Didnt know there would be a Watermelon note (i despise melon scents) in a woodsy fragrance.

Very, very heavy on the citrus. It’s an OK fresh scent to start the morning with, but nothing I would wear frequently or on a night out.
Generally lasts around 3-4 hours on me.

Smell pleasant enough but the performance is pretty abysmal. It’s gone after half hour which doesn’t warrant taking up space in my cupboard.
    Longevity 2/10
    Projection 4/10
    Smell 7/10

The name suggests woody (arbor?) but The Body Shop’s Arber is far more an odd connection of fruit, flowers, and woods than simply a woody scent. It still has a useful place in the current men’s selection since none of the other options are particularly woody, fruity, or flowery.
First off, it’s fair to regard this as more of an eau de cologne or body spray rather than a standard EDT–very light. Unsurprisingly, then, a lot of the magic happens in the initial spray and a lot of it disappears pretty quickly into the rapid dry down. Longevity is limited.
I’m not sure the note breakdown does this justice, as I have a bit of difficulty sorting out the notes amidst the generally synthetic, semi-deodorant smell.
On the whole, this smells like woods mixed with dried fruit and fresh fruit, including citrus and watermelon.
As a light semi-woody option, it has its usefulness in casual situations, likely year-round, but I wouldn’t dress it up, as it simply lacks a certain minimum sophistication that I’d want in a true night/date/formal scent. Still a great option for the price ($28 for 100ml though often on sale).

Not bad, for a body shop fragrance.
I hate the bottle design though, simply because of the plastic paint on it. These kinds of bottles have a habit of peeling/scratching if you take your perfumes around with you or if you handle them frequently.
The scent itself is very clean, warm and friendly.

It is a nice and pleasant perfume on its own for daily use at fall and winter days but generally speaking not something unique nor groundbreaking but on the other hand for its price tag it is a decent enough and way better than Activist for me that i find it too sweet. About sillage…when i think it is gone i get a whiffs of it in the air around me from time to time.
    Tip: performs better on clothes

This is a good smelling fragrance starts off strong and woody and dries down to be sweet but on my skin it has no lasting power. It’s a skin scent after an hour or less. Still in my opinion smells pretty good nothing special, although it is one of the very few fragrances I’ve gotten a compliment from.

For some reason, the more I smell this fragrance the more I like it. Granted, it is generic, rather linear and with little longevity, but it manages to perfectly balance the aquatic and fruity notes in the opening before melting away to something spicier in the heart and base, all the while without delving inside that sickly-sweet territory that’s taken over the men’s market (like Spicebomb and One Million).
I can’t really smell sandalwood all that strongly but it does have a crisp woody aspect that makes it suitable for work. 9/10

Pleasing when I want something that is lighter and won’t have great lasting power. It does smell nice, but it’s nothing special. It also rather clashes with their The Body Shop’s body butters. haha

Masculine, but nothing special about this fragrance.
First I wanted to say that I dislike this fragrance, but wore it one more time. beside generic smell of this fragrance, everything is good/decent. The scent is pleasant, specially in cooler weather. longevity is decent.

Smells like Calvin Klein’s Eternity For Men. I like it. Nice combination of citrus, light sweetness and woody freshness.

Used to buy this stuff for my ex husband. He quite liked it. It’s very masculine, heavy on the coriander but it’s toned down by sandalwood. Some aquatic accords from the watermelon. Kind of generic. Really only worth purchasing if you are a Body Shop fan (I used to shop there a ton) and you need to use up that $25 reward.

Nice, simple, bottom shelf cologne. Favorable to wear whenever as its very cost effective.

    Package:
Didn’t get it in a package at all just a flask.
    Flask:
Dark brown, toned flask. Looks clean, but very unorginal. The cap is weak, I think it’s some kind of enviroment friendly one. Overall it’s an okay flask.
    The scent:
Woodsy, spicy, sweet and fresh. Starts out with a more citrusy smell and dries down to a spicy/woody smell. It’s not that heavy though, but more on the fresh side.
The sillage is poor, as well as the projection.
The staying power isn’t that great either unfortunatley.
    My score:
    Scent: 6.8/10
    Longevity: 4/10
    Sillage/projection: 3/10

one of the phrases that you find in the Luca Turin book over and over is ‘screechy citrus’. he could have been thinking of Arber when he came up with that. Tried a little at the airport and went straight to the men’s room to wash it off. And then much later, I realize that the dry down is rather nice woody/spicy. But not nice enough to put up with the opening.

The opening is refreshing, light and crispy. But the problem is, this perfume lack of sillage. I would give 2.75 of 5 for this perfume

As a woman i can say: it’s my absolute favourite scent on my man. It’s motivating and refreshing and gives you a warm hug at the same time!! It’s really great…and EVERY woman who has smelled it on him, wants to know what it is!!

Not really sure what to make of it.
    Sweet
    Very slightly fruity, more sugary
    Woody enough
I can’t make out a single one of these notes.
I’m very surprised at how much I like it, though.
Seems either the longer it sits, or the more you sweat on it, the sweeter it becomes.
Seems to sweat away easily, BUT, the scent is sweated very well too, seems to improve the projection.
For $40 100ml, I think this will be my next buy, when I decide I need more :-/
I recommend open minded individuals getting bored of mainstream fragrances one disappointment after another. Also to nature lovers, as it actually smell crisp and green.

Very nice fragance, versatile and comfortable. A natural mix of aromatic herbs, a sexy touch of flowers and a manly combo of woods with some minimal fruity touch.

A very simple woody aromatic fragrance.
    Pleasant but not very unique.
