Description

Acqua di Parma is launching the newest fragrance of its blue collection Blu Mediterraneo, inspired by beautiful Sardinia and crystal blue sea. The new olfactive journey to the Italian coast will offer a cheerful composition evoking Sardinia with top quality ingredients – red juniper, spicy peppery notes, balsamic woods…

Ginepro di Sardegna opens its composition with a blend of red juniper berries and several sorts of pepper – black pepper and Jamaican pepper, adding characteristic shades of nutmeg and refreshing bergamot drops. The perfume is dynamic and vigorous from the very beginning, creating harmony of notes bringing breezes from Sardinia. The heart adds an aromatic union of sage and cypress resting in shade of Virginia cedar. Elegant and sophisticated woody notes close the composition perfectly with warm and gentle balmy effect.

After fragrances of the Blu Mediterraneo collection: Arancia di Capri, Cypresso di Toscana, Fico di Amalfi, Mandorlo di Sicilia, Bergamoto di Calabria and Mirto di Panarea, new fragrance presented in 2014,Ginepro di Sardegna also arrives in a blue glass flacon as 75 and 100 ML EDT. All bottles of the Blu Mediterraneo Acqua di Parma collection have changed the shape recently and are now available in the same flacon form as the latest edition Ginepro di Sardegna. The new fragrance will be accompanied by perfumed body care collection which includes: body lotion 200ml, shower gel 200ml and deodorant.

The nose behind this fragrance is Mélanie Carestia.

Everywhere I go get compliments from women and men. A dude literally ask me to write the name of it down so he could buy it. In My top 5 fragrances. Go get it. Also try cedro tamorna its good also

This fragrance is lovely. I just don’t think of AdP’s established lines like Blu as having new editions, I just look at a swathe of blue bottles and think…I’ve tried all of those, when this one popped out and I thought….wow I haven’t actually.
So this stuff starts out with a fresh dry GnT like juniper, settling to something much more recognisable as blue, and Mediterranean. It’s herbal, slightly powdery and with a cedar, cypress base, I can definitely smell a hint of all spice and nutmeg in there too.
I love a cypress based scent. Love one. This is nice but didn’t excite me exactly but you know what you’re going to get with Acqua di Parma, decent quality and good concepts all around. Thumbs up from me.

To this fragrance I find that fresh point of citrus-aromatic fragrances but combined with the nuances of spices, especially highlights the pepper combined with the sage that gives a solemn air of retro classicism, is nice at first, but that immediately it decays to leave you a bit desolé for the brief.
The woods appear during the olfactory journey ahead of schedule: juniper, cedar and cypress trees recreate the coniferous forest near the Mediterranean Sea, something dry, green, soft with a musky point that makes it less natural.
I have found a loose fragrance that lacks character and resistance.

Soft gin and tonic. Bracing juniper over a warm, softly spicy base. Leans towards the masculine (probably due to the lavender). Definitely a warm weather fragrance. Nice enough but unremarkable, with fairly poor sillage and little longevity to boot.

Soft juniper fragrance. Quite warm and comfortable, even sexy. You will not smell like a gin and tonic, I promise.

Juniper, citrus, powder. Meh. Of all the fragrances that came in the Blu Mediterraneo set, this one is the least objectionable.

Here’s the deal – this stuff is highly addictive. Addictive par excellence.
And that’s also the problem. You spray it once – not enough. Twice – not enough. And so on.
And I find myself giving it 8 sprays minimum each time. And after about 4 hours it’s very faint on my skin. On fabric it lasts maybe a little longer but not really.
I ordered this online from parfumdreams.de But when I tried it in the store prior it also didn’t last long. So I believe it simply doesn’t last long and doesn’t project enough. That is the big disappointment, because really, this perfume is one of the best smelling on this planet.
One of the things I love most, is that is has an almost tobacco like quality without using any tobacco. Not the heavy cuban cigar style tobacco, but something lighter, more like rolling tobacco.
    So, scent: love love love.
Longevity, Projection etc: not nearly strong enough.
But a huge compliment getter, but only when recently applied. Girls love this stuff!!

From a 1.5 mL TPC decant. Opens peppery, with aromas of fresh-sawn pine wood, pine needles, and juniper berries. Not unlike the aromatics in a good gin. Dries down quickly to a cedar/juniper aroma and persists for more than four hours. Detectable for slightly longer than that. Moderate sillage, no more than an arm’s length out.
Agree with other users here, this fragrance is a four-season, workplace-safe fragrance. Very versatile and very pleasant. Note this leans to the masculine side. My wife does not like to wear it herself for this reason. “Excellent,” 91/100.

This really is a masterpiece. A cologne for real cologne wearers. As others have mentioned – despite appearances (and the general sway of the Blu Mediterraneo range), this can be worn in the winter and works very well in colder conditions if you want something a bit more casual.
That’s not to say it doesn’t work in the summer too. When it’s hot, it’s not a daytime stroll fragrance (like Arancia Di Capri for example), but works for the office or any time you’re not just basking in the sun.
The fresh, woody and almost bergamot opening adds a heavier, more complex tone compared to the other Blu Mediterraneo frags. It is heavier but it sits so perfectly. You’re not going to choke out a room with it but it’s strong and pronounced and rewards you, all day, when you sniff your wrist.
Longevity is excellent (ridiculous for an EdT) on my skin the fragrance is still there and noticeable, after 12 hours.
I get compliments and I feel immensely confident wearing this as I fail to see how anybody could dislike it. The heavier base adds formality in an otherwise light, fruity summer range and provided you stick to sensible (and strictly skin) application it works all year round.
Get this and Arancia Di Capri to experience both ends of the spectrum of this amazing range of fragrances. All the rest are just something in between.

Blind bought this and got it today. Ginepro did not disappoint. It smells like something I smelled before. And suddenly I realized it smelled similar to Decleour’s series of creams and shaving foam for men (the brown bottles). Its very natural, herbaly, fresh scent. I typically associate this smell with masculinity.
The longevity is great. The opening is quite strong, but not a problem when it smells like this. Drydown is softer, but in terms of the smell it does not change much.
A really unique, natural crowd pleaser. I think ginepro di sardegna is underrated (4,10 when I wrote this), but the reviews here reflects its quality.
Acqua di parma becoming one of my favourite houses!

Contrary to prevailing opinion, this fragrance can be worn in winter. Indeed, it is sublime. The cypress and pepper accord with the sparkling citrus and present a balanced, warming and altogether lush experience. I’ve worn this in summer and sometimes on hot, sultry days it is too much. On a blustery, wintry night it is enveloping and lively.

This a bad mfer. Unbelievable. Masterpiece. You have to have a certain nose to appreciate this. If you want manly freshness. Dont mind compliments all the time. Women following you. Or you Keep going back to sniff. Go get it. Im 5oz strong.

Classe et sexy. Va aussi bien avec une chemise un soir d’été qu’avec un pull confortable en hiver. J’aurais aimé l’acheter mais malheureusement j’ai trouvé le sillage et la tenue trop faibles.

I am a woman and I like this smell very much. It wakes me up and give me a lift in dark, wet and cold days of the late autumn and winter. It last long enough to
I also have Fico di Amalfi from the same collection: Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo which for me is a hot summer smell.

  15. :

Ginepro di Sardegna is a well-executed woody-spicy scent that has the same invigorating effect as a citrus cologne – light, fresh and uplifting – without any prominent citrus. I pick up a lot of the eponymous juniper as well as a healthy dose of cypress, but the real star here is the wonderfully prominent nutmeg note. Overall, Ginepro di Sardegna leans masculine and a little bit formal, which is a very good thing – this would make a lovely warm weather office scent. I’d rate it among the best in the Blu Mediterraneao line.

  16. :

This smells sweet to me, like a custard tart with nutmeg on top. And then there is the other side, the fresh green zestyness, and the pepper Because the other spicy/ herbal notes are traditionally so associated with men’s perfumes for me this automatically feels like im wearing a masculine scent. I wouldn’t wear it myself, but I’d be happy if someone at the table next to me was wearing it, especially if we were outside in a warm country.

Great fresh opening, however the scent turns powdery in the dry down.. still extremely pleasant however this one reads feminine to me.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Oh the opening of this is something else; softly sexy, warm, peppery, woody without veering into too sweet territory. The notes are all there as described already by others, I am not familliar with juniper berries so can’t attest to that, I wonder if that’s the slightly dry, salty note I’m smelling but what I can say is that this is one beautiful fragrance. It definitely leans more masculine, I won’t wear this one although a woman could definitely pull it off. I just want to smell this on a man personally. It’s sexy yet comforting, for me conjures up images of cold days on coasts but being all rugged up in warm jumpers. Warm, sexy hugs in a bottle, yum.

At first spray, I LOVED Ginepro but after 15 minutes the dry down kept reminding me of another perfume I had recently tried and disliked… Its Jo Malone’s Earl Grey & Cucumber without the vanilla. I cant believe the notes are so different but they smell so similar. Much prefer Fico Di Amalfi.

This is the smell of juniper and pine baking in the summer sun! One of my favorites. I have been complimented on this fragrance, even when I thought it had faded. Longevity is about five hours, good silage judging by the compliments I’ve received, completely unisex.

Ginepro di Sardegna is another Mediterranean summer day in a bottle, like most of the others I’ve tried from this line, and so very successful in realizing its concept. It’s high quality, very well blended and totally natural-smelling – woody in a dry spicy way, fresh and warm at once, like a walk in a forest on a day hot enough to bring out all of its scents.
Lovely, if this is your kind of thing. Unfortunately, it isn’t really mine: I’d enjoy being in that forest a lot more than smelling like it, since as a perfume it’s pretty masculine. Of course it’s unisex in that everything is, and unlike the reviewer below me, I can imagine this working very well on the right woman. But my own preference is for more unisex scents, so although I do like it, I can take or leave this one. Which comes down to leaving it, with a wardrobe so full of things that are more “me”. I’m glad I got to test it, though!

  25. :

    5 out of 5

I have bought bouth the shower gel and the EdT and as some others here have bought several types in this collection, I started testing others before the Ginepro. I have not written much about those others yet, but this one, oh yes, I will gladly share my joy about it. Firstly, it’s supposed to be unisex. Right, I can’t imagine a woman with this perfume on. To my nose, it’s strictly male. You really smell the wood, the juniper. Very much so. I had the experience actually to cut down juniper trees, and guess what, I ‘m like instantly there, the memory of warm summer afternoons filled with this scent. Talk about aroma therapy…Call me strange, but I have not met a woman yet, that would actually smell like juniper. Don’t get me wrong, cause it may be a very good fit, it’s just me not having the imagination.
The spicy additional smell and a bit of flowery round smell is there to probably lower the sharpness of the scent. Yes, I love it and yes, it can be too much. The first 10 minutes are heavy, but then it goes away and after 30 minutes, it’s only gently radiating. After 6 hours, it’s still noticable to the skin, but for the public nose it’s gone.

I have actually been pretty late in getting to the ADP Blu Mediterraneo series, focused more on the regular Colonia line. Finally picked up Genepro, Mandorlo n Fico d amalfi. Ginepro de Sardegna or Sardinian Juniper I guess is quite lovely. Actually all 3 I have tried so far have been pretty good and I am kind of kicking myself for not trying them earlier as they are the type of frags that go really well with our warm Indian weather.
Ginepro as the name suggests is mostly Juniper and woods with nuances of fresh citrus, hints of spice from the nutmeg and a touch of herbs from the clary sage. Expertly blended with the trademark ADP finesse and bracingly good smelling in warm weather. Projects well for the first couple of hours before settling a bit but has a pronounced scent cloud for most of its 6-8 hour life. Really shines in warm, dry weather. Humidity seems to sweat it off skin and cold weather kills off projection so spring and summer frag or year round for us here in the tropics. A really good freshie.

A wonderful collusion of smells, so evocative that when you smell it you think of something. A beautifully put together combination of aromas by the house of Acqua di Parma – one that, when you wear it, you can’t help but feel a cut above the rest, that you are somehow more sophisticated and more, well… just more than they are.
Fairly expensive but very, very pleasant and one of my favourites.
    Below average projection, fair longevity.

The sky slowly spins – it’s pale blues and whites meld into one as you drift in and out of consciousness. The sound of the ocean roars through the trees surrounding your oasis….the junipers and spruce rock mesmerizingly under the invisible hand of the wind. The chill of the air stings slightly as it whips across your bare skin – the scent and sting of spiced roses snap in the wind. Ripples disturb the serenity of this secluded lake….you spin slowly, without reason on rhyme. The whispers of angles chime in your ears – no matter the rage, no matter the pain, no matter the endless senseless wanderings, you are safe. You roll back into sleep once again – you have visions of the eternal cedars bestowing their wisdom collected from countless travelers who sought refuge in the still lake. You smile as you spin round and round….life is just a journey after all.
    Day 94 – Thick
    Listening to: Dustin O’Halloran – Opus 23
Notes: I have to admit that I enjoy what this scent is – a simple spiced juniper and wood scent. The whole Blu line isn’t particularly impressive, but they evoke a certain serenity in their simplicity. This fume opens with a lush bergamot and juniper accord – slightly effervescent citrus and juicy juniper berries mixed with a warm pepper and powdery allspice with a touch of what smells like fresh powdered rose. This dries into a nutmeg and powder musk with gentle interlacing of spruce and cedar and the occasional dash of sage. Appropriately unisex and decent lasting power for a summer cologne (6 – 8 hours). I’d call this a sort of Mediterranean therapy scent of sorts…and I couldn’t help but make the connection to Penhaligon’s Endymion – similar kind of clean musk accented with nutmeg and woods.

Oh my… Beautiful! Perfectly balanced spicy-woody heaven. This might sound strange, but on my skin it is a bit like CdG’s Zagorsk without the incense. It’s neither masculine nor feminine; it’s a great fragrance for anyone who wants to smell very refined and yet slightly intriguing. The performance is satisfactory, but I wouldn’t mind if it was slightly louder. Nonetheless, I just had to buy it when I spotted a good deal. Total relaxation and bliss in a bottle.

PS, Im putting this as my signature frag for Fall. The sage and fresh , quality bergamot make for a great accord of contrasts, earthy and fruity fresh. Very versatile fragrance.
    Oh yeah, this is goood!
I love juniper and cypress fragrances, like Sycomore, Wonderwood, UN Jardin Mediterranee, etc. This is like Wonderwood light, if your familiar with that one, my favorite cold weather woody.
The juniper and cedar are very realistic and aromatic, making an accord with sage, nutmeg and bergamot. You need to be a wood scent fan, and I am, to really like this one. I think the main note is a realistic cedar, like smelling the bark of the tree, not even the juicy pulp of the tree. So when I’m tired of the fruit and florals and I crave a straight up natural cedar / juniper and spice scent, this is good.
You can layer and spray generously to get the intended effect, the fresh juniper scent shinning forth from the cedar.
The sillage is light- moderate with this one after the opening blast, longevity weak to moderate. I think this is a great authentic smell of a Mediterranean coastline, filled with sage and Juniper trees. I understand the mixed reviews, because this is a subtle fragrance, nothing jumps out and grabs you. At first my thought was, nothing to special, a bit of a familiar classic feel, like Habit Rouge or Tom Ford Noir. But then I get a very classy distinctive smell, dark conifers, sage, nutmeg, a hint of pepper, and something like tobacco. This is one of the most hyper masculine scents I’v tried.
This is the best Juniper I have ever tried, the smell is at times of the juniper berries themselves, so it has that herbal, wild fruity smell of juniper berries as well as the wood. The cedar is of good quality also, and very realistic.
So it’s a fresh woody, the citrusy blast is only in the opening, then the spices and aromatically fresh conifers keep it light.
If you love woody fragrances and would like one that is especially suitable for Spring and Summer this is a must try, or even a safe blind buy. Quality notes, dry, nothing to spicey.
PS: I had olfactory fatigue when I first reviewed this, but now I’m getting some warm beutifull basenotes, almost like myrrh. It is very aromatic, but dark in a masculine way, though light enough for all season wear.
The bergamot is excellent, and keeps this woody fresh.
Rating: 9/10. (my #1 woody for Spring and Summer)

The juniper at the start is not so much a note as a claxon. It’s too harsh. Then when it quietens down it is just dull. Then it disappears. A triumph of marketing over substance.

Just got 4 x 1.2ml samples of this fragrance. I think Ginepro di Sardegna is a masterpiece….pure and simple. This is my first AdP purchase. I’ve never encountered such a perfect balance of citrus vs. spice. Just CANNOT stop sniffing my wrists. Magnifico!

Ginepro di Sardegna conveys to me the image of a coniferous forest along a coast, as it constantly features the woody smell of cypress, cedar and juniper, reminiscent of soft incense at times. At first, the juniper is more prominent which makes the coniferous woods rather cool and a bit vegetal, while sage and pepper add a gentle bite. The fragrance then becomes warmer, sweeter and more resinous with time, even a bit nutty thanks to nutmeg. The transition feels like the depiction of how this coniferous woods smells from early morning to sunny afternoon.
The sillage is soft and the longevity is around 8 hours. Ginepro di Sardegna is arguably not among the most complex woody fragrances, but it’s quite solid and smooth during its development. I’d recommend it as a versatile, year-round, gentle woody fragrance.

An interesting juniper/citrus/cedar mix that is the second of the Blu Mediterraneo collection of Acqua di Parma that I’ve tried, Ginepro di Sardegna mainly conjures a summer, woody/aquatic mix vibe that is pleasant. The juniper of course is the principal and overwhelming note, complemented by the bergamot at the opening and the sage and cedar in the dry down. It’s fresh and semi-aquatic, semi-green, and only slightly spicy via the sage and perhaps some other herbs.
The centrality of the juniper here makes this distinct from most warm weather scents but not from other juniper scents, as there’s a sense in which I’ve smelled this before. I generally feel that juniper-heavy scents like this function well in winter weather, as well, given that juniper smells so similar to pine. Nonetheless this is suited for warm-weather daytime use, and I imagine it could work as unisex though I’m assuming it’s intended more for men than women.
Projection and longevity are good but not great. Not a thrilling fragrance overall or a standout in ADP.

This is the only one out of the Blue Mediterraneo line that does not work for me. It’s a very juniper/cedar woody fragrance, which I would normally love, but then there is a ton of pepper and nutmeg. It’s a very spicy, dry herbal wood sap fragrance.
To compare it to the rest of the line which I think of as fresh, bright aromatics this is definitely the black sheep of the family. This is also the only one I would label as not unisex; it is distinctively masculine to my nose. It’s sort of like… aftershave in a log cabin in the woods. It’s very nice, but definitely one I would rather smell on a man than on myself.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

    Oh no….
I wanted to love this based on the notes and the reviews, but this is quite a below average fragrance from ADP. It’s not alive as most of their juices are. A spicy woody soft scent with almost zero projection and literally max 4 hours longevity. I feel if i bathed in nutmeg this is what I’d smell like, 4/10

  40. :

I’ve had this one since this summer and just realized the the dry down of Jo Malone Earl Grey Cucumber smells just like Ginepro. No complaints here though, I like the both of them.

  41. :

I picked this up over the summer because I had received a sample from a Saks. After using up the sample I decided to go back and get a full bottle. It is definitely fresh and spicy! To me it opens with a fresh hit of citrus and a bit of spice from the nutmeg and juniper. Then I start to get a warming affect from the allspice and pepper combo that slowly replaces the initial citrus. Although the citrus doesn’t disappear, I start to get more of the woodsy notes of cypress and cedar. As the scent finals dries down I get a cedar, juniper, and nutmeg/allspice combo that smells woody and refreshing.
On me this performs well maybe 4-6 hours with soft to moderate projection which in my opinion is perfect for summer (Which is is meant for). I really enjoy the smell which is very natural, vibrant, and up lifting. At $98 bucks for a 2.5oz I think this is a very solid summer and spring cologne. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend this to others. Enjoy!

Refreshing and low-key unisex cologne, spiceness is blended well, good longevity on me around 6 hours,a nice dress up or down fragrance overall, leans towards the masculine side upon final drydown, but that juniper and citrus combo with the wood creeping up at the end is very nice.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I enjoyed this fragrance, it has lots of elements I like and are complimentary when applied in this composition. The opening is a fresh citrus but dominated by that juniper note which I love and just like ADP it’s super luscious and thirst quenching. There’s a dry peppery edge too which perfectly compliments the gin & tonic feel, nutmeg and sage also works well. I didn’t really detect allspice but I did only try it once and am awaiting samples to give it a better review.
I know what to expect from this line and a great deal of spice was never going to materialize but would’ve been welcome.
After that bright, peppered juniper dies down it becomes a familar cedar base.
No better or worse than the rest of the Blu line and a welcome addition in my opinion. Longevity is not the best but acceptable, I got a few hours from it.

  44. :

The most recent addition to the Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo collection, Ginepro di Sardegna precisely captures the scent I imagine to be found in the forests lining the Sardinian coast. A very brief note of bergamot opens, and in time is joined by an influx of spices. These are dry, aromatic spices which feel as though are being carried by a coastal breeze. Pepper, pimento and nutmeg are prominent, along with the balsamic sweetness of fresh juniper berry. Romantic herbal sage is joined by the conifer scent of cypress and woodiness of cedar, making one imagine being deep inside a Mediterranean forest. This is likely my favorite from the Blu Mediterraneo collection. It is unabashedly masculine, sophisticated and timeless. Can’t wait to purchase and wear this Autumn. (148)

For all those men who were boys when they were “rocking” the good ol’ “Pour Homme” by Cacharel back in the days.
Very grown up scent for a man (I somehow cannot see women lusting for this) who simply does not care for the latest trend but just wants a really good, uplifting, spicy “Eau Fraiche” that is not necessarily based around citrus, ocean breeze or roses, but good peppery and pungent cypress, juniper and peppers.
For me it is less woody aromatic, but more “spicy fougere”.
A true alternative to the classic options of the house.
    Summer is here to stay!

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful Beaut…..I can say this all day longgggg! Nuutmeg the note I love is just so creamy mixing with the fresh vibe creates a smooth and calm aroma. The scent stay solid on my skin and the projection is reasonable and polite make it a superb office scent, kinda romantic too. The better the scent when it comes to the end which is 6h+. LOVE!

Disappointed with this one. Compared to the beautiful citrus blends in this collection, “Ginepro” sprays on as a rather dull and lifeless cloud of pepper and sage, with very little lasting freshness from the bergamot. The cedar takes over within minutes and the whole thing turns to perfumed cigarette ash with zero projection.

A beautiful new creation. Discontinued Cipresso and beautiful Mirto are my favourites of this line, and this gorgeous airy juniper scent is the next one… Its slightly masculine, very fresh, and ozonic with nutty/woody heart. I was trying it whilst looking for something slightly citrusy and unisex for summer, and found that Cinepro smelled perhaps a bit more like a winter scent. However, now when I sniff my wrist, it has this cooling quality that you’d hope for in a hot weather, so despite of reminding a little G&T at the beginning (it is juniper so makes sense:) it calms down nicely and its a strong contender for my summer everyday scent…

This is just so refreshing. It’s like those times you step out of an urban area and into nature, and can’t help but to inhale with a big “Ahhhhhhh!”
It’s spicy, but not in a warm and sexy way. It’s got an almost ozonic quality to it. Woody, spicy and airy. The juniper is beautiful.
This is one of the only fragrances I’ve ever smelled where I get every single note coming through on my skin, which is a nice change. Spices, woods, citrus, it’s all detectable at every stage of wearing.
It’s fully unisex with around 8 hour longevity and moderate sillage.
It might not be a scent that’s going to blow anyone away with originality or anything like that, but it’s still gorgeous. It’s just so refreshing and uplifting. I’d recommend this to pretty much anyone because it’s very wearable.

    yes this perfume is great.
It is as if you walk through a pine forest and have touched the leaves.
I have to adjust my former review on one point.
The longevity is better than before, maybe due to the sample I used. It is subtle but long-lasting.
The beautiful things is that this perfume is very different from all I know. The pine-junipres is dominant and stays but the citric-bergamot note comes in the middle and the dry down.

At first spray, this comes off as more masculine, for sure. But if you wait an hour or so, it becomes much more smooth, a spicy, lightly sweet wood that sits well on me. I have an affinity for cedar, and while it is not “in your face,” it is filling out the background. The nutmeg and cypress are most prominent in the drydown.
It does not have gigantic sillage, but the scent lasts well overnight.

Love from first sniff! Airy & Aromatic cocktail!
Fresh and spicy, warm and woody. In my opinion this fragrance could be wearable by women and men.
Certainly it depends of your style and your personality but i think that sometimes masculine perfume could be very sexy on woman.
The Perfume with real “Italian touch”!
A must have for spicy perfumes lovers.
I acquired the Eau de toilette and the body milk! Very happy!

    Update: same day, evening
Something powdery at the base notes, reminds me tonka bean… 7 hours later i can smell it on my wrist… cedar is here too… woody-spicy-powdery…
Longevity is really good for eau de toilette!

    SPiCY AND FRESH
This is a beautiful woody aromatic fragrance. Its fresh and warm and in my opinion more masculine than feminine. I am not sure if I can pull it off. I sure would love my man to smell like this. Very sexy and inviting 😉 Great new addition to the house !
As Deus EX already describes this fragrances very well , its sensual and elegant with a European flare. Juniper and cedar are prominent. This fragrance reminds me of the new Jo Malone fragrance black Cedarwood and Juniper.

For the history, the Greek name of Juniper, Arkeuthos, means “turn down the enemy” and this definition well befits a tree plant with thorny branches! The idea of living plant-related security always so much that in ancient times was planted near the home to protect the house from evil spirits and men. In addition, a German legend also tells of how, with a particular ritual, thanks to this plant could force the thieves to return the stolen items.
Ginepro di Sardegna smells spicy and very fresh from the first moment. Do not forget that Juniper is a part of the Cypress family so when dries down it doesn’t loose that woody aspect.Very sensual elegant at the same time.I think that is more masculine with a great sillage and a longevity respect the other perfumes of the Blue series, but i think that on women will be fine too.

Tried today. Positive impression. If you like Let Me Play The Lion, Piper Nigrum, Navegar, Isos, it could be a very good choice. This fragrance is dry, aromatic, spicy, with something smooth that makes it wearable by a woman. And here pepper (I like it so much) is superb.
I never visit Sardinia, so I can only imagine. I think that this fragrance can describe the wild aspect of this beautiful isle. Wind, sea, Mediterranean bush, contorted trees, dry and salty air, dust, freedom.
This is what I smell. This scent is an imaginary trip. Beautiful work!
