Imagine a rose-bush in a garden growing, its sea green leaves unfolding in the starlit dusk. This scent is a dew-drop kiss from a roaming dusk angel. Luminous, cosmic, radiant, gathered sweetness in the early morning hours. This divine fragrance tenderly wraps its spell around you. Pine trees, vanilla, musk, all looked-on, support to the centre stage star. In all its fragrant beauty blooms the rose, every bud has grown into the perfect flower and the perfect scent.
This is the scent spartan would wear pre-battle. Magnifico.

Simply beautiful flowers with citrous obertones, which remindes me of air refreshers. On my skin it is very weak (I tested it several times, and each time it was like that). Either there is nothing special, or something I do not understand.

im officially jumping off the lyric man hype train.for the light rose category, this is nice for sure.its a fresh creamy light rose scent. maybe a fresh rose soap or even some complimentary shampoo from a hotel. i like it but im not much of a freshie fan. to fill the light rose category as of today, i run with declaration d’un soir.

I blind bought this and got it yesterday. I have honestly never fallen in love with a fragrance as i have with this. It is pure class in a bottle. The rose is unbelievably jammy and tasty. And to my nose, has a fruity yummy soapy simply gorgeous blend of rose I have ever smelt. My girlfriend loves it on me. and could’nt stop sniffing my neck. I LOVE this Amouage fragrance!!!!
Don’t listen to what people say. smell it first, and i am sure you will love it. Huge compliment getter. Got compliments from countless ladies at Church today!!!!!
    update:
my girl only wants me to wear this at home in bed!!! she just told me “its too sensual for other girls to smell” hahaha!!! i love it!!!

I read a lot of reviews where people write that they smell different ingredients. I guess they have super olfactory organs so good for them. By the first spray there is the overpowering explosion of the smell of flowers. Around 3 to 4 hours then it gradually smells like when you walk into a church on sunday which is filled with rich, posh, old white people in their late 60s but early 70s or 80s. There is that mixture of different perfumes when you are at such a place and that is what this perfume exudes. I am in my early 50s and this is not for me. It last very long if you like this scent but the sillage is more moderate than heavy on me.I have tried Figment:-great and very different,Honour:- flowery but neutral and Beloved:-candy sweet.I have 9 others to test. Next week I will be testing Dia.

Being an Amouage fan, I was excited to try Lyric Man, especially after seeing glowing reviews and even being in some top ten and top twenty lists. I went to Selfridge’s with my family and quickly went to test it. OMG, what a disappointment! This is a real let-down from the house of Amouage. I agree with others that have said that it smells like rose hand-soap and lacks any complexity. It smells like it belongs in a ladies OAP home, what is going on? I tried washing it off my wrist when I got home, but 16 hours later the smell is still there after only one spray!
The longevity is nuclear, but I can find much better fragrances for a cheaper price. I guess the mass-appeal is due to the fresh, soapy smell that people are accustomed to. To me, it just does not work as a man’s fragrance. It smells nothing like Bleu de Chanel, which I own and love (Parfum version).
If it is your first Amouage, I would suggest Interlude, Jubilation XXV, or Epic, or even Reflection to start off with.
    2/10

This is a fresh clean soapy scent , I think this fragrance suit both men and women , the rose is very beautiful and noticeable here , Amouage fragrances are known for being so unique, this one is not unique at all …but it’s good 7/10.

Amouage lyric man: here you go! Usually there’s a DNA that you can find it less or more in other fragrances of this house… for example you see interlude in jubilation or memoir in reflection and so… but in lyric man you cannot find any DNA or print than others. Really delicious juice really delicious spicy rose… kind of unisex and very clean. Rose is difficult element to work by it because balancing and bleeding is so hard. Really well blended complex dominated rose not. Projects unbelievable … it’s not fare to underrated that much. I love it. I can say sweet rose ( not spicy) fragrance. In my opinion it smells somehow like Bleu De Chanel smells! You will understand if you sniff both

Lyric man is an ode to the rose. The notes are so well blended nothing else stands out by itself. It seems they exist only to accentuate facets of the rose. In the opening i get just enough citrus that the rose takes on a juicy character. At one point i thought it would go soapy but it walks a fine line going floral sweet instead. Incense and herbal notes would hint at the rose going bitter or heavy, but only make it more full and realistic. Vanilla and sandalwood in the drydown give the rose a silky smooth texture. To my nose this is a masterpiece, and the most beautiful, artistic and realistic interpretation of rose i’ve come across so far.

For some reason i’m getting a bunch of YSL L’Homme/Boss Bottled dna in this. Take those, heighten the quality of ingredients, add rose and lime, and you have Lyric Man. There are two ways you can look at it: 1. generic Macy’s women’s perfume, and 2. expensive smelling metrosexual masterpiece for men. I’m not yet sure which one it is, and I think passersby would also be confused. I feel like this fragrance definitely has the ability to strike up conversation with people that you already know. But complete strangers may just be confused, because some may genuinely think that you just poured your mom’s perfume all over you. I would go with Portrait of a Lady because it smells more masculine imo

I was skeptical at first, cause rose fragrancies tend to be suffocating, and usually more feminine. However, Lyric Man is an exception. This fragrance is beautiful, the name fits perfectly – poetry in a bottle. If applied, you’ll be wrapped in a cloud of pleasantly balsamic rose for hours. For me, it’s a capital WIN!

Very much a feminine rose scent which settles down a bit into a gentle skin scent. Reminds me very much of my mother’s tea rose perfume and is all around not the masculine rose I was looking for.

I like the rose from this EDP so much, that I have bought Lyric shower gel as well, to have for this long summer. The EDP it has better power, sillage, longevity. It is done so well.

In all honesty, Im probably done with Amouage in general after this one. Ive had to come to accept what I didnt want to believe when I initially read some other reviewers stating that present day (magnetic cap) Amouages are grossly overrated and overhyped by fragcommers, for the price being charged. Ive seen enough to know that this house in its current state isnt for me. Well blended, skin scents with zero projection, and zero sillage at exhorbitant prices. Pretty decent quality, but realistically mfk (and creed, really) beats Amouage handily in every category when it comes to pleasant, longer lasting, wearable scents..
Lyric Man is a beautiful rose scent that, in truth, has very little depth, longevity, and projection. I dont really pick up any other notes other than massive amounts of straight rose. Like a beautiful bouquet of red roses. Thats about it. This is a great smell, but I dont think its incredibly unique, as you smell this note in womens fragrances a dime a dozen. So it does smell good; just common and somewhat simple. This combined with the high price, the low projection, and relatively weak longevity (Im lucky if I get 4-5 hours out of Lyric Man, which is significantly better than the longevity from Reflection Man, but still comes nowhere close to competing with higher quality houses) makes this scent a 7 out of 10 for me.
I might add that both of Amouages creations that i have purchased (the supposedly “people pleasing” Reflection Man and Lyric Man) have received scant feedback from anyone. I did receive 2 compliments on 2 separate occasions from the same person on Reflection Man in the year and a half that Ive owned it. This stands in stark contrast to the amount of very strong reactions I get when wearing MFK or Creed. But as far as Lyric Man is concerned, I find it to be a pleasant scent, but havent received any compliments on it at all; which in part may be because it turns into such a weak skin scent so rapidly. I think this kind of light fleeting frilly scent would be perfect on a woman though. By the time the drydown has come, the scent does definitely become very suitable for a man, but the scent itself is virtually gone by that point.

From a 1 mL TPC decant. Velvety, rich rose aromas with spicy pink peppercorn opening. Very pretty aroma! Nearly unisex, as my wife can wear this very well. Wears more peppery on me, a little sweeter/more floral on her, which is great. A versatile scent, perfectly fine for the office if used in moderation. Peak intensity is application, but it has good persistence for about five hours. Past that it wears very close to the skin.
While I am not quite as enthralled as some other reviewers below, but this is a really well-made and enjoyable fragrance. I certainly recommend trying it! “Very good,” 89/100.

This is my favourite evening scent when I just want to chill back and wind down. It is probably what the entrance to heaven must smell like. Lyric Man puts you into a peaceful and calm state of mind that perhaps only not so legal substances can do.
I picked up a cheap tester on sale and been using it in miserly spurts since day one. A must have for a fragrance aficionado’s collection.

Unbelievably beautiful fragrance! Lyric for women was a cloying mess on my skin, but the men’s version is stunning. Perfect rich red rose with a touch of smoke and nutty spices. Creamy and deep…long lasting with great sillage. The memory of this beauty stays with you, even when you’re not wearing it. Best for elegant occasions and truly unisex. Just wonderful.

I had the Vintage version of Lyric Man by Amouage. It’s rose, rose and rose again. I tried to love this fragrance but I couldn’t. This scent is really too feminine and too powdery for my taste. My favorite rose scents are Rose 31 by Le Labo and Lumière Noire by Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

@cocolover lol very true I’m masculine however I love sweet powdery Rose and oud combination fragrances I’m still masculine lol

  21. :

    3 out of 5

I like this scent, however, I find it tiring to wear something this powdery and rosy all day long.
The blend has no feminine qualities except that the rose note itself without any spice, smells natural, gentle, powdery. Rose smell is used to scent a lot of feminine products on the market, while not so much for men, I believe that is the reason why most asociate it with female.
I agree with an oppinion that masculine (macho) rose is not really much of a rose, instead it is a blend of spices with a subtle hint of rose. However, this is not that type of scent.

@richmilton ah, there’s nothing more masculine than a guy so insecure in his masculinity that he has to scream ‘I’m masculine’ in every single review.

To me, this smells like roses in a vase of water. I don’t really pick up much else from it.
The strength of this fragrance is that it’s so light and fresh. I don’t see this as romantic – for some reason I imagine a salesperson wearing this.
Gender-wise it’s the equivalent of a clean, crisp pink shirt or pink tie. Men can wear it but it’s all about context. If you wear this with an immaculate smart suit I think it works. Very fresh and crisp like a Creed fragrance.

  24. :

@johnnycr if a woman can pull it off as you say then it’s not masculine. So your review turned me off from this fragrance because I now believe it’s either unisex or feminine.

I don’t have a signature scent, but if I was to choose one, Lyric Man would make the short list for sure. It was an instant love for me.
This is a masculine, clean rose that lasts for a long time with moderate projection. To me, that’s perfect. If you are a lover of rose fragrances, this is a must try.
To top it off, my wife smelled it on me today and her eyes lit up! She said, “Oh I love that one!” For a fragrance to be a “love” for both of us tends to be a rare occurrence. If you’re thinking of checking out rose, give this one a try.
Even though I think it’s masculine leaning, I think a woman could 100% pull this off. Lyric Man makes me want to dive deeper into the Amouage catalog.

A masterpiece. This is one of the best fragrances ever created in my opinion.
How could Amouage make rose so fresh, airy and light?
It is blended to perfection. Very clean, soapy, sophisticated, classy and extremely pleasant.
To me it is Happiness in a bottle.
    10/10 at all categories.

So Wonderful. A clean and watery rose with some musk and light citrus. While it is heavy on the floral notes, a man will pull this off beautifully if he chooses to wear it confidently. This fragrance embodies the image of a warm bath full of rose petals. It’s clean, pure, and fresh, but also has a texture that I would compare to silky velvet. The sillage is a clean trail of rose petals and something slightly powdery. It will get noticed.

Intrigued by the reviews and the idea behind this fragrance, I ordered a sample. Yesterday (on Valentine’s Day) I applied it in the “full immersion” mode, without trying it on my wrist before. I have been immediately surrouded by a beautiful, very authentic smell of roses, really lyric and romantic. As peaceful as the dream of world peace. I was positively surprised with the long time of good projection of this note. About two hours after the application I went out and with the temperature slightly below zero Celsius I had an impression of walking behind someone carrying a large bouquet of roses.
At this stage the composition wasn’t that peaceful anymore, though. Close to my skin I could smell nutmeg and incense in company of other notes that I’m unable to name – they all had been masked by the rose before. After twenty hours and having taken a shower I can still smell traces of the rose on my wrist and it’s accompanied by some other aromas, I think conifers and musk. Different, but still very pleasant.
To me it is a beautiful perfume, beautiful in the way in which poetry can be beautiful. Amouage Lyric Man jumps to the first position on my “most wanted” list. I don’t think I will buy a full bottle anytime soon, though, as it’s pricey and I feel I have too many fragrances as it is. 🙂 But I’m glad I still have the sample which will last for at least two more special evenings. Since my Lady loved Lyric Man as much as I did, they will be special for sure.

This fragrance has an amazing freshness that follows you around for hours. The Rose is the soapy clean type. It’s not sweet, not even in the dry down. You get all the aromatic elements of the rose without the synthetic sweetness most rose fragrance have. The dry down is woody but very aromatic not sticky and thick.
This is not a complex composition, however it’s perfectly simple. All you get is this clean rose, the best possible way. You can wear this any-time any-where.
This is a great buy beacuse it lasts and projects nicely. You will smell like you just got out of the shower for 5 hours. I don’t like Amouage very much but I think This is the best pure rose fragrance ever made in my opinion.

Rose done like you’ve never smelt before, this is exquisite and opulent. It smells of sophistication, of a confident clean man. The rose is the main player, but in no way in a feminine way, though ladies could pull off this fragrance too. The dry down is soapy, but wow what a dry down. Like an expensive soap that’s smooth and clean. Leaving you smell like million dollars. I need a full bottle! It’s hard to put into words how nice this fragrance is!
    Well done Amouage!!!

It’s been almost a month since I’ve got it and I’m reviewing for second time. This fragrance is genius. Amouage has achieved to compromise rose with freshness and romance with men. There’s nothing to do with other rose fragrances. When you think about rose your mind goes to dark old lady scents. No way at all! This is a real sensual man’s fragrance, and it keeps itself fresh and slightly powerful. The rose is always up, until the dry down. It seems like you have already take a bath with a soap from another invisible world. That’s delicious and absolutely unique. I believe that there are no words to describe the Lyric’s beauty. This is real magic!!!!

While I’ve had the decant for over two months, I never really looked at it or even sniffed it. I was taken away by Myths. I was on the search for a perfect rose scent and a fellow Facebook group member suggested this to me. Now, while I wouldn’t call this a personal ‘perfect rose’, it definitely makes me feel comfortable and warm inside.
Fragrances that do this are often things I must possess. Now, the wise thing to do would be to wait for the decant to be finished. Can I do that? Who knows.
The scent itself is a beautiful smoky rose with bright citruses in the opening. Soft spices, maybe cloves, tickle my nose while sandalwood and saffron make it warm and toasty. Green galbanum I can smell and pine, also, although I wouldn’t have picked them out without the pyramid.
Just really, really lovely. I’d be interested to smell this on a woman because I think she could really pull this off.

    Three words:
    Red Zinger Tea.
But iced, not hot. And there’s a bit of candied orange and a splash of incense.
Seriously, if you can’t smell the Celestial Seasonings in this, your olfactory situation is haggard. This is surely nice, and I’m alright with it, but it hardly lives up to the buzz.
For a masculine rose and citrus scent, I much prefer Etro ManRose over Lyric.

I have received my bottle of this GOLD,i have to say this is something like i never seen or smell before,It is not that type of perfumes that you can compare with others, like “oh smell like this or smell like that one” NO absolutely NO this is UNIQUE scent that no one are able to copy or to make similar…I feel sorry for other top names (Boss,Gucci,Versace,Dior,D&G and many many others) they have no idea how to make perfume to last long, these days selling just a water in bottle, they should learn from Amouage how to make perfume,it smells while spraying soon you stop the scent is gone,,,With AMOUAGE LYRIC is not like that,2 sprays last all day and trail of rose scent follows you everywhere you go,it is compliment magnet…
    Scent ……..10/10
Longevity ….10/10 (on skin last all day on fabric more then 24h)
    Sillage ……10/10
    Projection …10/10
Manage to get my bottle of 100ml for $199.00 while other websites selling from $250 to $350 100ml bottle…
    BIG THANKS TO AMOUAGE…

Thanks God! I have found my Holy Grail. I had never thought that a rose scent will be my favorite. Namely, that Amouage is a great Perfume House. The more difficult note rose is, the better scent is made. Rose, but fresh, manly smelling, romantic and sexy! Congratulations Amouage! The best perfume ever!!!

    Rose – peppery – citrus
    Color impression: dusky crimson
Crown of all masculine roses. I’m not a rose fan at all but there’s something in Lyric Man, something simply enchanting and highly delicate without spoiling manly boundaries. Lyric displays freshly squeezed bergamot and lemon on a dusky dark rose, atop on a murky spicy incense basement. Luxurious and authentic rose.

I Finally found a rose fragrance (thanks to all you guys on fragrantica) that a man can wear without smelling feminine. To me this starts off with a beautiful scent of citrus from mostly lime and a little bergamot with rose, incense, musk, a touch of fresh spice, and a little sandle wood. 4 hours later at dry down. This becomes a pleasant musky rose soap & sandle wood fragrance. This projects quite well maybe 4/5 foot ( I applied 4 sprays on each inside forearm just below elbow not on wrist ). At dry down Lyric is still projecting 12/16 inches. The main woman in my life said to me whilst I was wearing this fragrance (magnetic cap made in oman) That I smell like a guy who keeps himself very clean. I guess because of the hint of soap. And then she said that the fragrance Im wearing is very enchanting and alluring.
    Scent, 10/10
    sillage, 10/10
    projection, 10/10
    longevity, 10+ hours
Update: I wore Lyric yesterday in hot and humid weather ( I live in Sydney, Australia ) It was about 36°C and wearing Lyric mixed with a little sweat I swear on top of all the previously mentioned notes this was projecting a very noticable vanilla scent. It is getting better & better with each wear. I totally love this fragrance. Only Amouage could produce something this great.
I highly recomend this fragrance to all guys who wish to smell very approachable, kind, peaceful, gentle and even a little elegant like a true gentlemen.
AGAIN. This does not smell feminine at all.
    Enjoy wearing your lyric guys.
    Thanks for reading.

After reading many reviews of Amouage’s Lyric Man here and on other websites, I bought myself a bottle. I’m glad that I did. Lyric Man is just stunning. A very beautiful rose based scent that lasts forever. I now own about 11 different Amouage perfumes for men. I think that Lyric is probably my number two favorite perfume from Amouage. Number one being Interlude. What both Lyric and Interlude have in common is that they don’t smell like anything else that I have ever smelled or owned. They are quite unique. When I was looking at the “this perfume reminds me of” section, I immediately said to myself “nothing”. Lyric Man only smells like Lyric Man. I would like to sample Lyric Woman just to smell the difference. There are many rose based scents on the market, but Lyric Man is pretty much stand alone to me. Amouage is such an amazing perfume maker. I would recommend any of their perfumes.
After a few months of owning Lyric Man, my appreciation of this parfum is even stronger. It’s an amazingly crafted perfume.

A must have for rose lovers. Opening I get a lot of the rose and citrus. Few minutes after the citrus starts dying down a bit you get more of the spices. About an hour in you get some woods, and musk. The rose smell stays almost the entire duration the fragrance last. After about 2-3 hours the scent develops into this rose/soapy almost laundry detergent like smell. It’s really rich and smells vibrant. Only thing comment I have to say is the longevity isn’t all that amazing compared to what I have read in the past. I do have the magnetic cap/reformulation bottle, so it may be toned down quite a bit. I don’t consider this to be a negative thing considering people said it was potent enough to choke people out. Now it’s a little bit softer I’m assuming. On my first wear after about 2 hours someone said they got a whiff of it, and it was nice because it’s subtle. I guess the projection dies off about the 3rd-4th hour on my skin.
10/10 scent but i’m questioning the longevity and projection a bit. It’s not very potent from my from week’s wear experience. Seems to be close to average performance anywhere from 5-8 hours. Projects for a good 2-3 hours.

While being at a Dutch perfume store to smell some Lubins, a tall slick lady told me that the perfumes could be smelled in the jars that laid next to the bottle as if in fear that my clumsiness would demolish any bottle I happened to touch. The cool thing with this method is that you can smell the far drydown of perfumes that reach there after a “century” and even if owned aren’t usually allowed to dry to this extent. Moreover, you can spray some on paper and witness the top and middle ground. Thence I grabbed the small marble jar next to Lyric and put it to my nose. The smell was of a tremendously austere woody rose infused with transparent, slightly dry, cold smoke from high grade frankincense. It did really take me away.
While letting my Lubins to dry down I was badgered that as far as I remembered the scent was neither this calm nor so enigmatically authoritative. So, I went and sprayed some on paper to satisfy my curiosity. Before I put the strip to my nose the fragrance infused the whole space around me. Scarcely have I come upon a perfume with such a titanic radiance. The top notes are surprisingly sparkling with vivid lime and bitter angelica, a short of gin tonic prelude to open the appetite for the main course. The rose soon ascends and it is also, energetic, lively, and veers towards the musky and soapy-fresh with an out-of-the-shower feel. It is strong and dominates but the perfume isn’t a solifore since the rose is nuanced and supported by the tranquil presence of woody notes. I took the strip home and let it there, getting whiffs once in a while.
Next morning, I re-approached the strip and noticed slight differences which I believe would be expedited on skin. The rose was still there but the woods were more evident and the incense smoke was cloaking the scent. So powerful is the suffusion of the woody notes that the fragrance while drying down starts resembling more of a woods perfume rather than a floral one.
After some hours the celestial accord I had experienced in the jar appeared. A dispassionately serene accord of woody rose with incense wafting around like the rings of Cronos. Such an introspective smell this was full of mystery and melancholy. A perfect trap, a genial and harmless forefront which quietly but steadily carries you away somewhere where silence reigns. Like remembering memories that seem vivid but are very distant. This must be the perfume of the void.
    Simply breathtaking.

A zippy, cologne like rose. There’s an initial impression of zingy citrus. The rose is here but not very noticeable, over a nice soapy, smooth wood. One thing I can say is this firmly unisex; it’ll work just as well on a woman as a man. This one gets a lot of love but I don’t really get it. It’s nice, likeable, easy to wear. It’s Amouage so the ingredients are top notch. I just don’t find it very interesting. Don’t take my word for it though, as I appear to be an outlier. The worst thing I can say about this is that it’s nice – you’ll probably love it.

Very well blended and balanced perfume, as expected from Amouage. I don’t really want to repeat what has been said already so I will keep it short; monstrous longevity, excellent projection, clean soapy white musk and a lot of ROSE.

  48. :

At first sniff, it was okay. Since I don’t really like citrus that much, it’s a so-so opening for me.
It than develops into a sweet floral scent, a bit soapy to my nose, quite feminine. It’s like a bouquet of dark red rose, accompanied by some other white florals, held by someone who just came out of the shower. Still not a big fan, but quite like it.
After an hour the dry down comes; Rose, incense, green notes, & musk blending into one. It’s really a down to earth fragrance. Someone with good nose will notice you. It projects really great, even you can smell it continuously. It’s not that screechy kind of attention seeking fragrance. I’ll describe it as a down-to-earth humble king.
Love the dry down, not really a fan of the opening.
Will surely buy a bottle if it’s half the price.

I changed my mind. This is beautiful. From the opening until the drydown. After giving it a second try, in a proper situation, I could smell that this is definitely a bold dark red rose, with green notes, just a little bit soapy, and it is masculine. I’ll take back the word feminine. It’s a masculine scent that leans to be unisex.

Beauti Beautiful beautiful rose masculine scent. If a king would wear a rose cologne this is what he would smell like. Well blended, long lasting and the beautiful thing about it is that it is masculine rose bc most rose fragrances tend to be on the feminine side.
This is excellent in western countries.
    Butttt
If you are from the Middle East this will not be perceived well. It will smell like those cheap floral “attars” or oils they sell in front of mosques for a dollar. I am saying “smells like” but there is of course no comparison. Lyric man is a rose masterpiece. Royal Floral Rose I would call it. I love smelling it.

Great rose scent & if you layer it with “Memoir Man” it makes the rose more earthy & darker, which knocks it out of the ball park. I hope Amouage blends a scent that smells like when layering these two. It would be a sure hit with the fragrance lovers.

So turns out, magnetic cap is a tad weak for a parfum. But it is a great rose scent. Stays masculine, but soft enough for a woman to wear aswell, almost as a ‘remember me by’.. Il give it a solid 7 out of 10. Not worth 200+

Classy rose fragrance. Sillage and longevity only average to me, not what I see on other reviews. If you want something different, rose, done in a masculine way, this is one for you.

Synthesized rose lasting 8 hours with modest sillage. Easily forgotten in terms of excitement.

Lyric is a vivid example of how a fragrance can come to one man, and on another it can be ridiculous, and it does not even depend on the image and clothes, but rather on the breed, if one can say so.Serious thing.

Timeless art is how I describe this sexy rose scent. Mostly florals or rose dominant scents are considered to be feminine but Amouage changed boring feminine type of florals into a masculine sexy scent. It is very linear on my skin. Right off the bat I get a heavy dose of Rose and lime Then the Angelica, saffron, sandalwood, vanilla, incense and musk come in but still rose is present..
THIS IS “LOVE” IN A BOTTLE. Performance is outstanding be careful with the trigger.
    Overall it’s an easy ★★★★★

Just blind purchased this. Despite my name i do love flowers in my fragrances. YSL L’homme intense is a masterpiece in my eyes and that rose hit should be awesome if the track record holds up on these guys. I will update when it arrives.

Don’t buy made in UK bottles. They are weak compare to original and Oman ones.

Forget about the gender, this is the most beautiful and enchanting smell my nose ever touched, sublime. I’m a fan of “rose” as a single note, but I was never able to find a wearable rose perfume, most of the men’s rose perfumes in the market are very heavy, thick, jammy, dark and cloying. Only dark rose perfume I like is Tom Ford Noir de Noir.
While the market is overloaded with rose+oud perfumes, Amouage Lyric is a different take on rose. It’s fresh and light, very smooth, a high quality juice. You can smell the beautiful rose note from start to end. But the rose is masterfully blended with other n
