One almost wouldn’t believe that this is of the Aqua Allegoria line as this is a really beautiful natural jasmine, long lasting and a cloud of goodness surrounds you.
I personally cannot detect galbanum but I don’t trust my nose these days, just getting over a flu.
Longevity: whole work day, I kid you not.
And sillage is moderate to heavy.
And all this for an EDT, so hats off!
    Classy and natural.

I bought a huge bottle today…omg, this is the most realistic jasmine scent that I’ve ever tred. So gentle and charming, beautiful. Airy, lightly but has a normal sillage.

Is there anyone who can compare the scent of Jovans Night Blooming Jasmine to this ? I appreciate any input!
    Thank you!

I was very pleasantly surprised when i tried it for the first time. This has become my favorite jasmine scent because Jasminora is very natural perfume.Like i’m in the neat garden sitting on seat(reading a good book-e.g.) near to jasmine bush. It’s not overpowering,or heavy flowery scent but gentle and somehow clean.Beautifully works with skin.Like almost all Guerlain perfumes. And as my friend says;this is a good match with white wardrobe. It has moderate silage and lasting power.Jasmine lovers,do try it!

I have a crazy love for Guerlain fragrances which is something pleasantly addictive these days. Aqua Allegoria Jasminora is no exception as it is very fresh and quite strong considering it is an EDT. I got my bottle of this online for a deal. I am not so thrilled that it is discontinued seeing the three quarters full bottle I have won’t last very long. Well anyway, at first spritz it is strong of Bergamot, which is crisp and fresh, and Jasmine, which is very organic smelling. Freesia usually is kind of sharp and bitter on me but in this it is not so that is a plus. I catch some Lily of the Valley which is faint but pleasant. I also smell quite a bit of Musk and some Galbanum here but the Jasmine is the star from start to finish. I hope they bring this one back. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
    10/10

A lovely fresh, light, airy & transparent green floral…
I am a jasmine lover. I love jasmine in all forms and perfumes. So I had to try Jasminora from Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria line. Most people think the Aqua Allegoria fragrances lack lasting power etc. But I disagree. This is a beautiful, green, natural floral that has an indolic jasmine note which can be strong if over sprayed. It’s one that I enjoy very much, and it works wonderfully as a casual, happy type of fragrance.
What I get is fresh, green bergamot coupled with the Jasmine giving it a citrus, green type of smell. It’s not so much a sweet jasmine more of a very natural, green floral. It’s joined by freesia (giving it a light, airy feel), and by cyclamen. Drying down to clean, white musk and bitter but smooth galbanum in the base. It’s a great one for the warmer months, and anytime you want to feel “picked-up”. Very green, floral and easy to wear.
Sadly, like most of the Aqua Allegoria line, this one is discontinued. As a jasmine lover I wish it wasn’t. But, it’s the consumer that decides which fragrances stay in that line, so this one was discontinued due to lack of sales. Shame. But I recommend this one to all jasmine lovers, and I recommend the whole Aqua Allegoria line to anyone who likes green, light, transparent fragrances (especially for warm weather).

They told me it will be discontinued, as usual 🙁
It is discontinued already. Maybe you will find some left bottles in perfume stores, but…why?? I cannot stand LE and I hate to run after a bottle of LE, so that I will not able to lusciously spraying myself for fear of running out. To buy or not to buy?
This was so much better quality than most Allegorias.
This is proving that Thierry Wasser can be a perfumer when he wants to be a perfumer.
I have a doubt that LE with better quality are given for a short time to attract customers and then give them worse quality when they want a new bottle.
Edit: I got a fb from my lovely bf who was lucky enough to find it in a store. Last bottle. A total luxury. This is how I want to smell all summer! Jasmine on an enveloping base. Nothing indolic here but addictive nonetheless, 100% femme.
    I LOVE IT!!!

A nice strong, but not offensive jasmine. These are the first words that come in mind.
This is the third aqua allegoria I have smelt, and all of them have been outstanding.
I even LIKE lily of the valley in this one and that don’t happen often.
    Quite enjoyable and dreamy.

What a wonderful fragrance. Pure summer delight in a bottle. Agree with another reviewer who remarked that it could brighten a fall day or even a grey gloomy winter day. 10 out of 10 Guerlaine always loved your fragrances – this is the fragrance for me this holiday and this summer. As I hear it’s to be discontinued I will start a protest here on Fragrantica, let all jasmine lovers band together and sign a petition for Guerlaine to keep this in stock for years to come! I have had this on for half an hour and I am out of the very zesty citrus phase and into the white floral stage more creamy and really beautiful and I can now enhale deeply, and close my eyes, – reach forward, and pick a jasmine flower and steal away up the garden path to the door of my house slip inside and place the beautiful smelling flower in my vase, take out my mandolin and sing songs about the purity and beauty of this flower …

It is so jasmine that it makes my head spin round, but I love it anyway. It is not good for daily use but for special occasions.

Confession: I have never smelled a real jasmine flower, but somehow over the years I’ve tried enough jasmine perfumes to realize that I love the scent. This, I think, comes closest to my idea of the ideal natural jasmine. My favorite part of Jasminora is the drydown 20-30 minutes after the initial spray. I don’t like that I get a very sharp and offputting lemon when I first apply this. I’m glad I made it through the lemon because the jasmine ultimately overpowers the citrus. I guess this will have to do until the glorious day when I get to enjoy the smell of real jasmine.
UPDATE: I finally got to smell a few varieties of real jasmine! They are beautiful, and Jasminora does smell like the real thing!!!

Of all the fume houses Guerlain is one of my top three!!
This is gorgeous!!! Often times on my skin jasmine can be a bit overwhelming and unfortunately give me a headache. BUT….not this beauty. This is just gorgeous right out of the bottle. Does it need time to calm down??? NO!!! Do you need to wait 20 minutes before leaving the house?? NO. I will say that I can see this could seem heavy if you spray with a heavy hand so spray lightly. Right out of the bottle I smell bergamot, gorgeous creamy jasmine and even though it’s not listed…mint. After 10-15 minutes the bergamot and mint fade and I feel like you’re left with more of a soliflore. I know freesia is listed but it must be white as opposed to the sweetness of yellow or purple and lend a slight pepper note. This is so well blended resulting in a gorgeous creamy jasmine. Guerlain did an amazing job with this scent. This is for a strong confident woman who isn’t afraid to be noticed. This has beautiful longevity and projection and is sure to make any wearer pull her shoulders back and walk with her head a little bit higher. If you are a fan of jasmine find a sample to buy at the very least or better yet invest in a bottle. This one is definitely FB worthy!!! I agree with one of the reviewers who said this can be worn in the winter. I think this would lend a bit of sunshine on a cold snowy day.

This a bright and crisp jasmine, with a refreshing bergamot scent. However, as soon as applied it triggered my allergies and made me have a sneezing bout!…
But I have to say, even if Jasminora didn’t have triggered such an allergic reaction, I still wouldn’t have buy it: this rendition of jasmine is just too sharp and too over the top for my nose, too flowery like if it was pollen season!…
I’m disappointed that this AA was a mismatch for me, as a longtime jasmine lover I was almost sure to like this one…

Great for hot summer days. You can definitely smell the jasmine as well as the bergamot. Its fresh and green. Quite simple really.

Rarely if ever do I return a fragrance … Especially Guerlains, but this smelled like mothballs on myself. Couldn’t stand it and took it back and exchanged for Pamplelune.
I’m still shocked by the scent of this.

  19. :

    5 out of 5

Extremely lemony jasmine, comes off almost as a lemon-muguet. Emphasis on the lemon. Would make a completely delightful $10 body wash, but as a perfume the citrus is so sharp and dominant and the floral so hesitant that it’s difficult to evade the sense that one is wearing cleaning products.

  20. :

    5 out of 5

As a jasmin lover I just had to have it.
It’s amazing, Jasminora has a very realistic jasmine note.
I think it smells fantastic in winter – the aroma becomes quite sweet. I can feel a slightly sweet aura with a citrus vibe around me when I’m outdoors.
In warm weather Jasminora is more on the citrus side, less sweet but the jasmine note is still there.

Lovely, fresh and intensive! Lots of Jasmin, musk, amber and Lily-of-the-Valley. Elegant and sober. Timeless – for every woman who loves white flowers. Spray carefully or else this will be thick and overwhelming. Longlasting on my skin.

I cant believe i came across this perfume. Its in honour of my mother who passed away in 1989. We are italian, This perfume is perfect as Jasmine reminds me of her but not only that , the actual notes are calabrian,,close to wear my mother was born,. This was definitely meant to be.
Thank you soo much Bettany87 for steering me towards it 🙂

Up Until a year ago, we always have jasmine flowers in our home yard, bloom at rainy season and then in the night after the rain, we can smell jasmine fragrant all over home, its nice and relaxing.
I realize there is something missing in this year rainy season, i cant see jasmine flowers in our home yard and i cant smell jasmine fragrant all over home anymore, I didnt even realize that its become part of our home sweet home for years and i really miss jasmine fragrant in our home again.
I sent a message to My Fragantica friend that i want a pure jasmine frag or a dominant jasmine frag, then she sent me 20ML Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Jasminora Decant.
What can i say ?, its a nice frag, a nice jasmine frag, its like walking in the middle jasmine garden, Pretty Relaxing. I cant say this is the best Jasmine frag out there since i dont have much experience with many jasmine frags and women frags,
but still, there is one thing i can say, I’M SATISFIED.

AQUA ALLEGORIA JASMINORA is a very fresh and highly floral fragrance. An exceptionally desirable blend of quality floral and citrus notes lending the fragrance a natural aura … nothing offensive nor synthetic … just pure bliss of a scent! Jasmine at its finest!
I was never a big “jasmine” fan in perfumes as it always left me feeling there is more to be desired, but this one has converted me irrevocably! I’ve always loved the smell of jasmine flower as a young girl growing up and playing around fields covered with sweet-smelling jasmine (somewhere in Asia), and this has successfully awakened those sweet memories. I am in love with Aqua Allegoria Jasminora and based on the reaction of those around me, this fragrance returns the favor. A fresh scent that has a very positive presence, quite noticeable in the most feminine and beautiful way.

I am in love with this fragrance. Very nice jasmine. Fresh citrus, an aquatic/ watery quality. A great scent for the jasmine lovers., which is delicious. I’m really very impressed with this and I believe I have found my spring, summer fragrance! 🙂

I really wanted to like this because I like the way Jasmine smells but… It smells absolutely horrible on me. I purchased a sample of this not wanting to spend a full 50-60 dollars and I’m glad I did. When I first opened the bottle and dabbed it on my wrist it was a strong “dryer-sheet” type of smell. Then after a few moments it really does smell like pure jasmine but something with my skin just makes it smell really horrible on me. It’s very intoxicating and not in a good way. It’s very heavy and strong compared to other fragrances in the Aqua Allegoria collection. It lasts quite a while longer as well. This was a bust for me. It may not be for you, but please buy samples before spending a whole lot!

    Uniqueness: 4/10
    Longevity: 5/10
    Overall: 4/10
This is such a clear jasmine fragrance that is uncluttered and simple. The longevity is alright and wears lightly for hours on my skin. A must-try for lovers of jasmine and the slight fruitiness of bergamot and sliver of musk. I never really detected the other notes, but I like it that way.

I love this – it’s a bit more intense than my usual faves – Herba Fresca and Mandarine Basilic….. My husband prefers sweeter, stronger fragrances, so I decided to compromise. I love the of jasmine, and I don’t find it cloying like other jasmine based fragrances. The freesia adds just enough sweetness – any more, and it would smell thick and sticky, I suspect. Anyhow, I wore it to bed the other night and my husband, the great romantic, asked if I’d been cleaning the floors. Who cares? I love it anyway!!!

Summer’s freshness in a bottle! Thankfully, it somehow has enough oompf – maybe it is the musk and the amber – for all seasons. For me, it has been a welcome pick-me-up during some particularly gloomy winter days.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Jasmine is one of my favourite flowers. I find its scent intoxicatingly beautiful, especially during Spring. Jasmine based fragrances quite often lose a lot of their natural beauty during distillation, and as a result can smell quite indolic, somewhat like urine on the skin.
Jasminora is an exception. I really like this fragrance and I find it beautiful, cheerful and crisp. The jasmine accord is light, sweet and natural, further complimented by green, citrusy bergamot.
I half expected this fragrance to take on a soapy quality towards the drydown, but thankfully it remained fresh and floral. I feel pretty and content wearing Jasminora, it’s like a ray of sunshine on a dark day. I think I may have found my signature fragrance for the warmer months.
I’m not usually one to delight in citrus accords, but in this particular fragrance the citrus is what makes this fragrance so enjoyable. It’s also half the reason why the jasmine settles so nicely on the skin. I would describe Jasminora as a zesty floral resulting in an uplifting and bright sensation.
Other than the jasmine, lily of the valley and freesia also have big roles to play. I can certainly see why some may compare Jasminora to Diorissimo. The florals are all green in nature and somewhat dewy and fresh.
The lasting power is really good, as other reviewers have noted. In terms of sillage, I would say it’s moderate, not too strong but certainly noticeable. I highly recommend.

Well, this is a fragrance true to its name.
It starts of quite fresh and petulant. With the bergamot and the jasmine. Refreshing and nice.
When it starts to dry down I get jasmine, but also this plasticky balloon scent. Really weird.
Fortunately this note quickly fades away and then JASMINORA becomes true, natural, pure, heady jasmine with hints of both leaves and stem of the jasmine bush.
    Simply DIVINE.
Creamy, soft, a little bit soapy. It stays close to the skin, softly caressing it with a gentle touch, like a lover.
    And the scent lasts!
JASMINORA reminds me of warm summernights, sitting in the beautiful garden of an old mansion, drinking tea or wine, listening to the creatures of the night, being enveloped by the deep, rich, creamy, yet fresh scent of jasmine.
This fragrance transports me to another time, another world.
It’s a summerscent, for sure, but I will also wear it on a rainy day, so that JASMINORA can envelop me with the soft magic of Mediterranian summers.
EDIT: I kept sniffing the bottle and I kept smelling this wonderful, powerful jasmine scent, just pure jasmine. Then I sprayed on JPG CLASSIQUE en sniffed the JASMINORA bottle again.
And there it was! The plastic balloon scent!
I remembered that when I first sprayed Jasminora, I was indeed wearing CLASSIQUE, so a combination of both fragrances creates this really weird scent in my nose.
I’m soooooo happy! Now I know I can love JASMINORA! Truely LOVE it.

zesty, fresh, citrusy jasmin… it has an aquatic/ watery quality to it and i should say that i don’t enjoy this quality very much. it makes it sharp, i was hoping to find a natural smell of jasmin that blooms in night. But this is too sour with citrus, in my humble opinion, although these two notes goes well normally

Wonderful shower of jasmines… Natural scents of jasmine plant absolutely! I’m glad to have this as my collection. It’s so feminine from the start till the end. I have something clear and pure feeling when first time sniffing this.
Jasmin, Frangipani, Tuberose could grow everywhere in some islands in my country. They just like.. a patent plant because they are growing surround me maybe from hundred years ago. Sometime I take bath with jasmine and rose as our ancient like to do… And now… I can take beautiful natural jasmin everywhere I go.. 🙂

Once again I have bought a scent I thought I would love blind and once again I have been disappointed. This is way too powdery for me and I don’t get much jasmine at all. It just smells so Estee Lauder and does not have the depth of a Guerlain scent. What is LVMH doing? Will probably keep this for awhile as the packaging is beautiful and I do not have a Guerlain beehive bottle but eventually this limited edition will end up on e-bay.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Whoa!!! This is JASMINE. I have been fumbling in a jasmine bush all night long 😉 it really does smell like that! The opening is citrusy, it soon turns in to a pure jasmine after about 3 mins, the jasmine lingers well into hours with just the slightest hint of musk towards the end. It’s not subtle and airy, nor thick and heady, it’s the middle ground, between l’occitanes jasmine & bvlgari jasmine noir. My first from this range, and now I want totey them all!

  39. :

    5 out of 5

This is really a nice jasmine floral. It’s very fresh and cool, and very plantlike, reminds me of getting jasmine sap on my hands when I was a kid, trying to pick it off the vine.
You smell some jasmine all the way through, but starts off with a fresh, tender leafiness. Then it softens into a rich but fresh milky white floral, with the cool green aspect still in the background. When I wear it, I definitely get quite a bit more of the lily of the valley than jasmine, which is nice, but… not quite the jasmine I was expecting.
This would be beautiful for spring and summer, espeically to jasmine or lily of the valley lovers.

I agree with most reviews here, AA Jasminora it’s one of the most beautiful jasmines out there. Zesty , not too sweet , bright, uplifting…wonderful.Freesia it’s also recognizable. Unlike most here, I get a great sillage and good staying power (about 6-8 hours). It’s a great choice for any season, use it whenever you feel happy.Get it while you can, it’s a limited edition. It’s going in my top 10!

  41. :

    5 out of 5

This is indeed a very fresh, earthy, creamy and realistic jasmine scent. It starts off a bit bitter and green, and then turns creamy and milky. I appreciate it, but something about it on my skin disturbs me. Might be the freesia – it’s usually a problematic note for me. In the first few minutes after this is sprayed on, it also has a hint of something like mothballs. Although it seems to be a well-done scent, it’s just not for me.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

If you enjoy green, fresh and crispy scents and have a craving for a jasmine that is light and natural, then JASMINORA will fit the bill. Jasmine in this fragrance is so tender, light and fresh that it feels like a gentle breeze rather than heady and strong jasmine aroma I am used to. This jasmine is not a sensual seductress but a young pretty girl in a white dress with sunshine on her face. And that’s why I love this fragrance so much. It feels so green and refreshing on a hot summer day like today and it makes me feel pretty and happy too.
The scent opens with very nice green notes of bergamot and cyclamen with the jasmine aroma making its presence right away. The scent transforms into very green, fresh jasmine with freesia and lily of the valley. Jasmine is truly beautiful in the heart notes. I would not classify this scent as a jasmine only scent as I think the green and crisp accent comes from the freesia and lily of the valley. Both of them are quite noticeable on my skin but the jasmine is definitely leading the way. The scent stays beautiful for about an hour and then transitions on my skin into a light floral musk.
My overall rating is 8/10. I wish the beautiful jasmine phase lasted longer. It lasts one hour max on me, so I have to re-apply.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

I really like this Jasmine perfume…a little too citrussy though for my taste (since i really want the Jasmine to be more creamy), and i am just so disappointed by the lack of sillage.
I literly don’t smell the fragrance on me after 20 minutes..i now spray it in large amounts over my chest/neck area and arms… amounts that with any other perfume i own, would make me like one of those women who walk by, leaving a smothering, almost slap-in-the-face kind of perfume scent..but even then after an hour the perfume is almost nowhere to detect anymore.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

So far the best from AA range! It’s a lovely light jasmine with some fresh green accords. The freesia and lily-of-the-valley are also quite intensive, but blend nicely within the composition. Great for spring and summer. I wish it was available as EdP as well.

I think I have found my perfect jasmine. Not too indolic, not too heavy, not too sweet. It has a lovely bergamot opening which shifts into jasmine petals and some soft musk. So pretty! It makes me think of peach-colored satin overlayed with chiffon. A perfect spring and summer floral. I only hope it’s not discontinued too soon, as the Aqua Allegorias often are.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

This is exactly what it says it is, a floral green jasmine scent. Is it the best jasmine scent I’ve ever smelled? No. But it is a nice light green jasmine, maybe a good tradeoff for jasmine lovers from their usual jasmine scent to this one as their spring and summer jasmine fragrance.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

A really good, strong and true jasmin. No ‘oopsy daisy got a little crazy with the sweet notes’ here! It’s almost like an essential jasmin oil, though a bit more herbal even and less sweet. I actually think I could not pull it off, because I imagine mysterious beautiful women behind black robes in the middle-east wearing this. But maybe that’s just me!

  49. :

Wow. A little fizzy lemonade beginning then Proper freshly picked jasmine. Like being showered in the flowers or standing next to a bush of the things. If you’re looking for jasmine you’ve found it. Here’s hoping this one stays in the Aqua stable as long as Herba Fresca!
Addendum: Unfortunatly the drydown is terrible. Really terrible in a needing to be washed off or other people may actually find you unpleasant type way. Makes me flinch. Very disappointed indeed :(((

Truly this is the most fantastic jasmine ever! I have never before found a perfume that captured the moment, usually just before dusk, when the gorgeous heady smell of jasmine fills the garden with enchantment. I am in love! Lovely sillage and with better lasting power than most Allegorias – but not quite up to Pamplelune standard. But why a limited edition? Already I am panicking that this will be gone too soon – time to start stockpiling!

This is the best jasmin ever for me, real italian jasmin.
not cloying, not sharp, so beautiful, sweet, natural, green leaves and honey.
I have a big jasmin on my terrace and…what can I say…Jasminora smells like home. I am so grateful to Guerlain for giving me such a strong emotional experience.
I agree with Liina and Dina: I’m in love.

Lovely scent! Eventually Guerlain came out with a meaningful Allegoria! Jasminora is both fresh and warm. Of course I smell mainly jasmin, but I wouldn’t call it a soliflore. It’s more complicated than pure jasmin smell. It doesn’t remind me of the flower itself. It’s a very feminine yet wearable scent, like a little fraction of Samsara maybe, without the tons of sansalwood.
I enjoy Notre Flore Jasmin so much and still I think that Jasminora is more refined, even if less extrovert. Also lasting power is quite good. I wear it from testers when I find them, but I won’t buy FB for now, because I have too many perfumes now and different jasmins!

I’m writing this review while I’m having the paper stripe just under my nose 🙂
OMG! it’s one of the best fragrances I smelled lately, maybe even in the last couple of years… It’s an amazing jasmine fume, a typical soliflore example, that captures the essence of jasmine. What makes it extremely unique and alluring it’s the sweetness of the notes, I’ve never smelled such a sweet and well balanced jasmine fragrance, which are either combined with other notes that hide the beauty of this lovely white flower, or have a sharp pungent notes.
Jasminora is utterly feminine, tender, classy and very long lasting…the best jasmine fragrance ever…
    Bravo Guerlain 🙂
    UPDATE:
    ======
Finally got my hands on this little treasure and wanted to share the inscription on the box:
    “A stroll at twilight
    Be enraptured
by the sensual aromas of jasmine
    And fall under their spell.
    Jasminora
    The spirit of Jasmine
    and a note of freesia.”

Such a remarcable scent with an impressive silage! Very bright, zesty perfume with a natural smelling jasmin. It has an elegant touch, very good for a ladylike feeling.
It could be on my list for this season.

Oh my god! I found it! My true jasmine scent. It’s Aqua Allegoria Jasminora.
As jasmine is my most favourite scent in the world I was looking for a perfume with a dominating note of true jasmine. Many people suggested me Notre Flore Jasmin by L`Occitane en Provence but it was nowhere near my country to be found, so I started a search of my own. And finally there it was. I first noticed a picture of it in a magazine and when I saw the name I knew it was a must-test for me. And no disappointment there. The jamine is just perfect. That’s all I needed. I’m in love!
