Description

Acqua di Gioia is a new fragrance by Giorgio Armani, presented in March 2010. Seductive sea aromas in the new fragrance are put into first plan and used as creators’ inspiration. Composition of the perfume is compared with woman who is ”strong, dignified and free spirit but in perfect harmony with nature”.

Inspired by several summer holidays spent on the islands of Pantelleria and Antigua, where Armani has his villas, the fragrance was lead by the idea of escape into nature, a heavenly place of real holiday where we restore the energy necessary to body and soul, and where we create natural balance.

Its flacon was made as a natural shape – water drops which are clear, airy, and pellucid.

The fragrance arrives on the market in June 2010 as a blend of refreshing notes of crushed mint leaves and lemon Limone Primo Fiore Femminello from Calabria. Structure of the composition pushes the limits from fresh citruses to a floral heart which encompasses aquatic jasmine, dewy peony and pink pepper, while a base closes with cedar, yellow sugar and labdanum. Acqua di Gioia was created by three perfumers: Loc Dong, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, who see it as Eve’s seduction and as fragrance turned completely towards the nature.

The perfume can be purchased as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDP, along with 200 ml body lotion.

I love Acqua di Gioia so much. It smells very refreshing, but also slightly sweet. It brings me back childhood memories of lemon and mint slushies my mum used to make. I luckily don’t sense the pepper (as I dislike it as a perfume note) but I sense a strong aquatic note and some delicate floral hints.
I don’t find this particularly feminine or sophisticated, but I don’t mind that. It’s super fresh and likeable.
I disagree with people that say it smells like Light Blue – they are very different. Light blue lacks any sweetness and is a bit warmer, while Acqua is more refreshing but slightly sweet too.
However, the longevity is simply devastatingly poor. I’m so bummed it lasts so little. It literally disappears in 30 minutes. What a pity! The scent itself is lovely.

Ahhh…beautifully fresh, inoffensive scent with a lightly sweet drydown. We’ve all smelled this before, so if you have Light Blue or something similar, you won’t need to own this one. Casual summery/office scent. I think I’ll buy a bottle.

    Catchy fresh fragrance!
Almost like Mohito in the air:)
Lemon, mint and pink pepper are the most noticeable. But it’s not a typical fresh fragrance, thanks to pepper.
It’s charming! Maybe I will be it.

This scent is nice and fresh. I get heavy aquatic notes along with citrus. I think its a clear summer scent.

Fresh, green and very clean. Also a little synthetic from the opening through the drydown. I don’t dislike it, rather I’m indifferent.

This is crisp, fresh, clean, also mildly sweet, citrusy and aquatic. Not too extreme in any of these, a well-blended perfume that has become a go-to for me in any season. I also adore the mint as it cheers me up and is not something I run across often in perfume. A fun scent that can take me on a much-needed mental vacation on a blustery winter day; I live in the midwestern United States and depend on all of these beautiful perfumes to get through our long winters. Longevity and projection are mild, pretty average for this type of scent.

I love this scent as a daytime perfume! It smells EXACTLY like mojito cocktails! Delish!

I was in my early teens when this first came out, and I was mesmerized by the commercials. The music, the model, the entire feel of it- this was one of the first perfumes I ever wanted to try. I wanted to look and smell like the kind of person who lives in that commercial. Silly, I know, but true.
I bought a rollerball when I was 18 and wore it when I went out dancing. People told me I smelled lovely, and one of my female friends said I smelled just like her favorite men’s colognes and always wanted to smell me when I wore it. The sillage was good, not too intrusive but not a skin scent. It’s citrusy, obviously, and very cool and fresh without being artificially “green.” It’s youthful and natural. It evokes clear, sparkling water; I think the name is very appropriate. It’s exactly what a magical Italian sea elixir should smell like. The brown sugar and mint notes help mellow out the lemon, keeping it from getting too sharp, but it’s not soft and balmy, either. I bought another bottle of this recently, and I noticed that this doesn’t smell as good on my skin as it used to. It sours just a touch, and it loses some of its freshness. It’s still a perfume that I love, since I love most citrusy Italian perfumes and they compliment my chemistry well. It’s not my signature anymore, but I wear it from time to time and I still have emotional attachment to it. It’s a good perfume for hot weather when you’re out being active and sweating a little bit.

    SWEET FRESH DAY FRAGRANCE!
Its smells like sugary Mojito. I love to wear it during the day. It doesn’t really matter if it’s summer or fall or winter ; it wears well for a day regardless of the weather or season.
    LOVE !

It’s funny, I always knew without testing, that I would love Aqua Di Gioia. Today I finally tested it and fell in love with it’s strong, fresh aquatic nature which has no stingy, sharp notes in it, no melon and no water lily (I am tired of those).
My zodiac sign is Pisces. This could easily represent my sign.
I almost see and hear the sea when wearing this.
This scent has uplifting, energetic nature – it is truly Water of Joy.
Longevity is great, sillage is moderate.

What a wonderful fresh summer fragrance!
It used to be a staple for me in my 20s and it’s really hard to talk about single notes here because it’s such a signature fragrance to me that as soon as I catch a whiff of it I just know it’s Acqua di Gioia.
It’s fresh, citrusy, minty and has just a tiny dash of sweetness that makes it distinctly feminine.
A definite summer fragrance. To this day whenever I smell it it conjures up memories of summer holidays or going out on a hot summer day wearing unreasonably uncomfortable shoes.
What I really appreciate about this scent is that (imho) any age group could rock this, anytime, anywhere.
It’s fresh, clean and feminine, yet it’s not too sweet, so you won’t feel it’s only meant for teens. At the same it still has a youthfulness that makes it easily wearable for teens as well.
It’ll ad an extra dash of holiday feel to sitting outside drinking a coffee in a café in Italy during your vacation, but it will just as well uplift your mood (and that of anyone you pass by) in office.
Searching for a trusty cannot go wrong scent for the summer months? This would be it.

Acqua di Gioia is fresh and cool like summer day at beach on the islands. The sun is bright, the weather warm and the fresh breeze on your skin while you’re sitting on a beach chair sipping a drink (mojito) or coconut water.
Perfect for spring/summer time. Would work all year round if you live in a tropical zone like I do and get to spend your weekends on the beach or not.
Water of Joy it is indeed!

Really want to love Acqua di Giogia, cuz i’m a crazy mint lover. But this one just made me wanna sneeze every time I smelled it, and I have no ideas why!!! All i can smelled is peony and sugar cubes and a little bit of lemon.
I used to love aquatic perfumes when I was little, but they only give me headaches now.

My amazing husband works at a local golf course/country club. Each year they host a PGA tour event and this is the second year I have gone to watch cute golfers/hang out/day drink with my favorite golf enthusiast.
Today was an absolutely gorgeous late spring day..sunny, warm, but not hot, and with a cool breeze. And this little green gem is the scent I chose to wear. It is simple, fresh and not very floral. I didn’t expect it it, but I was told by many of my husbands co-workers that I smelled great, one even used the word “lovely”. Much to the chagrin of my hubs…who tolerates my ever growing collection, but very rarely tells me if he like the way I smell. Grrrrr…. I think he ignores it on purpose, but I digress.
I really enjoy this version…even more than the two previous. The mint and lemon make it oh so fresh and inviting. Acqua di Gioia is a perfect spring and summer scent but she is a fleeting one. I bought a roll-on too, so I could reapply often.

Tried a sample of this today. As a novice, this to me smells very generic, like one of the “perfume” archetypes from when I was younger: synthetic, unoffensive, but unappealing to me entirely. At first I thought I could pick out individual notes but it quickly dissolved into scent-mush on me.
This is totally unsurprising because I’m finding that “fresh” or “aquatic” scents just feel bleh to me. Luckily this did not last long on my skin.
I can very vividly imagine this wafting towards me in a dentist’s waiting room because a desk person used too much of it.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

Fresh and green as what the notes say.
Smells soapy to me and reminiscent of Burberry Brit Sheer. Might be because of the peonies.
Such a light and wearable scent.
I think this would be perfect for after-workout and even for a stroll in the park.
8 out of 10 for me.

Smells amazing in the bottle and horrible on my skin. on one hand, beware – on the other hand, this sort of scents does tend to smell nothing like the bottle on me personally.

This perfume is in my wish list, it’s fresh and sweet at the same time. It’s like two different perfumes in one, like yin and yang. Gioa starts minty fresh, lemony, like typical men perfume for summer, that’s why I love it. But soon it’s turning very feminine sweet-sweeter-sweetest, you can feel the waves of sweetness coming towards you. It can be overwhelming, especially if you hate sweet floral notes. Therefore the perfume is on wish list since it’s release, I can’t get over that sweet part, it’s way too jammy for hot summer days.

Before I smelled this, I watched the commercial and I’m still IN LOVE with that tropical rainforest, Emily, the beach scene, arrival of the birds playing in the background, just ALL of it!
So I went to smell the perfume and I felt deceived, it’s not at all how I pictured it to smell..
It’s incredibly fresh like Dolce’s Light blue, I was picturing something more along the lines of mysterious rain on a summer day or even the scent of a storm in the tropics, I don’t know.
This didn’t last on the skin for even an hour, it was mostly sweet lemon water.
I’m still on the search for a perfume that reminds me of mysterious summer rain, if that even exists ahah.

Nice scent for spring and summer. At the opening it smells a bit like fresh mojito. After a while it gets sweeter also because of the sugar note with a flowery background. I prefer to wear it on hot days.

On my skin, it does scent like celery.. Urgh..! Hope it’s just a perfume gone bad. Gonna have to try it again in another store.
UPDATE: It really was a bad sample. Unfortunately, I liked it but didn’t love it. It’s so… blah..!
Couldn’t smell any mint in it, which was the reason I tried it.
One of my friend has it, and it smell wonderful on her.
On my skin, it didn’t last neither. Max 2 hours.
    Ahh! Chemistry.

  24. :

Mojito vibes for sure but actually a very SAFE office scent. My friend, who loves Chanel Chance, loves when I wear this. It’s aquatic, minty, fresh and a crowd pleaser. It smells a bit synthetic sometimes, but mostly that’s when it’s a sticky, hot day or a musty, wet fall day.
Honestly, it smells the best when you are by a sea breeze or in an air-conditioned office. A great choice for spring, Barcelona beaches or the office.
This lasts a long time and wafts behind you. Men seem to like it, at least the clean-cut ones who are likely wearing something like CK One or Acqua di Gio.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

Firstly it smells exactly like mojito. Iced sweet mojito. Fresh, minty and zingy. And then after the party over, there’s left sweet smelling woody (cedar i guess?) that will there for 5-6 hours on my skin, longer on clothes.
But..the sugar sometimes can be too cloying and tend to give me headache 🙁
I prefer to wear this in cool spring day, not for very hot summer.

A perfectly nice scent. Well put together if you want a fresh perfume and likable by many. The name absolutely reflects the perfume and also the colour and bottle. Like a piece of glas in the shoreline, softened by the sea.

When I sniffed this in Sephora and loved it. It was much sweeter on the tester strip. When I spray this on my skin I just get a lot of lemon and aquatic notes. Not a fan! It’s not horrible, but it’s not my thing.
I’d also expect it to perform better considering how much it costs!

Fresh, zesty, young scent. Perfect summer fragrance.

  29. :

Airy and watery with cypress-y note and synthetic sweet-ish blue in background. Bit harsh sea-ocean with cypresses growing close and wind blowing in hair. Not realistic scent, but it gives some associations.
Thou most people voted this as day time perfume, for some reason for me this seems evening and night perfume – like dark blue waters for darker time or visualization. Also cypress gives heavier mood.
With time it becomes more sweeter, lighter and gets more patchouli watery and ‘dirty’ vibe with salt. But try it even if you usually don’t like patchouli. Seems that here patchouli is in its place.
After few hours it is actually similar to D&G Light Blue, only with patchoili.

Decent. Kind of predictable. Reminds me of one of Tommy Bahama’s many aquatic releases. That or one of the CK Summer bottles…
This is one of those fragrances that many women (or a men- this stuff is unisexish) would appreciate receiving as a gift but wouldn’t go out and purchase on their own.
Nothing mind blowing going on here. But that’s not to say it sucks. It’s really pretty in a simple refreshing way. But also kind of been-there-done-that. I am enjoying my sample though; and the quality isn’t half bad!

The sole reason I tried this perfume is because a guy I dated briefly years ago wore Acqua di Gio’. Acqua di Gio’ drove me absolutely crazy, I just loved that perfume (that might have been the only reason I was dating him!). So one day at Sephora I decided to see if the female counterpart would be as good…
It WAS! I tried it in the store and bought it immediately. I thought it was fabulously fresh, elegant, and beautiful. Needless to say, my bottle of Acqua di Gioia lasted longer than my relationship at the time 😀
The scent did not last more than a few hours on me, but I never sprayed more than one spray per wrist and one on my collarbone. If I repurchase it, which I very likely will, I will spray a bit more on in the hopes that it lasts longer throughout the day.

I am on my second bottle of Acqua di Gioia. It’s a beautiful scent. It’s fresh, clean, amazing. I highly recommend this fragrance.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

My GF has it. It’s clean and fresh and “neutral” aquatic, which definitely makes it a good alternative to some of her denser scents, just to introduce some variety. It’s neither soapy nor “edible”, the jasmine sticks out a little bit, but is supported by other notes. But the lack of sweetness and muskiness makes it kind of asexual (although not unisex). I would say this is a fragrance for a “young urban professional woman”. This classification could be hot in itself, but the scent, not so much. It’s just a fresh and polite smell, definitely womanly, at the same time keeping a distance. It’s OK for a “safe choice” no-brainer fragrance, as long as you don’t pull the trigger too much — over-application makes it smell like hairspray. Performance-wise, it’s a beast of an aquatic.

  34. :

An invigorating summer fragrance! Soft but confident, aquatic, citrus, a little bit of mint and florals.
One of my best girlfriends always wears this fragrance and it suits her – refined, driven, with a girly side.
This fragrance could 100% be unisex on the right person.
It never smelled like a mojito on my friend, though I can see that happening for others if the mint was more prominent on their skin.
Overall, a great fragrance for everyday wear, and something I hope to add to my collection one day.

  35. :

Well… yes, why not. I do have a soft spot for Armani. First I smelled this one I hated it, honestly. It seemed to me like sugary water, nothing else.
I guess my nose developed a bit more – or maybe my taste changed. I get more from this scent now – fresh mint, citruses.
It!s quite nice, sweet, still aquatic scent suitable for spring and summer.
It’s not dislike anymore, but still not love.

  38. :

The people compared this to lemonade or a mojito are absolutely correct, at least when this fragrance is worn in warmer temperatures, which I would highly recommend doing. AdG is very simple and clean, and I would highly recommend the scent to anyone; however, I’d be wary with how much you spray due to the fact that three sprays on each wrist and once on each side of my collarbone could have been a contributing factor to a headache I got while wearing it. In short: beautiful fragrance, but over-sprayers beware!
Edited 12/27: Update: I’ve just been testing this again, and it is NOT headache-inducing.

I purchased this on a whim as I usually do, and I wore it today on my wrists after coating myself completely with Guess as a soft base.
4 hours later and I can smell a subtle pleasant whiff from under my shirt collar from Guess. And the unpleasant to me dry down of ADG.
Did the Guess affect the dry down of ADG?
I tried it again on my freshly scrubbed hands. The top notes are so lovely that I may be willing to finish the bottle even if I have to scrub it off after 4 hours because the base notes take over.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

Refreshing! I would liken it to drinking homemade lemonade over ice with just a few mint leaves as garnish on a warm, late spring day. I will sometimes grab this in the winter when I want a pick me up. It works any time of year but it is at it’s best in warmer weather. The longevity all but disappears in the dry, winter months. A great fresh out of the shower scent. Non-offensive, clean, not too sharp, not too sweet. Think of a Saturday morning, well-rested, freshly showered, running errands in jeans and a white tee shirt. I probably won’t buy another bottle when I run out of this but it has it’s place in the current collection.

  42. :

The beautiful eyes on the funny looking model in the TV ad, and the color of the juice in the sleek bottle is what really sold it for me, I admit I was a bit transfixed. I’ve been trying to love it for years, but once the top notes burn off this turns into a scrubber for me. It loses it’s beautiful fresh crispness and becomes suffocatingly synthetic. I always test it WHENEVER I encounter a bottle in stores, and as I walk around I always think “today will be the day I take this home with me,” and then by the time I’m ready to check out, I’ve remembered why it’s never happened and never will.

I am getting a strong tangerine unnatural scent with mild pineapple in the background. It is what it is …and not for me. It smells very generic and unspectacular. A body mist at its best.

I just finished up a mini bottle of this and love it!!
This perfume reminds me of a oceanside summer day!
On me this is a light citrus with mainly aquatic notes..I personally don’t pick up any of the notes listed except for the Amalfi Lemon wich still is extremely light. Longevity and sillage are both moderate on me.
This makes a perfect refreshing summer perfume!! A big bottle is on my to get list!

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Looking at the notes and seeing the description and reviews I thought I would really love this, but sadly I was quite disappointed. The way the lemon blends with the sweeter florals takes away any citrus greenness and makes Acqua di Gioia smell like a typical fresh fruity fragrance that could be bottled by any celebrity. I do not get any aquatic touch at all in this fragrance; instead of feeling airy and effervescent it feels a little sticky. Not saying that Acqua di Gioia is a bad scent though. It is a perfectly fine choice for a summer/spring day, but I just do not think it lives up to what it aspires to be.

  49. :

I had this on my want list for a long time and finally tested this in Ulta. I like this well enough, but the big downfall is that this disappears way too fast for me. The first couple minutes is a nice basic clean airy scent, but it is a scent that has been done to death, not really anything original. But in less than 20 minutes, this has completely vanished. Not even a skin scent. I know this one has it’s fans, but for whatever reason, this did not last on me at all. Even sprayed a good 5 sprays or so. If this had decent longevity, a bottle definitely would have been coming home with me.

  50. :

Clean, uplifting and refreshing. I reach for this more than anything else in the summer.

  51. :

A lightweight citrus scent. The mint here is sheer, more akin to smelling a stick of mint gum than heavily mentholated Vicks vaporub, and veils the overall composition. Citrus and sugar are the main players, making Gioia a sort of lemonade scent. Not sticky sweet lemonade, but zesty and refreshing. Pleasant to smell but nothing terribly special, kind of enters splash territory after some time on skin, as light citruses are wont to do.
EDIT: There is a deep woodiness in the base that makes this perfume a little more interesting than my initial impression of it. I can also now smell the mint throughout the time I’m wearing it, but it’s not overdone at all. It’s a very nice perfume, I guess I’m just not a huge fan of citrus.

  52. :

Thanks to an awesome fragrantica member I have a bottle of this. I had my eye on it for a while. I never looked at the notes. I just assumed by the name it would be aquatic and it is. Immediately I smelled mint, but fresh mint that’s combined with a summer breeze by the ocean. It’s perfect for summer. Fortunately, because I hate heat, lol, summer is almost over. Unfortunately, I’ll only have a few weeks left to wear it while it’s still warm out.

  54. :

I used to like it, now I don’t. At first it is very sugary and after a while, it is strange. Reformulation? I dunno. Surely now it is not for me.

  55. :

    4 out of 5

I love the top notes of lemon and mint in here, but it dries down a little too sugary for me and starts reminding me of Flowerbomb or other cake-like perfumes. Pleasant, but not a must-buy for me.

  56. :

    5 out of 5

Well, I love it lemon-y and minty with a light flowery woody background, it is so good to wear it in truly hot days ( over 100 F).It is sweet but just so, in the heat AdG can stand beautifully without turning cloying. On my skin it is light and sophisticated and lasts for 6 hours . For a lighter AdG try Aqua Bella, a much cheaper, lighter and with less longevity smell alike by La Rive.

  57. :

I found this at winners tonight for 25 CANADIAN dollars!!! Now I’ve wanted to enjoy several of this lines fragrances but they are insanely over priced so when I found this I was pumped. It had to be a blind buy and although it was inexpensive I hate wasting money so I’m happy to report I love this. Keep in mind that my fave are issey miyake l’eau d’issey and leau d’issey lotus, eternity aqua and those types of aquatics/ozonic/green/woody so on and so forth. I do find this fits right in line with those. If you are are line with those over of those than you will lovethis

I was sad as I am unable to find a perfume similar to Versace pour Femme anywhere and I had finished it. Then I later tried this, as my husband is using Acqua di Gio. It didn’t let me down. For me, first smell i got was sugar, then jasmine, and then the peonies! Lemon was just passing by and gone in a minute. I love how mint, jasmine and peony mixed. Mint made flowers smells fresh, its like a feeling of mornings with dew in a blooming jasmine/peony garden.

Fresh, clean, citrusy, slightly salty and slightly masculine. Sweetens up a bit with time. Perfect to spray on just out of the shower, especially in warm weather. My wrist is basically glued to my nose. Amazing.

Literally on me smells like a cold mojito cocktail with a touch of white florals. Fresh, light and gorgeous. Having said that, longevity and projection are really good! Plus the cute bottle.
My summer hot days no1 choice! Looove it.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – lemon + mint + sugar + pepper
    Drydown – jasmine + peony + sugar + cedar
    Duration – 8-12 hours
    Projection – moderate
Experiences – In colder weather, I find the lemon a bit sharp in the opening, but the peony is more noticeable in the drydown. In hotter weather (80°F+), my body amplifies the jasmine and brings that to the forefront in the drydown.
Quick Thoughts – feminine, fresh, sweet, floral, citrus
Short Story – Wore this to an outdoor concert recently. Temperature was 93°F, but it felt like 100°F+ with the humidity. The hot weather was certainly testing the power (or lack thereof) of everyone’s deodorants that evening. I was so glad to be wearing this fragrance. Every time there was a breeze I could catch my beloved Acqua di Gioia in the air over the smell of all the sweaty bodies. Thank heaven for breezes and Acqua di Gioia!

I bought this fragrance in winter, in Wisconsin, and thought I’d made a horrible mistake. It had a sour heaviness to it that reminded me of morning breath, and I couldn’t get past that to appreciate the fragrance itself. Luckily, I put it aside to try again when there wasn’t a blanket of snow and ice everywhere, because this perfume really shines in warmer weather.
Now, with summer heat and humidity, I can appreciate the mint and citrus in this fragrance, and the sour note that bothered me isn’t nearly as noticeable. This reminds me of mojitos on the beach, with mint muddled in sugar and a squeeze of lime, and something aquatic holding it all together. I enjoy the cool and playful vibe this scent lends to my day, and I’m definitely glad I gave this scent a second chance.
The only criticism I have is that this scent doesn’t last long on my skin. I can spray heavily enough to risk everyone’s olfactory displeasure, and it lasts approximately two hours or so. Someone suggested keeping this fragrance in the refrigerator, which would make frequent reapplication a pleasantly cool treat and turn this critican into a compliment. I’ll have to try that.

I really did like it, unfortunately it gave me a rash!

Soft and fresh, like a cool ocean breeze. And gone on the the skin as quickly as that breeze blows by. So sad. If it lasted longer than an hour it might be a nice beach day scent. But since no one brings perfume to the beach, it really was useless in the end…

Clean and modern. Not my favorite but I like it. My boyfriend loves it.

Delicious, it has sort of a Mojito vibe, but it never gets TOO sweet. Not tropical, not candy-like, just the simple sweetness of citrus, mint and sugar with some light florals. If you’ve ever seen the original commercial for this (with model Emily DiDonato), it’s a great translation of what wearing this fragrance feels like.
I can’t remember exactly what sillage and lasting power were like as I used up my bottle a long time ago, but if memory serves me it wasn’t a sillage monster. Just barely there. Would absolutely repurchase.

Lovely airy, green and fresh scent! Jasmine and mint smells clearly and sugar gives a little bit sweetness.
Somehow I found licorice like note in most of green fragrances, and this doesn’t make exception. Well, that doesn’t bother me, because I love licorice 😀

This is epitome of beach lifestyle. It blends perfectly with the fresh breeze and bright sunshine in July on the beach, complements the fresh aroma of salty, heated skin.
I can feel mostly mint, sweetened by sugar. So delicious aroma and a bit tangy, like drinking mojito on the beach as the sun goes down. No tension, no worries. Perfect summer vacation in a bottle.
I wear this fragrance every time I want to feel young, carefree and sexy.

I have yet to meet an Armani perfume I dislike, however from the many I tried, this is by far my favourite. It’s light, perfect for summer, very feminine and not overpowering, yet the scent lasts for a very long time. I can definitely feel and smell the inspiration, the atmosphere of the islands of Pantelleria and Antigua, which is the point. It delivers what it promised, and the perfume develops nicely on my skin.

A fresh scent with a subtle sweetness and zing! Perfect for laid-back summer/spring days with long-lasting power. Imagine sitting on a sandy beach on a hot summers day with a light breeze in the air and a mojito in hand. This is the image that this scent conjures up for me. An everyday fresh scent but with depth and dimension!

Smells so pretty and womanly. You will definitely be noticed wearing this. It last for hours and ppl will smell you coming. Just be careful not to spray too much because it can be a lot.

HUGE disappointment. I was excited to try this because of the mint and jasmine, both of which I love. Personally, I don’t get mint at all. When I sprayed it on, all of could think about was being a child and spraying on cheap dimestore perfume. It actually makes my nose burn. I gave it an hour or so, and nothing seemed to develop. Finally, I washed it off.
    Definitely try before you buy!

Bitter and green, has a good projection. The beautiful advertising fits perfectly the mood of this fragrance: a rainny summer day.
High quality daytime fragrance, but too expensive for an everyday scent. It’s fresh yet really powerfull. I just can wear it in a rollerball version to avoid headache.

Nice, fresh and clean, very modern… By no means a perfume revolution, but you can’t do much wrong here. Suitable for any woman of any age at any situation.

Definitely something you’d wear on a boat. Something so sea-breezy about it.

a-HA! I have smelled this a million times on people when out and about. So this is what it is! “Aquatic splash of 90’s shower fresh clean breeze melon sugared mojito” certainly isn’t as catchy of a name as Acqua di Gioia, so it’s a good thing I don’t work for Armani. It’s nice though.

I have had this fragrance for several years but I have neglected it because I’m not too much into fresh scents. Lately I have been more interested in this category with my signature scent being Eros pour Femme. I find some similarities especially in the dry down. Going to have some fun this winter switching it up not minding the seasons.

I fell in love with this scent against my initial belief that I would not like it. It’s the drydown that has me intoxicated. It’s soft and round and wholesome. Until then, it is lovely but can have a bit of a bitter quality to it.
ETA: it lasts forever on me.

I don’t like it.. I think it’s not fresh enough for me and it’s smell bitter. I prefer acqua di gio for men over
