Definitely the best copy of JPG Le Male. For the price it has is cast gold. Africa is absolutely fantastic. Dusty I would dare to say. I like it!

I blind bought it knowing it’s supposed to smell similar to Le Male. And I was looking for comforting warmer scent to spray before going to sleep. Le Male has always been balancing on unisex level.
I expected similarities but hey: what a great dupe. I didn’t see it coming that would be so close to Le Male. It’s like 93% the same. Projects quite well, lasts respectful couple of hours. For 7 dollars? What a steal!

Lovely! Woody, soft, spicy, creamy, zesty, calming, comforting, cool and warm and delicious!! Gorgeous perfume. Quite amazing.

Spicy woody fragrance, unisex rather than feminine. I see it better in early autumn or spring, when the weather can change in a blink of an eye. I can smell some pepper here, as well. Wears beautifully for 2-3hours, ii is quite intense and the sillage is notable. Unfortunatelly, on me it does not evolve or change with time. Will try it layered with bergamot or lemon scent, might surprise me! Overall, a good no-brainer for autumn-spring weather. Will re-purchase☺

It hadn’t evolve any way on me ;/ Just wood and warm spice for 3, 4 hours, exactly the same scent all the time, and then it disappeares.

This is a very nice perfume. I love it! It is unisex indeed, but leans more towards the masculine side. On me this smells sweet without being gourmand. It is also spicy, but creamy and woody. Even if I already like it, I am sure it will grow on me too and that I will like it more as well. The sillage is quite soft and it lasts about 4 hours. However it is a pretty good result for such an inexpensive scent, yet high quality composition.

if you used to like the original le male pre reformulation you should really buy this very cheap but good quality dupe

This scent is really growing on me. It is warm and cold at the same time… I get whiffs of something as refreshing as mint, I get the warmth of woods, I get the sweetness (this is VERY sweet on my skin), almost like a French vanilla candle. It has good longevity, but careful when you spray it on clothes, as the smell will survive a cold machine cycle.
UPDATE: I’ve bought a backup bottle because I love this fragrance so much.
Rumor has it that it’s a dupe of JPG Le Male, which I’ve probably already smelled, but which I couldn’t recognise. If this is really similar to Le Male, then I love Le Male, too!
UPDATE PART II: I’ve bought a bottle of Le Male and it’s extremely hard to tell it apart from TdO Africa. They are so similar it’s ridiculous. I dare say that TdO (albeit even more synthetic than JPG) is more powerful and a bit more complex than Le Male. I can tell the notes apart better, and there’s a hint of sexy woodiness that I don’t get from Le Male.
UPDATE PART II: I like this better than the reformulated Le Male. It’s very close to it, yet somewhat cleaner, and sweeter. The contrast between the herbal components, the freshness of mint, and the warm sweetness of vanilla is more noticeable here.
Longevity and projection are both excellent, especially on clothes.
    Absolutely love it!

I love this so much! I agree, It’s totally unisex, but it smells different on men and women. On my husband it’s powerful and extremely masculine, but on me it’s sweeter and warmer,I get almond and dark chocolate mixed with some spices. It’s not woody indeed, it’s hot and spicy, in a very exotic way. It’s really special for me, makes me feel strong, sexy, mysterious and confident.

So I bought it without smelling it:). For me this is very masculine scent and definitely unisex. I smell spices indeed. Little bit sweet, warm, spicy, not woody for me. Remainds me a little bit of Cuba Gold for man. I wouldn’t recommend it for woman. I like it but I don’t know if I dare to wear it and that is why I don’t know if it will stay with me:). P.S. Eyla thank you for your reviev.

such simplicity of appearance, the tin bottle with graphics and a name like it is a tribute to song and video of Dino Dvornik’s ‘Afrika’ (he was the father of funk in my country), and inside there is a genuine miracle fragrant.
yes, powdery wood&spices, but so soft and fluffy that you feel like it caresses you, like you are wearing a warm hug around the neck, and yet it borders with masculine at times so it can serve as a booster of character, with an emphasis on power.
it is also extremely durable and very affordable!
    what a combination!
    (for emi :))

Please can someone write a review of it. I’m so curious about this smell and I can not test it anywhere.

I had the edt and the shower gel (bought it on italian ebay). Not bad, but nothing special. It’s warm, sweet spicy and not lasting. For me it’s more edc than edt. It’s good for after shower use. To my disappointment italian budgetary fragrances are of nothing interesting and not long lasting.
