Just the best Amber out there and there are many! Longevity awesome and it is addictive!

Sexy, warm, animalic amber! I’m surprised people don’t note the animalic facets more because for me the first 15-20 minutes are skanky loin-n-groin. I love it. A few have observed that this resembles Dore’s Russian Oud or Oud Picante, and I completely agree–this must have a good dose of real, and spicy oud. The cinnamon and cloves (rootbeer and coco-cola aspect) is front and center, with a pure and lightly vanillic and labdanum heart. How this differs from other ambers: not as incense-focused as some ambers can veer, and not as vanilla-caramel sweet. It has a tobacco quality as well that adds interest and complexity. This is a warm, sophisticated and interesting amber, very different, for example from the mostly arid-woods, yet sweet SL Ambre Sultan. My full bottle is going to get a wearing this winter. This is my top, favorite amber of all time. I do not find it linear because of the spice bazaar mix. A must try for amber lovers.

Peru balsam is dominant, with all of its facets displayed – cinnamon, vanilla, coumarin and benzoin. It’s layered over the slightly musky, slightly “chewy” leatheriness of labdanum. The woody backbone (mostly guaiac) reminds me of Memoirs of A Trespasser’s weird wood and freshly opened plastic packaging accord – in Memoirs it’s a little grating and synthetic at times but I actually enjoy the mild version in Ambre Loup. The scent’s sweetness is a cross between a gulp of spiced rum and a Dr. Pepper (are you sure there’s no myrrh in this??) Overall, this amber mix is warm and comforting but simple. A good, solid amber offering for cuddly nights with the boyfriend when you don’t want to freak him out with any of your “weirder” niche perfumes (I’m looking at you, Dzing…)

    Scent – decent, tamed amber.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night.
    Projection – I did get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
    Longevity – I get 24hrs consistently.

Finally trying this….and its lovely…but my IMMEDIATE thought was:
    It smells like PROPOLIS.
Especially the opening. Exactly like it. Which isn’t surprising since propolis is ‘bee glue’….I’m actually surprised no one else has mentioned this.
My mum would always have some propolis ointment handy to treat cuts and burns when we were kids so this scent is very evocative.
Obviously real propolis is more medicinal – but it’s not an unpleasant smell.
    How interesting!

I’m not an Ambre lover , as I usually tend to go toward roses, flowers, and citrus.
But this is so lovely. It’s smoky and not overly sweet, has zero Patchouli, and it reminds me of a camp fire and woolen blankets. The silage and lasting power are both average to good. It has the same vibe as Ambre Narguile but it feels thicker and smokier, without suffocating. I love it, recommended to all , including people who don’t normally like orientals and ambers.

Amber perfumes are some of the most popular choices for cool weather, from light to dark, from simple to complex. Ambre Loup is one of my favourites.
Amber vibrates on the skin like a heartbeat with labdanum, vanilla, tonka bean, agarwood, and vetiver. Definetely has a rum/whisky element to it that remain for a long time, which helps keep it complex for quite a long time.A warm fragrance, sensual and mysterious .
While Ambre Loup’s projection is only moderate, its sillage was surprisingly tenacious and its longevity massive.
Ambre Loup is perfect for the colder months but also for a rainy and cold summerevening.
In summary Ambre Loup is a perfect basic amber, straightforward without any oddities. It never gets too vanillic sweet as some ambers, nor too herbal as others.
    Absolutely a top amber perfume.

This is amber at its best.
Ambre loup opens as a very rich, warm and dense amber where Guaic wood and Rania Jounehs wonderful dark Oud adds a nerve that I associate to the “Loup” part of the name.
The most animalic oudy edge withdraws slowly and what remains after a while is a woody amber. The traditional amber components Labdanum, Vanilla and Peru balsam is so well balanced that what I get is just Amber. All the way from the top and into the dry down Guaic wood and Cedar adds a smoky woodyness to complete this beauty.
Ambre loup is clearly one of the best ambers i have tried. What i could wish for is some more progression over time. After the first 20 minutes Ambre loup is very linear. But maybe that is to much to ask from any Amber centered scent.

Outstanding. Outrageously lush, surprisingly smoky, lethally GORGEOUS. Ava Gardner in a shimmering gold gown. A swashbuckling diva of an amber to play with the best of the best. So extraordinarily warm and caressing and sweet that it’s like being swaddled in a giant luxury cashmere blanket worth $$$ – but the wolf still shows its teeth with the odd snarl of smoke and spice to stop you getting smug and complacent. Like others here I find it just one or two notches too sweet to be the very final word on amber – all that vanilla and cinnamon just verging on cutesy at some moments – but it does edge back with enough dirty-sexy-animalesque notes to growl a little too. Dang, it’s close to the finest ambers ever. Utterly seductive and adult. Lasts ages. A killer queen – this one stays and slays.
    *standing ovation*
    Brava, bravissima Rania!
ETA: and on wearing it again in colder weather – it’s even better – with a really authentic woody oud surging to the fore and making it all edgier and more interesting.

Naheed Shoukat Ali, Fragrantica editor writes about ‘amber’: “Before taking you through the pages of history further, I must also share about amber in fragrances in between. Perfumer Adam Gottschalk writes how the amber note is obtained in perfumes, which is rather a combination of benzoin, labdanum, and vanilla which gives the feel of warm, a little sweet and woody amber and mingled with other notes it emerges with its various characters. With just a basic combination of amber and oudh in Rasasi’s Amber Oudh, it gives the wearer a warmth of sweet amber laid on bitter oudh. The best I can describe the combination is as a carefully designed gold pendant hung on a heavy gold chain, that’s how it feels.” yet what then still is an enigma is if the real collected and petrified and millions of years old AMBER, pictured, is in itself fragrant. with the following addendum all becomes unclear again, as the clarification expressed by Calvini stays true of course, it remains a complex matter where NAHEED adds: “Amber stones are always warm to the touch and comforting to the sense of smell. Amber has not only been used as jewelry or in fragrances, but it has also been considered as a medicinal remedy for many diseases from the ancient times till now.
Talking further on fragrances, in Imari, one of Avon’s classics, amber has been nicely blended with aldehydes, sandalwood, galbanum and vanilla to give it a bright warm feel. Amber in DKNY’s Gold is light and woody just like an amber pendant when worn around the neck, and when it touches the skin, together the heat of the skin and the amber emit a warm fragrance which is so comforting and light.”. I think I stick by Calvini who sums it up crystal clear: “Amber is a perceptive note” so we make it ourselves with the (also by Naheed) aforementioned “co/notes”.
by the way, I love amber, I love (yes yes) Obsession (ladies) and I love “Ambre Loup”. yet the strangest anomaly is that I do not get any vanilla and the oudh only in the end. this doesn’t matter so much bc the opening is stupefying. very tarry, spicey and this, for a long time. the labdanum then, cloves and spices, vanilla and peru-balsem build up to its royal ambery heart. such are the enigmas in perfumery.
ps: 2+ hours in the oudh and vanilla appear, at my skin at least.

    Hey Frangrance Lovers!
I’m testing this fragrance through a sample and I if I could describe it in two words: daring and unique.
I find this fragrance a perfect blend between L’Air Du Desert Marocain (Masterpiece! For me the OG of amber scents)and Grand Soir by MFK. It starts with a very dry, spicy and woody/oudy amber like LDDM and, as it starts to develop, comes this sweet vanilla note like Grand Soir that wraps the dryness and humph of the oud.
It’s a woody/oudy and sweet amber. The oud note never fades away and it’s the note that gives personality to Ambre Loup.
Masterfully blended fragrance. The projection is very strong and longevity isn’t a problem as well.
    Overall, 10/10!

I hated this at first, mostly on account of the gratingly sweet vanilla that I’ve become intolerant of in these resinous candy-amber bombs. It is condensed vanilla root beer syrup and it gives me a headache.
Over time it has grown on me as I’ve come to pick up more of the drier, woody-smoky backbone that gives this it’s depth and dimension. I wish with all of my heart that there was just a touch more of these elements as I think the sweetness is the achilles heel here. Certainly a viable option for those who like resinous gourmands but maybe not the best for fans of the darker and woodier.

Just a new adorable perfume i came through , it was a gift from person who seems to know my taste very well , it is a new successful experience for me in the oriental perfume since my favorite are always mediterranean citrusy perfumes , i adored Ambre Loup specially when it settled , it is really great perfume with high and fine quality , loud but not heavy , it reminds me of Chergui from Serge Lutens but less sweetness .

Ambre Loup is an outstanding Amber perfume!! Absolutely wonderful!! A beautiful full ambery amber, deep and masculine, which I love – natural and glorious. It’s the labdanum that makes it so superb, and also the gorgeous guaiac wood. They are heavenly, and it really stands out as something superbly special to my nose. Very lovely spices, plus there’s a divine smoky vanilla, and maybe that’s also the oud, and a deep soft gentle tobacco which makes me melt into oblivion!!! I adore it. And it lasts and lasts!!! I tell you! I can smell it for days afterwards, which is a complete treat, as it is so soothing and comforting, and makes me feel elegant and alluring. My beloved adores it on me, and we both love it on him too. It’s completely fantastic!!!

    Holy boozy bamboozly!
This dark beauty starts off with a blast of cloves and labdanum that persist all the way through the dry-down. It comes on strong and very boozy-but not like a “cheap alcohol in a cheap perfume” way. It smells a bit like Djarum Black clove cigarettes and Drambuie to my nose. Sweet without being sugary and spicy without being peppery.
Speaking of peppery, you can definabl smell the pink peppercorn but it comes off very smooth, not sour or biting. The labdanum is chewy and a touch leathery and yes, a bit ambery.
This is a dark, dense concoction that has a definate personality and smells like nothing else Ive ever put my nose on exactly….though if I had to compare, Id easily say this composition takes a blend of Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille and Roja Dove’s Creation E and if you know those two scents, you have an idea what ballpark this beauty is in.
Gets faint by the four hour mark which is not ideal but retains some strength as a skin scent into 8 hours-but expect this to be a re-application throughout the day kind of scent if you really want people to notice it. Performance is on par with Creation E on my skin so your mileage may vary since my skin is thirsty and eats scent.
I never really got the vanilla.
Scent: 8/10 if I could have gotten more vanilla, it would be a 9/10.
Projection: 7/10 for the first 30 minutes and 5/10 for the next few hours. Becomes a skin scent on me at the 4 hour mark.
Sillage: 6/10 for the first 45 minutes or so. Decent train. Drops off quickly afterward.
Longevity: 4/10 I get a usable 4 hours but it does stick around through the 8 hour mark. My skin eats scents though so your milage may vary.
Would I buy another bottle? Yep. Definitely.

    @NicheMaster29
Thank you so much for the tip! I just ordered my bottle from First in Fragrance–It’s a German website that ships to the U.S. for €25, but Ambre Loup is only €98 (roughly $105 as opposed to $150) AND you get 3 free samples (anything under €4)! PLUS if you sign up in advance, you get a birthday discount!
*The package took a month to arrive (not to mention the horrible tracking), and it came so beat-up that the perfume box was damaged although they managed to send me a new box…
    @silviaci
Amber is not listed because it’s a perceptive note combining resins (labdanum) and balsams (Peru), sweetened by vanilla (and/or tonka)

This is a very thick and dense perfume with gourmandy vibes. It’s mostly vanilla and cinnamon with some smoke and woods. The smoky aspect reminds me of a traditional Finnish candy called “Tervaleijona” (“Tar Lion”) which is a liquorice pastille with a strong tar flavor. The pastilles smell and taste peculiar (albeit delicious) and I’m getting similar “mentholated” smokiness from Ambre Loup.
It’s not exactly groundbreaking, but definitely a masterfully crafted fragrance with impeccable quality. It lasts forever and has a good throw. It’s a tad too sweet and vanillic to totally win me over, but I’m quite enjoying my sample.

  23. :

Ambre Loup is a completely different animal when tested on skin (no pun intended 0:)). Animalic honey, rich sweet amber and thick resins of mind-blowing quality and density. Was left completely unimpressed by it when tested on paper. It seemed there was nothing but high-quality labdanum. Projects a fantastic vanillic aura around the wearer. Wouldn’t call it a wolf though. Rather a healthy well-fed fox. A fox with Titian red fur.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

This opens with a spiced smoke which is sadly much too reminiscent of barbecue for me. I don’t get clove, just a vague spiciness with smoke. The smoke is not at all harsh but it does bring to mind the liquid smoke used for cooking. However, this opening rapidly recedes down into an absolutely gorgeous amber-tinged guaiac wood. Eventually the vanilla nuance becomes more prominent and soon the shining star of the show is the delicious peru balsam. I smell the peru balsam a lot more than the labdanum, and especially in the far dry down. I LOVE the dry down but not the opening, and overall this didn’t have as much amber in it as I wanted, so I will be looking elsewhere for my amber perfume fix. However, this is a lovely composition and will certainly be amazing on the right person, just not me. I would totally swoon over this on a male.

A great combination of some of my favorite notes but the guaiac seems to enhance the vanilla note making the overall concoction a little too sweet for my tastes. Lasts all day but doesn’t overpower. Very well made.

  28. :

    Not your typical amber fragrance.
This is a Clove bomb for me. Fortunately it is a very nice clove that ultimately gets tempered by the vanilla and labdanum. Nice woody notes in the base, though the oud is not obvious to me.
A very nice variation on the amber theme.
Update – I am now picking out a reasonable dose of oud intermingling with the clove – heavenly!

I’m scared to write a review for this incredible beauty…
Ambre Loup (Amber Wolf) is just like the animal that inspires the name: feral, istinctive, mysterious, wild, yet unabashedly beautiful and enchanting, like the forest it dwells in.
I can’t understand why Amber is not among the notes, for this is essentially an amber based fragrance, but the surrounding notes are equally assertive. The oud, for example, manages to blend everything into a seamless harmony that is ever evolving and ever changing. Other woods play as back violins and cellos to intensify the prominent, central role of a strong, maybe even pungent, labdanum.
And then, Vanilla, but a Vanilla that is inedible, just tremendously odorous and keeps wafting for hours around you, like a cloud from Oriental tales, like a magnificent flying carpet.
Seriously, Rania, how can you do it?

  32. :

    5 out of 5

I thought of two separate fragrances immediately on sampling Ambre Loup.
    Tabu
    and
    Dev#2!
Perhaps it’s the incense that brings them to mind, because they certainly do not smell identical in any way. All are rich and amazing brews at various price points, and are well worth testing. To me, Ambre Loup is the most refined of these powerhouse incenses. Not coincidentally, it is also the most expensive…
I myself have a fondness for bombastic scents that take no prisoners and can be worn in the tiniest amounts ( or not! ) to good effect. With Rania J’s creation, you will not need to worry about offending any but the most sensitive nose in applying a single spritz. Though you might want to wait a few minutes before going out the door!
This is heavenly woods, amber, vanilla, incense, spice, labdanum – a challenging note for many – with a warmth and charm that are never snobbish or inaccessible. The aforementioned labdanum may indeed be the note adding uniqueness to an otherwise friendly incense. Vanillic sweetness puts this into the more femme category, though there are men’s fragrances that are as sweet. Aside from the beautiful blend of notes, excellent sillage and longevity put this into top notch category.
My pocket book will not stretch to a full bottle of Ambre Loup, and that does not distress me at all. In actuality, I prefer Tabu for daily wear, and in deep winter – Dev#2. The latter is not for the faint of heart. A true unisex fragrance, it is less sweet. Dev#2 is also FAR more smoky and intense, containing notes that many people find unsettling. I find it comforting in the extreme… As far as Sweet incense fragrances go, I love to layer Raghba with Ciara for a deeper, slightly vintage take on incense that lights up my day (or more likely, night!).
Update – Several days into wearing Ambre Loup I now understand better WHY it is so familiar to me. I have an aged, balsamic-rich bottle of Toujours Moi which could be the frugal sibling to Rania J’s release. Not smell-alikes, but definitely familiar. With no disrespect intended, I also prefer Toujours Moi over this, and that is because I like the deeper, more balsamic vibes it gives. Ambre Loup has a higher pitched vanillic note that smells modern…. for it’s genre. As a vintage lover, the older/darker the better is generally my motto. However, all but the most vintage devoted will still find plenty of dark, mysterious allure in this Rania J. release, so do give it a whirl!
    Summary:
If you love incense-rich, dark, vanillic, woody fragrances, BY ALL MEANS try the quality creation that is Ambre Loup. <3

I had high expectations from this but it’s definitely NOT for me.
On my skin, it’s a mixture of Slumberhouse Jeke and 1 Million. Yes i said it, 1 Million.
This has the tar-like smokey dark aspects of Jeke but with an annoying bubble gum ambery sweetness that persists in the background and ruins it all for me.
    Glad i sampled it!

  36. :

    5 out of 5

On me there’s a strong animalistic, tar-like opening. Then the most gorgeous vanilla starts peeking out, the tar retreats to the background and stays there, enough to keep it interesting. Love it!

  37. :

    3 out of 5

It starts out with a resinous woody (oud) opening that’s neither too strong or fecal, yet it’s a powerful punch that leaves you swooned. Then it mellows into a lovely duet between guaiac and the familiar amber scent that everybody loves. However, what’s truly impressive is the drydown, in which the [most authentic] vanilla shines along with everything from the top to the middle, never losing its character

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Woah Woah Woah this is a masterpiece! I’ve been bouncing around between Ambre Sultan and Amber Absolute and neither was perfect for me, but THIS IS IT! Exactly the dark resinous sweet combo I was looking for! Rooted in the Middle East and Africa, the now-Paris based perfumer goes one step beyond typical (American) indie brands; it’s as niche as it can be. If you haven’t tried it, I strongly urge you to go to their website to get an entire set of samples for only 10 Euro!

    5 out of 5

Well I found this to be quite the wild fragrance with a lot going on scent wise. I get amber and vanilla with spices and a strong cedar and woodsy notes. The fragrance is very resinous and spicy, the oud seems to play hide and seek but when it reveals itself its like a ray of sunshine peeking out from the clouds. It adds a fresh and almost mystical like scent within the sweet spicy balsamic fragrance and then its gone to hide within the other notes.
Now when I say this scent is wild its my way in trying to describe all the notes coming at you all at once. You get a constant shifting impressions from the amber vanilla to the spicy woods. I have to say its a very interesting multi-layered fragrance and one that will keep you smelling yourself to see what you will smell next.
A big thumbs up from me on this scent. A very resinous spicy woody vanilla amber with hidden facets of oud. I like it.

I blind purchased this recently based on the amount of love this fragrance gets. To be honest, I was suprised by the opening, I didn’t expect such medicinal, herbal, dark animalic and intense oud! Initial spray was smokey, dry and ancient smelling. I could imagine the Ottoman Sultanate would have easily smelled like this, or at least his majestic rugs would have! Twenty minutes in and this mysterious brew sweetens up a little, the spices and resins become obvious and warm on my skin. The opening and dry down of this fragrance is two worlds apart, one has to like the smell of authentic smelling Oud to enjoy the beginning and at the same time one has to appreciate spice and resins to love the ending. For me, the best part of Ambre Loup is definetely the dry down, a deep and sweet resinous, almost edible Amber and Vanilla done in the most ancient way possible!
Longevity is excellent on my skin, I get 12+ hours and sillage is moderate.

Absolutely amazing, I bought the sample pack direct from Rania J they are all amazing scents but this one is immense, I ordered a bottle straight away and tempted to order the Jasmine one too. I love Amber and enjoy Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan, Parfum D Empire Ambre Russe but this one is a cozy Amber supported by a smoky, vanilla base and totally addictive. It’s resinous and the longevity is fantastic. I have quite a few niche scents now, not all I intend on replacing when used up but this I will not be without, Fabulous!

    Disclaimer: I adore this fragrance
Scrumptious spicy opening that gradually matures into a comforting bed made of mixture of vanilla and oud. The performance is beastly, and the colder the weather the better it performs.
For sampling, look up Rania J’s website for a discovery set at reasonable price. Smelling is believing after all !
Please Rania never reformulate this one, please!
    Have a great day,

My first, and definitely not my last, fragrance from Rania J. Like a comforting cocoon, embracing and warm. Reminds me of Memo Shams Oud with the same sunny quality. Lovely labdanum is the strongest note here, the smoky vetiver, guaiacwood and peru balsam also contribute to make this a very special scent. Amazing boozy/oudy depth and lasts forever.
Great value for the money, smells expensive! With amber not listed among the notes, it just strengthens the theory that other notes can come together to make what we really smell, in this case amber.
I will check out Rania´s other perfumes, she is definitely a very talented perfumeuse!

Aha. Here is one of those fragrances that you might encounter 1 out of every hundred or so times when sampling. One where an enormous silly grin plasters itself on your face as the scent grabs your hand and carries you along on a journey, then rocks you to sleep later in a fuzzy embrace.
A slightly medicinal and herbal opening transforms into the warmest smoothest vanillic gingerbread Amber. But the star ingredient in this scent is Pure Unadulterated Magic.

    I just cannot wear this.
I try over and over, because I feel like I must be missing something, but no matter what I do I get an overwhelming tobacco scent which covers everything else. I’m guessing it’s the cedar and vetiver that does this, which on me ends up as tobacco..It does make me a bit sad, because I can sense the most beautiful amber in the background.

Serious stuff here. Ambre Loup is a stunning fragrance. There is something “magic” in this fragrance. I can tell u that every single time I wear it I detect something new…and..The most important thing is that this perfume has the power to evoke emotions. Amazing longevity and great sillage. If you like amber and woody/spicy scents you can’t go wrong. I’m using it during winter(sweden) and it’s absolutely stunning in cold weather.

I can only echo what others have said below really, confirmation that it’s an extreamly quality fragrance.
The longevity is amazing. I placed a small squirt on each wrist in the morning, and could smell this wonderful scent all day. Even taking an evening shower I could still smell it on each wrist the following morning. I believe this could be the strongest scent I own to date. Absolutely incredible!

Tom Ford – Amber Absolute , you have met your match. It’s only a matter of time until people smell this that like or liked Amber absolute , the longevity and projection are great this is niche all the way. The quality is amazing I got her sample pack today straight from Paris and wow…..just wow. This is just so well done one really just needs to get their nose on this to really appreciate what is going on. I love how available the perfumia makes herself, she is literally an email away and responds the same day. She advised me the oud she uses in this and two other fragrances in this line are natural oud, no synthetic oud at all. She uses the best all natural oils in her fragrances. The touch of oud in this fragrance is what really makes it I think. It has some sweet undertones, smoky and woody joy in a bottle. The longevity is what really blew me away here guys, you really get to experience the full ride here. Easy on the trigger. It survived a 10 hour work day, a night in bed and after a morning shower I could still smell it on my arm! Full bottle is on the way!
    9.5/10 all around
Edit update – I ordered Friday morning and got it today, now that’s fast ! Thanks twistedlilly! Although, I seen this same bottle at firstinfragrance for $50 less, so that’d be worth looking in to I guess. This stuff is so amazing guys! Don’t judge the first 15 mins or so, it’s very very skanky and some don’t like that, it’s due to the all natural oud she uses. This stuff turns so sexy, sweet and creamy Amber that lasts forever!

This one is quite amazing, it’s even better than I anticipated.
Nutty, resinous, woody unisex amber, noble and fluffy at the same time.
The opening is spicy and very woody, but once it settles (in 10 minutes) the magic starts to unfold.
Basically it is amber with a mosaic of undertones: woodiness, smokiness, slight powderiness, slight spiciness, and just the right amount of sweetness. Tonka is very pronounced on my skin (=yummy!).
Just lovely, equally beautiful on ladies and gentlemen, great for colder months but could be worn all year round I suppose.
Thanks to sweet pravda48 for the sample!

Ambre Loup (tested from 1ml sprayer ordered directly from official website)
This is one of the most amazing and ethereal ambers I have ever tried. I fell in love with the labdanum. I recognize the labdanum on my skin right off the bat, I love it! It is so warm and seductive.
It starts off with heavy spices-nutmeg and cinnamon. The amber, the star, gradually makes its presence known, it is so sensual with the dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg. The shimmery labdanum absolute comes though after a few minutes, it is so dark, sticky, thick. The labdanum is underneath the amber. The amber is the note I sense the most overall. I also sense a delicious, rich tobacco accord. This is my favorite part about Ambre Loup, the tobacco although the note isn’t listed in the pyramid!
The dark vanilla comes through and blends with the amber, cinnamon beautifully. There is a dryness/dustiness feel to the scent. I am pleased that the agarwood is soft, smooth on my skin, I think that it protects the scent from being too syrupy sweet and too powdery. The agarwood adds a medicinal edge to the overall scent.
The presence of the labdanum lingers.
I am so in love with the Middle Eastern feel in Ambre Loup, it feels like I am in a spice market in Morocco.
Im impressed with the longevity especially in the hot, stifling weather. The sillage is amazing, I could smell it arms length for a few hours then it becomes a skin scent, I still could smell with my nose to my wrist.
Out of all of the beautiful samples from Rania J, Ambre Loup and Oud Assam are full bottle worthy for me.
(The note pyramid on the manufactured carded sample is: Top note: Clove, spices
Middle Note : Balsam Peru Essential Oil, Labdanum Absolute, Vanilla Absolute
Base Note : Agarwood/ Oud, Gaiac Wood, Cedar wood)

    ” Ambre loup ”
the opening is resinous ambrey vibe with drops of agar (oud) little animalistic..then turns into a sensitive quite sweet warm amber & vanilla & labdanum with little woods & dried fruits in the background ( vetiver , cedar , dates or grapes ).
Its a romantic erotic specific amber based scent , with brilliant quality,<
