All the critics, be gone, before someone drops a niche dud on you. The $200-350 bottles of whAtever all have a dry down thigamajiggy too. Boo hoo. Who wants powder at $300? It’s all chemicals and science. Get real. Non niche march on!

I bought a 30ml gift set, original , platinum and gold. I get very poor performance from 10sprays ,stays pretty much rose dominant it’s full course, actually get a smoky smell when I sniff at skin. I feel let down but for £14 I won’t grumble. And I do love the gold version which projects and lasts and to my nose is a much more rounded frag.

amazing fragrance , lasts all day , great value for money …. but don’t spray more than once else you are surely gonna have headache (actually you don’t ned to spray more than once it lasts all day long )
    for me its 10/10 .

A cross between Xerjoffs More than Words and Manceras Roses Vanille. More wearable for a man than both those IMHO and great longevity to boot. For the price it’s a no brainer.

Prefer this one to Gold version, it is more dry-woody-oudy. Kind of Montale -synthetic ouds style, nod to Arabic style of perfumes. Has pleasant sweetness, not overly rose-y as well. Lasting power is very good, would be more appreciated by public, if would cost like Montale, but due to low price it is usually dismissed by snobs. Their loss.

I am selling mine on eBay if anyone interested. I got too many fragrances and not a big fan of this.

The orange in this remiinds me of boss bottled intense and its a note that i dont like at all, once that fades away it turns into a flowery scent that is ok but not my kind of thing really. The base is where this one is more likeable to me with vanilla . i think this is an ok scent and not as outstanding as the gold which has the wow factor. 6/10.

There is a reason a Platinum Trophy is above Gold and this juice proves it.

I had it . its very long lasting to me and my friend also love and like it too, smells so pretty good rose and agarwood blended so perfect .
    Really love this one

Beautiful rose fragrance i can’t believe i got 100ml bottle for less than £20 the quality and blend of this juice it’s truly mind blowing. How is this possible this smells very very expensive niche quality trust me I’ve sampled lots but can’t justify spending so much. Try. This. You’ll be truly amazed.
    Ps
I’ve bought 2 backup bottles it’s stunningly good.

Nice scent sweet and fresh what I get,
And somehow I feel it similiar vibe with Angel Schlesser Essential for men, but more powerfull of course.
Still great fragrance from scentstory house, 8/10.

This smells like a combination of Montale Red Aoud, Intense Café and Mancera The Aoud. You get the smooth and sensual rose/vanilla combo from Red Aoud, but you also get that strange alcohol note from Intense Café. I can’t describe what alcohol this smells like because I don’t drink much but it’snot the usual boozy whiskey/vanilla essence type of vibe that you usually get in scents like Amber Absolute/Pure Malt/Bentley Intense etc, it’s more like a pure alcohol type of smell, like when a fragrance opens up but without that sharp initial sting to it, that’s the Intense Café vibe and then the oud note reminds me of Mancera The Aoud because of the smooth but kind of lightly fecal quality that I personally get with some Mancera oud frags, especially Mancera The Aoud.
It also has this stale, damp quality to it which isn’t nice. Kind of reminds you of an old damp pot washing sponge but not quite, this may be coming from the oud but not quite sure. There is also a slight medicinal vibe from the oyd which may also contribute to that sharp alcohol smell.
Nowhere near as good as 24 gold, but definitely worth checking out. Performance seems more than enough for any normal person so I’d say if you want a decent rose/oud combo for cheap, check this out. Definitely underpriced especially if you like this type of fragrance but it’s personally not my thing.

    I agree completely with 1welshdevil.
A very decent fragrance for a bargain price.
It may be a bit synthetic but has amazing longevity and projection, without being overpowering.
In the UK the 24 ranges can be bought for a bargain yet in other countries sells at premium prices.

At first I thought what a great scent but now I get a headache. It smells of high synthetic flowers with a hint of vanilla. Exact as air wick scented oils plug in air freshener. What a waste of money.

  16. :

    5 out of 5

I get a lot of rose, and a blend of musk and smooth sandalwood. I think this fragrance is absolutely fantastic for the price, it’s wonderfully powdery, in a good way, it lasts ages and projects very well. It’s just great, the whole 24 collection is well worth owning, all so different, each bringing something to the party. Get this one and the Gold.

After purchasing 24 gold which is an absolute masterpiece I figured I would try out the 24 platinum with high hopes that it would impress me just as much.. And Did it ever!! At first I got a very strong alcoholic type of smell which slowly turns into this beautiful rose woody scent which projects about 4-5 feet away and has nuclear projection of about 8-12hrs. Scentstory has clearly did it again with this beautiful fragrance that is so unique with a pricetag that can’t be beat! I still would say 24 gold is better IMHO butttttttt that’s because it is on my top 5 of all time.
    Projection – 8/10
    Longevity – 8/10
    Sillage – 8/10

This works better for me than 24 gold, with gold I get jam and sweat, with platinum I get oud and raspberries, a potent show stopping, head turning fragrance, that gets you noticed. Huge silage and longevity. I hope as others have mentioned that it is not discontinued, as I think i will have a place for this gem in my scent wardrobe, for a long time to come

Marks and Spencer now do a Autograph Noir Homme that is a weaker less refined version of this but is about 80% of what 24 Platinum smells like.
This is a great fragrance and the price is even more fabulous

The first 30 minutes of this make you smell as if you have done some heavy drinking and during this time it’s not very unisex at all, more on the male side. Needless to say, I wasn’t too thrilled the first time I smelled it. That was before I knew how if should evolve. And did it evolve! To my nose and on me, I’m a woman, after the first half hour it slowly turned into a gorgeous creamy, sweet bodylotion kind of scent, albeit much stronger (this baby needs to be sprayed with self-control otherwise it get’s too strong, sharp and synthetic). The funny thing is, It smells completely different on my husband. No bodylotion smell at all. On him it turns all wood/oud and vanilla in the best possible way. Decent longevity and very nice sillage.
EDIT, Yes there are some minor similarities to Montale Red Aoud, one of my all time favourites, but only minor and only in the far drydown.

After enjoying the sweet 24 Gold and Gold Oud pair, I was eager to try Platinum. First, the comparisons to Montale Red Aoud are valid, but they neglect the vanilla and rose that round out Platinum, which is both spicy and sweet. Galbanum is the many source of the spiciness, I’m guessing, and the citrus aspects add some sharpness. Still, this is much softer and slightly more powdery than Red Aoud, coming off even fruity at times with the juniper berries.
While not the gourmand tour de force of Gold (or similarly, Gold Oud), Platinum is a fascinating combination that might prove more appealing for those that find Red Aoud to be a bit too spicy, or for those in general that prefer spicier fragrances to be tempered by other (sweet, fruity, powdery) elements. If it were slightly better I might consider buying it, as it does at least follow suit with Gold and Gold Oud’s strength.

ohh, how i really love that so many peoples are hating this fragrance.. because i simply in love with it..
with so many people are hating it, then it means that this fragrance won’t become like Dior Homme or any other hyped frgrance that i loved onced, but not anymore due to so many people using it..
    Cheerio!!

Did anyone notice the prices on this go up recently? It’s not discontinued it can be bought from scent story’s website. It went from cheap to Dior/ Chanel wannabe prices…
Anyway it’s a great scent. I love it..

I like this one better than 24 Gold, to me, that one was too sweet. Anyway, why is Oud not listed in the notes?

  26. :

    4 out of 5

A very sweet, rose perfume. It is not a manly frag, a bit too sweet. Though i like the juice but i can’t rate it as high as 24 gold. It really smells like Gucci Envy Me(for women).
    Rating: 8/10.

a nice flowery/powdery/sugary scent totally different to the rest of the 24 range.on drydown very bubblegum
warning dont put too much on can be overpowering
not really my thing but i have only received today so more time is needed for a full assessment

Unfortunately this scent doesn’t agree with me. I think its the combo of Vanilla and Rose that makes me nauseous. I like Gold very much, just that this seems like a step down from that product. It doesn’t have the expensive niche quality like Gold. Just my honest take on it.

  29. :

Smells like a raspberry version of Bogart Silver Scent. It’s pretty average.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

too much rose and a vague hint of lager, not a great combo in my book! This cannot be carried off by a men in that same sadi book!

  31. :

    4 out of 5

What an underrated fragrance! This is the one that made me “get” rose outside of the typical old lady context. This is a sweet, musky rose that is simultaneously thick and transparent. It opens up strangely boozy to me, but it doesnt smell like any alcoholic beverage I’ve ever had. Imagine a rare wine made out of rose, sugar and amber. Its hard to explain but the quality is super impressive for the price point. The dry down loses the boozy quality and it becomes a cold powdery rose with subtle masculine nuances preventing it from falling into the overly feminine cosmetic purgatory of lots of powders. Longevity is pretty great, sillage is average. It’s an amazing value and it might help change your mind about rose as a note! This smells ten times more expensive than it is. 8/10

  32. :

    3 out of 5

I like this fragrance a lot but sometimes find that it is sharp and ticklish to my nose – the rose, juniper and gurjan balm seem to do that – and there is a bit of a powder puff into your face too. I was looking for something to anchor and round it off (i.e. make it less dry and tickly to my nose) and today applied some Nabeel Touch Me oil before the 24 Platinum. They really work well together and I feel it makes the fragrance stick around for longer. So if you have any attars or oud oils in that general direction and you are not happy with 24 Platinum’s perfomance, give layering a try.

This stuff could easily be marketed by Tom Ford or Clive Christian and sold for $300 or more. It is excellent in its blending and smell. The longevity and projection seem to be above average. The smell is like nothing I have smelled before though. It literally smell like class to me. The way the rose, vanilla, and musk blend is just addictive. It leads to a creamy, subtle rose. This is definitely unisex though so if you are looking for a manly man scent stay away. This is not T shirt stuff. Suited and booted only. As always test before buying because opinions are subjective. Although Gold is good Platinum is better.

Hi everyone.I think when you read the 3-4 first comments talking of the ambiguity of the scent, you are just getting acquainted with the metallic quality of the perfume. It does smell of metal (platinum). When I was buying it,I had told the shopkeeper to bring me something of the Lui Rochas class. He said he knew nothing about it;when I told him about the tobacco and chocolate aroma, he quickly darted to 24 platinum stand and let me test it.And as if he was conscience-stricken that I would miss it walked away from me so I would be compelled to get it.It has been my classiest and most useful perfume ever!!!!!I’m willing to chat on this in priv messages!!! 🙂

I’m not usually a fan of rose scents but this is an exception. I bought this blind as i found it discounted so i thought why not its cheap.
It starts with a powerful rose which i didn’t like (found it quite old ladyish) with a hint of citrus. But the drydown omg! There is just a faint sense of rose but a lovely creamy yet slightly smokey vanilla with a hint of sandalwood drifting in and out. I wore it to work today and instantly got asked what i was wearing by a guy at work then at lunchtime a female colleague said i was smelling divine. It is now 13 n a bit hours since i applied this and i can still smell it, longevity is incredible!
Defiantly worth a buy (even blind) because of the price you can’t go wrong. (I got it for £15)!
To those who can smell oud, there is an oud version available so you may of tried that by mistake because the bottle looks the same.

  38. :

I’m so confused by this fragrance. From the bottle, I can almost smell nothing. I get fleeting rose, sharp citrus. It is confusing to my brain! There is something about this that literally makes it invisible to my nose. But then, it smells almost like I have spilled a drink all over me. Very very alcoholic – uncomfortable almost. A little while later it almost smells like a rose that is on fire. Deep, spicy and smoky. I don’t know what to make of it, but am sort of shocked at how well received this is by everyone. To me this seems highly subjective, and compared to Gold, I am just not sure this is something I can wear.
Update: I eat my words. This stuff is quite something. I still can’t smell it as much as I would hope to, but wow, it’s beautiful. My opinion has done a complete 360.

Just got this today in the mail
    First impressions i love it!
I actually get montale intense cafe with a sweeter note toward the end I’m waiting on longevity but initially another diamond by sentstory wow there a damn solid house 8.5/10 so far 2 hrs in!

So I’ve recently developed an addiction to fragrances and I was so stoked when I saw this particular beauty and read such amazing reviews about it. I actually ordered both Gold and Platinum and I was like a kid on Christmas Day when I got them in the mail. This is definitely powdery and musky which I love. If you don’t take to those two attributes at all, I’d advise that you stay away from this one. It is pretty powerful too, which is great for the pricepoint.
I work in retail and so I think it’s very important to smell amazing as I meet so many different people on a day to day basis. I wore this frag for the first time today and it was…well…I’ll just say it wasn’t horrible. Two different people asked if I could smell alcohol. One person said It smelled like the day after a night of partying (when all of the alcohol slowly seeps out through your pores). Despite the two comments, I LOVE this one. It has to be one of my favorites and I’m gonna wear the heck out of it!

The more I wear this, the more I LOVE it! Very gorgeous fragrance that I must admit that I’m completely taken by surprise by. Very much reminds me of Montale Aoud Red in my aspects but it also has some interesting little nuances that clearly differentiates it. For one, the juniper note adds a subtle but clear distinctiveness that I totally LOVE. Considering it was less than half the price of Aoud Red, I have to say that it wins hands down on value — especially since it comes across as being a very solid high quality fragrance. Starting to see Scent Story fragrances as being totally worthy of my loyalty. This is the second Scent Story fragrances that I’ve been smitten with this past year– the first one being 24 Gold. And I simply can’t believe that there’s no Agarwood listed in the notes of 24 Platinum. It’s more “aoud-y” than many Aoud based fragrances currently out there! Gonna give myself a couple blasts of this 24 Platinum beauty and fall to sleep engulfed by it’s gorgeously blended notes!
Sillage is moderate-heavy; Longevity is 6-8 hrs on me.

Completely different from the usual fare. A good collection to have. Really nice fragrance, unexpected and feels royal

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Wow, wasn’t expecting this to be so nice. You’d swear this was a popular designer fragrance on how good it smells. This is a totally different scent from 24 Gold, which is still nice, but I prefer 24 Platinum to 24 Gold. 24 Platinum is sexy stuff indeed and smells more expensive than it is. Go get yourself a bottle of this under the radar gem before it becomes hard to find.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

Really do enjoy this fragrences this house does not disappoint… not a big fan of rose but this is Mmm,feel like a wild animal with it on.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Just as I was thinking 24 Gold must have been a rare freak occurrence an absolute gem of a fragrance which stood out head and shoulders above anything in its price range…I got my nose on this.
Another blind buy on the strength of 24 Gold might I add and I never expected it to be as good but Scent story have done it again an absolutely superb fragrance which smells so high end niche it’s ridiculous.
I also mirror the comment below…How is there not Oud in this???
EVERYBODY!!! IN MY HUMBLE OPINION THIS SMELLS MORE DEFINITIVELY OF OUD THAN 80% OF FRAGRANCES RELEASED WITH OUD IN THE NAME.
Strong Oud was the thing I smelled and in abundance right away…super ambery (more so even than Gold) thick, opulent, princely aroma. The rose makes this deep, complex and to me more than a little reminiscent of classic rose/Oud combos but with the vanilla which brings it into a new creamier realm. The fruitiness stays long into the dry down giving this fragrance yet more dimensions which smooth but spicy balsam and resin notes too.
Needless to say I’m mega impressed by this fragrance and yet again the 24 range has a winner and a world beating scent in 24 Platinum.
    Stunning!
Longevity and projection are monstrous much like Gold.
If three fragrances I loved had a child it would be 24 platinum and the contributors are Armani prive myrrhe imperiale
    By Killian Incense Oud
    Scent story 24 Gold
    Praise indeed!

  47. :

    3 out of 5

I would swear that this has oud in it, or at least a note that resembles it (maybe the musk and sandalwood). I like this one very much, very pleasant, mostly woody, some rose, with a bit of vanilla.

  48. :

    3 out of 5

Would be nice if it wasn’t for the mega dose of rosé they put in this. Way to much rose. Now normally I would never complain about longevity but this thing on my skin last about 18 hours and can withstand a 15 minute shower. That’s not a good thing on a fragrance you don’t like.

  49. :

My skin gives me Dana Tabu when I wear Platinum 24.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

So I wrote this great review and it disappeared. So let me try this again….
Much like its counterpart Gold, 24 Platinum is sweet. But let me start by saying this isn’t sweet in the vein of Blue Sugar/Pink Sugar it is sweet in the vein of Kilian Love and New Haarlem. It never becomes overbearing from a sweet perspective but for those who like sweet fragrances this is an immediate try.
Now I need you (after you read this awesome review) to go to Scent Story dot com or Facebook and find 24 The Fragrance (a page) and DEMAND them to get this to the states!!!!! That means that many of you reading this review will not get a chance to smell it, so let me build your anticipation. I ended up getting this from the U.K (a decant) from my Fragrance Friend and a top notch reviewer Mastersofstyle.
This opens up with a candied rose, sweet but think of Noir de Noir or Westside not really sugary. I think this is due to the vanilla not really being in the base but even in the opening. Given the top notes from here you would think it would be citrusy…but there is no need to worry. The citruses here only add to the candied/sweet effect with the juniper berries, rose and vanilla.
This goes on for about 10 minutes or so..until Mr. Creamy himself (sandlewood) joins the party. The fragrance immediately begins to transition to a creamy/woody/candied rose fragrance and then as this transition is unfolding the resin kicks in. This resin gives it a balmy..danky..thickness and you can almost smell the fragrance transitioning. Now of the two fragrances (Gold and Platinum) Platinum is definitely the more complex of the two; however, that should not detour you from buying Gold..Gold will not satisfy what Platinum is doing and vice versa.
So in the heart of this you have a creamy/balmy/sweet rosey (the rose is in the backgroung but on my skin noticeable and one of the many facets of the fragrance) fragrance and it is sooooo pleasing to the senses. What’s funny is I swear that they have some Oud in this one but I guess it is just the woodsy/balmy components playing with my nose.
As the fragrance transitions to the base this musk kicks in and like a long distance runner it gets new life and new legs (think Lt. Dan from Forrest Gump) and now you feel like you may be wearing something different. The musk is joined with some amber giving it more thickness but it never becomes crowding. The notes play so well together, especially the rose which never really goes away but sort of floats in the air sort of like dust when you can no longer really see it but you feel it.
This is a WONDERFUL fragrance folks and this house has done an outstanding job. 24 should stand for the longevity because that’s what you are going to get. These things are tenacious, relentless, provacative even (much like Mr. Bauer himself)! This is smooth and creamy and sweet and thick and downright fun to wear! This is definitely not an introvert’s fragrance of choice. This is an “I am here” not in a narcissistic way, but definitely in extroverted fashion.
    Longevity= 12+ I stop counting
Projection = Must be moderated with sprays or you will reach out and touch someone.
Sillage= people come find you asking is that you
Scent=Tremendous! especially given the price point.
Go test it, demand it here in the States then buy it!
