The collection Agua de Loewe of the Spanish house of Loewe, which has introduced five fragrances so far, starting with Agua de Loewe from 2000, offers another very interesting fragrance this year! The new editions, Agua de Loewe Cala d’Or, provides an optimistic composition intertwining the freshness of citruses and ginger, delicate floral notes and a spicy-woody finish. The fragrance aims at men and women and arrives in a characteristic flacon colored in a warm yellow shade. Mediterranean aromas and Spanish passion are reflected in the carefully selected ingredients representing the image of the house and Spanish spirit.
The new composition opens with luminous drops of mandarin, bergamot and lemon, with the additional freshness of ginger and sophisticated floral notes of neroli. The heart provides gentle petals of jasmine and rose surrounded with a characteristic hot and cold game of mint and amber. The base closes with mate tea combined with sensual musk and precious woody notes.
Agua de Loewe Cala d’Or has been available since 2013 as 50, 100 and 150 ml Eau de Toilette limited edition.

Agua de Loewe Cala d’Or is a citrus party in the day.
It smells happy, bright, energizing, optimistic. The lemon, orange, neroli, ginger combo is perfect for any day wear, be it casual or formal. The projection is friendly, and longevity is about 6-7 hours.
To me, the best part is the vivid yellow golden color of the juice. It is like a mood therapy for my mind.
Speaking of, I have been wearing it for the past 2 hours and now it is 4:04 AM in the morning.
Is that why I am still wide awake?

As for a summer citrus the Loewe is to a certain extent a sophisticated scent. Opening is a classic ginger – citrus blast – it’s a dry, sparkling citrus, not very much of neroli, more like a citrus pulp. Yerba mate vibe winds in the background from the very beginning and it makes the scent stand out from tens of others summer citruses. A couple of hours later, Loewe evolves towards more minty side, remaining dry and energetic. Base is a classy musky woody combination with a pinch of mate. Loewe Agua de Cala d’Or is not very popular scent which is a good thing, it’s also a way better and more distinguished than big designers generic citrus / aquatic summer scents.
Projection is moderate, longevity is good. Ovrl. 7,5/10

بوی یک ماده هر چقدر هم خوشایند باشه وقتی از حد بگذره احساس تهوع و اووردوز به آدم دست میده که آزار دنده میشه. این عطر دقیقا مصداق این کلام بنده است. اونقدر مرکباتیه که حالتونو بهم می زنه و اصلا هم ملایم نمیشه.اصلا نپسندیدم

Agua de Loewe Cala D’or has a good perfume. Longevity silage very low on my skin . Can you feel the perfume on your clothes for a long time . Colonia very mild summer . I liked the aroma, but the performance is very low .

I really want to love this one. I’m a fan of many house of Loewe creations, especially 7 Natural and the original Para Hombre. Throw in the Majorcan imagery and a scent profile right up my alley and it should be a no brainer, right? Well, after splurging on a full bottle (note that prices for it have recently dropped and it’s more readily available online), I’ve spent some time with it. “Very citric,” as a reviewer mentioned, is right! You are greeted upon initial spray with a very nice, bitter, sparkling citrus. Very refreshing. Problem is, I don’t get enough development to complement the solid opening. Definitely feel the hot/cold dimension of the mint and amber behind the scenes, but not much else. To its credit, the sparkly citrus feel stays present throughout its life. All in all, a nice scent but not a genre-breaker…side note: it’s got a vaguely similar feel to Versace Pour Homme. If you compare the notes, you’ll see they are almost identical.

I was really amazed by this fragrance, I was in the store testing Loewe perfumes but didn’t knew this one, so I gave it a try, and I immediately fell in love with it. Reminds me a bit of Acqua Di Parma’s Cologne.
