Very intriguing ambery fruity scent. The bottle is a sliced apple it is absolutely beautiful. The colour of the juice is feminine. The scent is gorgeous. On me it smells like a GREEN APPLE JOLLY RANCHER in the best way possible, it’s a tad melon and citrus with green apple and a juicy pear. The black currant is very noticeable and it works well with my chemistry. I don’t detect cinnamon but there is a warmth about this scent but it’s definitely a spring / Summer scent for daytime use. I got this for 8 dollars on eBay. It’s a tester so it doesn’t have the cool snake lid but I can live with it! Give this fragrance a try I think you will love it’s uplifting scent. It’s a happy , young , fresh scent. I love Jeanne Arthes her fragrance line is lovely!

A fresher, light version of the original Amore Mio. Very very subtle scent of sweetness. Smells like a light body spray you would wear on a day. Nothing impressive. For it’s price, I would say a good buy but it isn’t impressive enough for me to buy it despite its affordable price. Once again, very fresh, very light, it transports you on the clouds on a lovely sunny day.

    Absolutely fantastic.
Fruity yet not sweet or sticky; fresh and beguiling.
At first the fruits come strong, then the amber makes her appearance on the scene and all changes.
Sensual in a carefree way, the red apple is a delicious call to summery, playful days.
Sillage is very long on my skin, I have slightly alkaline PH, so mine is rather coldish at all times.
I just love this fragrance, happy I grabbed a bottle for myself.
10/10 if you like nice fruity concoctions with a touch of mystery.

it’s reasonably price with really nice smell i personally love it! my favorite perfume right now. it’s pretty, cheerful and good longevity. When i first sprayed it, I noticed the apple real heavily and then it settled into a nice musky jasmine scent. fruity and sweet smell.

Love Jean Arthes scents. All so original and so reasonably priced. This one is a real beauty. Fruit and powder with great longevity.

The bottle shaped like a little apple is adorable. I think this is a very light, fresh and soft fragrance for girls not women. It’s not exactly a Disney Princess perfume but more along the lines of the Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers perfumes for girls. On me it doesn’t project too much and it has a very short life. The nose is touched by sweet fruit, hard to make out what kind of fruit, I’m guessing peach and tropical fruit mixed together. I would not call it fruit concentrate but more of a sweet synthetic fruit scent. It can be too much sometimes and a bit cloying. There only floral note I could smell was a rose. It’s powdery. This is a pretty perfume for girls who are just starting to get into perfume. It’s a day time casual spring and summer fragrance but it can be worn any time of the year as long as the event is casual and the person wearing it is a girl and has not reached a level of maturity regarding fragrances. Of course if you’re young at heart like me you can still wear this type of perfume. Sweet peach and nondescript fruit along with powdery rose. I don’t think it’s aquatic at all. Just powdery. I’ve used up half of it already this summer.

Wet on the skin: fresh fruity a bit aquatic. normally i don’t like “watery” scents but the fruits salvaged. As for rose, it come across as more of yellow rose/sweet nectar fruit scent. I don’t get a straight bergamot nor lemon, just an essence of light, airy lemon tang.over all feel of the scent is airy fruits with aquatic quality over. sillage is medium, lasts about 3 hours on the skin before light musks linger on. No sight of cinnamon. I like it, it’s pretty, youthful type of scent. I got it for less $12 for 3.3 oz! what a deal.

A sweet little apple perfume. I wish this could last longer. I put it on after a shower because the opening is so fresh and invigorating. It’s a light scent of fruits of apple and lemon. There is a rose and jasmine combo but it never becomes a floral fragrance. The fruitiness is there from start to finish. It’s soft and delicate and not very detectable to others. I can smell it on myself but this stuff is office friendly work environment friendly. It’s perfect to wear if you’re in school, or to the beach with friends. Definitely a day time casual spring and summer fragrance. I love the bottle and I love the smell.

A watered down, gerenic sweetness with a touch of apple: that is what i get from this perfume. No tropical vibe, no longevity, no sillage. And it smells dated too. It is not bad,i can not say i dislike it, it is just thats it is “meh”.

    Forbidden Fruit Is Sweet
This is my first purchase from the Jeanne Arthes fragrances. In France I’ve run into many French girls that are nuts about it. Of course these were little girls and teenagers and some up to 19 and 20 years old. I’m nowhere near those ages and my fragrance wardrobe could not be worn by any of them but I thought: hey this would be a better alternative to trying out some of today’s celebrity frags like Lady Gaga’s Fame or Katy Perry Killer Queen. And it’s a French perfume, what could go wrong? The design of the bottle of the Amore Mio line is what hooks you. Thesee are creatively designed bottles and so beautiful. Just like Francois Coty-Rene Lalique did at the turn of the century, the look of the bottle is what draws you to the fragrance. Amore Mio bottles are shaped like the apple in the Garden of Eden, the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge which Eve gave to Adam to eat, breaking God’s rules. This is clearly what Jeanne Arthes had in mind since the stopper even comes with a little plastic snake in either silver or gold colors coiling itself around the nozzle of the spray. That was clever. The fragrance itself won’t blow you away and this is just a light skin scent, rather fun, very casual, something for children and teen or anyone young at heart to wear during the day time. Definitely a spring and summer fragrance. But it wears more like an eau de toilette and not heavily layered eau de parfum. The sillage is poor and it sits on your skin like a fragrant tattoo. It is the most youthful of all my perfumes and found myself getting younger and younger. It’s not bad really and certainly much more sophisticated than the Disney Princess fragrance lines so if you’re young-at-heart or a girl who is just starting to wear perfume, the Amore Mio perfumes are absolutely perfect. They can still feel like perfume but they’re not at all complex. They’re light, soft, and suitable to wearing to school, the beach, a get-together with your friends and every day casual use.
Notes in Jeanne Arthes Amore Mio Forever
Head Notes: Bergamot Amalfi Lemon Rose Black Currant
    Heart Notes: Peach, Jssmine, Cinnamon
Base Notes: Musk, Amber, Red Apple
The notes in this formula is supposed to follow the classic three layered pyramid and I had hoped there would be a progression like all my other perfumes but being such a light soft frag it didn’t really seem to follow a clear progression. Upon first spray you get a little bit of water and aldehydes. I thought that made sense since the color of the liquid is aqua blue. It’s not heavy and it softens into a mist. Then all I could smell are abstract tropical fruits, as if they were piled together to release a fragrance. There is mango and frangipani. I had hoped to get the red apple listed in the base notes which would have blended beautifully with the red rose in the top notes, and would have become more of a rose scent, but this did not occur. This is such a tropical drink of a perfume, but served in a small kid sized cup. The dry down is like fruit scented shampoo. The whole thing is delicious and sweet, but not what I imagine Adam and Eve ate in the Garden of Eden. Tradtionally it was a red or green apple but the Bible is not specific as to what fruit it was. So one can imagine the most delicious, exotic out of this world fruit which would smell sinful, decadent and perfect for making into a perfume. Of course I knew this fragrance would not be that complex, but it’s a nice try.
Jeanne Arthes fragrances are hugely popular in France and in the international market. Interestingly enough they are manufactured in Grasse, the birth place of French perfumery since the 18th century, home of the Fragonard line, Galimard and Molinard. Well, I’d been to Grasse and trained and studied perfumery in their workshop. These fragrances do not seem to match the level of sophistication, artistry and tradition of the classic fragrances from Grasse. How Jeanne Arthes was able to work in Grasse and establish her own fragrance line and then sell them in Paris and the world market is beyond me. These perfumes are not cheap, but nor are they first class fragrances. I have been spoiled with Lanvins Givenchys and Chanels. But this is a pretty soft youthful fragrance to keep one’s heart forever young. I loved it. My next review from this line will be Sultane.

Got mine for $6 clearance at Marshall’s today and love it. The bottle alone with its light blue color and snake cap is worth that but it smells great too. Nowhere near as strong as those Lolita brands other compare it to — but nowhere near as obnoxious either.

I have yet to try this I got it from Midnight velvet the box was beautiful but I’ve heard some good things about this fragrance so I think it will be worth the buy since I like fruity fagrances plus it reminds me alot of Lolita Lempicka

I too got this at Marshalls, and I really like it a lot. It does not smell cheap even though the price was cheap. I find it to be rather unique, and considering how many perfumes I have, that’s pretty amazing. It’s fresh, but it’s pretty too. I love the bottle. I don’t get any cinnamon in this either, so I wonder if the listed notes are correct.
This is so nice, I hope they get more perfumes in by this maker.

Bought this today for $7.99 at Marshalls. Am I crazy or does this remind me of Eau de Love from the 60’s. Not getting the cinnamon even on drydown. Happy fragrance!

There’s nothing bad about it, but Amore Mio Forever does smell a bit like shampoo to me. The strong apple reminds me of Salon Selectives from the 90s.

This is quite a pleasant perfume. A good scent for Spring, Summer and early Fall. The only problem is that it doesn’t last very long.

It’s a very good perfume. A blend between the sweetness of an apple and freshness of a lemon, followed by the softness of jasmine flowers. Every time I sprayed this on my body, it’s like I want to bite my own skin because of the good smell of it. Although I had used the body lotion included, it’s still not giving me the strong smell I wanted. It only lasts an hour on my skin, and 2 hours on my shirt.
    —–

What a remarkable little surprise this gem is! I bought a bottle last night at Walgreens and at first I was uncertain because of the sharp initial citrus and bergamot notes. But my, what longevity and sillage. At first it’s lemony, then apples and tropical fruits with a almost aquatic musk. It dries down with amber notes and the prominence of apples and combo of papaya/mango and watery florals (light and clea- think Light Blue by D&G), I was pleasantly surprised and it was only $9.99! Lasted on my skin for five, seven hours or so. Yummy and it doesn’t smell cheap or linear either.

Nice in an average kind of way. Fruity and clean. I do love the bottle no matter how kitsch some might think it is. Just got the bottle so I will add as I test more.

Fresh and crisp. Not really aquatic, but could easily be appreciated by those who love water or aqua based fragrances.
Shorter longevity than I prefer, but excellent packaging and presentation!

    I LOVE Amore Mio Forever!
I just received it after reading reviews and getting if for a steal from Overstock.
After reading the reviews I expected it to be a fun, fruity fragrance that I would give to my daughter.
    But, it is wonderful!
I am no “Nose” or afficiando of fragrance (although I was a fragrance nut years ago and am now dipping back into my hobby).
The packaging and bottle are both gorgeous. The color of the box and bottle reminds me of the Tiffany Robin Egg blue color. Also, the foil gold on the box and bottle is striking. I also love that the bottle has the details (Eau de Parfum Jeanne Arthes B.P. 91006 France 06131 Grasse) again in gold along with the very sweet artwork all on a frosted bottle with an indented flower which kind of looks like a starfish.
The fragrance, to me, is not at all “Little Girl” like I have read. It is a soft, powdery, mild floral scent. Of course with any scent, the dry down is what truly matters. The initial “spray” is very nice and more sweet smelling than the end result.
I recommend this! I am so pleaseantly surprised!

This smells cute! I love how it smells. When i first sprayed it, I noticed the apple real heavily and then it settled into a nice musky jasmine scent. It smells very lovely.
As a guy, I would wear it because I dislike male scents.
The bottle is cute as well. It looks like half an apple with a little snake on top. I was confused at first on how to open it but the snake slides right off.

I agree that this is a young fragrace. It’s a summer into fall fragrance, bright top notes and a nice apple-musk drydown; makes me think of strolling through an orchand with the one you love.

It’s sweet-fruity perfume for girls. Rather innocent and playful. The prominent notes are apple and cinnamon, with a twist of lemon, bergamot and a hint of jasmine.
A wonderful combo in a unbeatable price.
    Recommended for teenage girls.

It’s a pretty cheerful fragrance, reminds me of a bouncy young girl who loves to have fun, yet also pretty warm. Not my normal kind of fragrance though I have to say that I like the smell. It’s cute and fruity. Gone after awhile on my skin, but lasts pretty much a day on my clothes. Bought it because of its unbelievably cheap price, but I can assure you that it doesn’t smell cheap.
