Smells sweet at the beginning but dries down to this mildly spicy scent (yet very feminine).
I’ve tried this on my hair too but this way the smell stays more linear. It develops quite well on my skin though! Perfect for the office according to me! Was a risky blind buy but worth it 🙂 got the 100ml version which is actually two 50ml mini bottles. Good size to keep in your bag for top ups 🙂

I just cannot stand pink pepper, which basically means I cannot wear 212 Sexy. This has a LOT of pink pepper.
The vanilla + cotton candy + musk + gardenia is indeed very sexy, but the pink pepper ruins the fragrance for me.
I’m gonna wash it of now because I’m getting a headache.
Just wanted to mention that this is a grown up sweet vanilla fragrance. Nothing girly here.

Yummy. This is a good one. Caution: in the beginning there’s a lot of pink pepper (which bothers me), but thankfully that stage doesn’t last long on my skin. Within a few minutes, this turns into a sweet musky scent that I’ve become quite fond of. It’s a beautiful skin scent, a great one to wear to bed – cozy and cuddly. I don’t think this perfume is sexy per se, but it could be said to be sensual. It does seem to make people wanna come closer to you, there’s not much sillage here but I think that’s the point. I love it, it’s a high quality well-blended fragrance, and long-lasting too.

I didn’t notice the cotton candy or vanilla at all in the first spray. I usually don’t like sweet or gourmand perfumes (although I do love vanilla, when it doesn’t make me smell like a walking sugar cookie), so I’m not sure I would’ve given this a chance had I known.
I’m so glad I did! The citrus and pepper hit first, and the word that came to mind was “refreshing.”
The drydown was really surprising, though. That’s when the vanilla and cotton candy came through, but it was just a hint of sweetness to brighten up the musk and cool off the pepper, as well as add another layer to the florals.
I love vanilla when it’s done like this. Subtle and warm and sultry. This definitely lives up to the Sexy name.
My skin eats fragrance, but this has decent sillage and longevity. Which is so surprising for the price.

This was a blind buy for me. I got a 100ml bottle at 37USD on ebay and reading at the reviews, I thought it was a jackpot but I’m so disappointed. It smells like a cheap cologne. I dont get anything sweet in this. No vanilla either. It doesn’t smell bad. Just didn’t expect it from Carolina Herrera. No lasting power, no sillage, not sexy, nothing special about it. It’s fresh, ok for gym session.

What a surprise! I agree with raiza, the word “sexy” in a perfume usually makes me skeptical, but this one actually is. I should hate it-cotton candy, pepper, and musk? Not for me, or so I thought. The musk is actually nice and clean, the pepper is not too sharp, and the cotton candy is never beers too close to bring sugar territory. All the notes are soft and balanced and this perfume is not sugary like you would expect, it smells delicious and edible but is airy and a little salty, almost like a gourmand version of Hermes Eau de Merveilles. I don’t know if I would buy a full bottle but this would definitely make a great gift or blind buy for any age, it seems like a total crowd pleaser (in a good way).

Normally, when i read “sexy” in a perfume bottle, i get instantly sceptic. It is seldom that the fragrance is really sexy. It is usually just sweet and that is it. With 212 sexy this is not the case. It is really sexy. Almost sexual i would say. I get a very musky fragrance, creamy, with a light floral background. It reminded me of the original 212,but this one is more erotic, if i can say that. It is not vulgar or loud. It is discreet but remarkable. At the dry down, i get a very light powder. It pairs well with the musk.
The only thing i don’t like about this fragrance is a light soapy smell at the heart, but it disappears quickly.
Apart from that, thumbs up for Carolina Herrera!

The splash of citruses and piquant pink pepper open this chapter. It may not sound sexy at first, but if you are willing to wait for a drydown, there comes your reward.
Vanilla hugs the pink pepper note and cotton candy seconds to it. The musk gets very prominent. I don’t get powdery notes at all.
Some may say this doesn’t smell sexy. Well, I can see the point. It doesn’t smell sexy in an obvious seductive way, but it’s more like a provocative offer for a cuddle and who knows what next.

– Fragrance: Beautiful combination.. I just adore this scent! I have not found something similar yet, this pink pepper is just delicious, sexy and sofisticated in my opinion. I feel it is suitable for a romantic date, a meeting at work, a nice dinner out with your friends, etc.
Though it certainly matches winter and autumm better, I feel you can easily pull it off during spring and also on the summernights.

Yes this one IS sexy, if you like your scents with a little power and want something more sophisticated and grown up then the average sweet celebrity fruitchouli then this is for you. Be forewarned, this is MUSKY. It’s very seductive and sensual; all that vanilla, cotton candy and caramel drifting out of the cloud of musk that surrounds me. This one has great silage for sure.

It’s difficult to define 212 Sexy, because everyone has a different idea of what “sexy” is (not to mention what it should smell like). With that being said, I personally think that 212 Sexy TOTALLY smells sexy! Powdery, clean musky fragrances are my favorite and the only type I wear. Why? It reminds me in feel of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme but this doesn’t suffer from poor performance. It also brings to mind a less powdery Jeanne Arthes Private Room. If you’re not a fan of pink pepper, I would still try this… I only get a hint of pepper and only in the very beginning.

So glad I got a tester size of this before blindly buying the bottle. It smells old fashioned and grandma style…nothing sexy about it at all. Way too sharp that it hurts the nose, must be the gardenia. I’m not getting any sweet cotton candy notes bummer.
Edit: this went from a complete hate to a love! It’s crazy I couldn’t stand this before and I’m so glad I gave this perfume a chance and when I did I realized how good it is. It starts off very sharp and that’s what I judged it with negative review, give it time. When it dries down that’s when the sweet and sexy come out. I then notice the cotton candy but not like a little girl sweet, no a sexy sweet. I wore the tester just to finish it and as I wore it more and more I realized that I needed this in my life. This is a perfume that lingers all day which is always what I look for. The muskiness resembles chance chanel the perfume and no it’s not the same just could be in same family. My husband even complimented how much he loved my perfume which is rare because he normally doesn’t do that. So now ordered a 3oz full bottle.

I’ve worn this perfume for a month and I could say now I’m starting to love it! It was a couple version, my husband wears the 212 Sexy for Man and I use the woman version. I love the Man version on my hubby but mine has been waiting in line until I used up my La Vie Est Belle perfume.
CH 212 Sexy For Woman to my nose is a floral-spicy-a lil bit woody perfume. I’m a gourmand lover so I rarely has this kind of scent..and like most of the comments above, it took me a while to get used to it. I smell citruses and roses and sharp spicy on the first spray, then to the flowery notes…and dominant patchouli I think.. then the musky sweetness lasts a very long time (more than 8 hours on my skin). Well I live in a very humid country so these notes are the ones that comes up to me, might be different if I live in a cooler country…
I made a mistake though, I wore this to work once and I felt very dirty lol. It was very inappropriate… It drawns too many attention from men, which is very uncomfortable if you were trying to do your job! Now I only wear this if my husband at home or if I’m going out on a date with him 😀 very sexy scent, leading to very sexy, steamy stuff waiting to happen if ya know what I mean 😉

I honestly don’t know what I’m smelling here, outside of the strong musk, but I like it just the same. Imagine the powdery sweetness of Escada Magnetism mixed with the spice from Chanel Chance…weird, I know, but somehow still enjoyable.
I expected to make the usual La Vie Est Belle comparison (yes, I know this came out years before LVEB-but most people know it), but the sweetness level here is a 2 on a scale of 1-10, LVEB being a 10. Apologies for all of the comparisons!
I admit, it took me a couple of wearings to get used to the musk, but it won me over. I think 212 Sexy can come off as sexy, confident, cuddly or even relaxing, depending on how you’re feeling and what you’re wearing. It lasts 12+ hours on my clothes, but it doesn’t radiate very far. Once again, this is an underrated type of fragrance. Although I don’t think this is unique to my nose, the spiciness and the small hints of vanilla and cotton candy is what gets me into this perfume. The bottle is very unique and gives a futuristic vibe; also reminds me of medications for some reason. The scent is a bit of a ‘meh’ to me, the pink pepper is strong with this one. The musk is also intense from the bottle. I could also smell bergamot in the given notes. vanilla? not so much. Cotton candy? yep. I only use this fragrance whenever I’m on a night-out because of the strong scent. Gives a sexy and wild type of vibe to me. Overall, these are my verdicts:

Slight Peppery opening that seemed to sit very close to the skin before beginning to shine through. I get no Citrus at all. Not that I mind 🙂 For the life of me I could never detect any individual Floral note – but the the overall effect is surprisingly sufficient to keep me interested. I was able to pick the Cotton Candy at random times but Pink Pepper is definitely the dominant note for me.
I was surprised at how quickly this scent shifts to well blended Vanilla Sandalwood. Just as I’m really getting my rocks off on the mid note cacophony – its over 🙁
There is a slight ‘sexy’ feel to this scent.. but its a natural sexiness…no make up, beach hair, tight jeans, frilly top, big smile and a bouncy step. Far from a sultry sexy or a just made love sexy (Boudoir I’m looking at you). With the Cotton Candy element, 212 Sexy could actually be quite girly dull without the right outfit and attitude 😉

The opening of this is VERY soapy. I suppose it’s a combination of the pink pepper (which dominates the opening) and gardenia?? This fragrance takes a while to move from the soapy opening, but once it does it is very pretty. I would not call this a sexy scent by any means. Once this moves out of the soapy phase, it is a sweet floral, with lots of sandalwood and musk. I really enjoy this phase of this fragrance. It’s unfortunate that this phase has poor sillage and longevity. On me this needs to be reapplied within 2-3 hours (then I have to tolerate the opening all over again). Sometimes I run a hairdryer (with a diffuser) on hot over the areas where I applied it; this helps move fragrances out of the opening. I do this with other fragrances that I don’t like the opening of. Too bad I can’t take a hairdryer with me everywhere, lol.

So, is this sexy… well, perhaps in a subtle sort of way, if this works with your skin chemistry and you love pink pepper. 212 begins with a blast of green patchouli and strong pink pepper, that quickly mellows out into softly sweet fairy floss (cotton candy) and smooth sandalwood accompanied by a background of florals. The florals contain something a little bit fruity and musky, and I’m not sure what the fruitiness could indicate here. The pink pepper sometimes reappears during dry-down for an edgy sort of sexiness. I like the soft, feminine spiciness that this note gives the composition, and in my opinion, it totally makes the scent. This would not be the same without it.
I do like how the patchouli disappears very quickly, because it’s not my favourite note, although I will be experimenting with this scent over the passage of time to determine if the patchouli will annoy me in warmer weather. So far I’m enjoying this in the cold.
The overall impression is fresh, sensual and modern, and rather different from other kinds of “everyday” scents, at least in my country (I understand this is very popular in Brazil). So I suppose this depends upon where you live, but despite it’s popularity, it would work really well as a staple perfume. Sillage is moderate; longevity was only for about 4-5 hours.

Which is what i find happens with all carolina harrera fragrances I’ve tried.
I own two of her other fragrances and they also turn into cheap manly smelling scents. Its a big disappointment because judging from the notes you imagine it will smell amazing, but no, i guess the juice is low quality.

This is a fresh, a little sweet (despite the cotton candy, caramel, and vanilla) and extremely sexy perfume. I wear this as an evening perfume. Very smooth with no note completely taking over the composition, although wood and musk become dominant once this perfume drys down. I find it wearable all year, but you will need to adjust the dosage. A warning for you to go easy on the trigger to see how it wears on you, because for me, a little goes a very long way. Very good sillage and longevity. This is an absolute favorite of mine.

She has very good taste and if it wasnt for her i might not have found this treasure. I was getting tired of the same old thing and this is so unique! I have never smelled ANYTHING like this. I dont normally like Pink pepper in perfumes but i LOVE it here. Its perfect….not too spicy but just enough to give it an extra kick! Tested this because of RositaApplebum (youtube) recommnendation, she mentioned this perfume in several of her videos and she has similar taste to me, and since I’ve owned VIP sexy by CH before and liked that a lot, i thought it wouldn’t hurt to go smell this one too.
All I can say is I have fallen head over heels in love with this, it left me literally speechless. It’s the PERFECT mixture of floral, warm, spicy and musky but without being a headache in a bottle. From reading the notes I can distinguish the musk, pepper and vanilla (in that order) on my skin the most. The sandalwood also lends it a slight creamy base when its completely dried down that gives it a luscious and seamless quality. I don’t detect cotton candy so i assume it’s merged with the airy vanilla that I smell in this.
Take my review with a pinch of salt that this is a love or hate fragrance, you have to smell it and test it on your skin to understand it.
This is also probably the most lasting perfume I’ve smelled in a very long time too. This shockingly lasted longer on me than the Armani Prive MI. This forms a nice scent bubble around you that you will get a whiff of every time you turn your head or move your arms. i have washed the jacket i was wearing when I tried this and can still smell a faint trace of it on that jacket. in fact, when I wear the same jacket some of the perfume left on it transfers back to my skin and I can smell it again. This sticks around for a very long time and the price point is fantastic, I’m asking for this on my birthday 🙂

I just bought this after reading the reviews because I wanted to smelly ‘sexy’. Wow is all I can say. It has everything beautifully. Sweet, floral, spicy, musky with no part of the fragrance dominating the other. My skin clearly loves this and on me it is truly sexy and I feel sexy. On me this is a vanilla, musk sandalwood bomb with a subtle hint of flowers. Truly gorgeous.

I went to the perfume store today and was so excited to test this one out. I HATED IT ! Just got my first scent off scentbird, and this is the perfume I chose for this month. I’m definitely liking it as much as I thought I would. It’s fresh, yet sexy, and no one note overwhelms me. I can see myself buying a full bottle, now that I’ve tested it. I imagine I’ll blow through this quarter ounce pretty fast. I’ve bought so many full size bottles, sure I’ll like them, and they just sit. I’m hoping my husband likes 212 Sexy on me, because I can see this being in my rotation.

I love this fragrance! It is my go-to perfume and I have been wearing it for about 5 years now. I always get compliments, it isn’t overpowering. It’s good for daytime but even better for evening. My mother received this for her birthday from a friend and i couldn’t help but try this one out :p I thought “Well, she has a different taste and preferences, perhaps it would be lame”…but what a surprise, i loved it! I told her that I even want to buy a bottle for me. It must be the vanilla and musk that got me. That longevity is so freaking huge, man! Whenever i turn my head from left to right and move around, i feel the smell after hours… And look at that design aswell. 50 mls for both sides. That’s my definition for “woman in a bottle”, it’s not girly and candy-ish: it’s sweet in the feminine way. When i have the opportunity, i must definitely purchase it.
P.s. – here it is, in my collection now, 1-2 months since the upper comment. <3 I’m definitely enjoying it. Such seduction, such sensation of sexyness, so smooth and soft. Oh wow, this fragrance is all about that “S” 😀 I think every woman must have “212 sexy” at least once in a lifetime.

THIS is what Pink Sugar Sensual should smell like! Definitely a sexier, grown up version of cotton candy deliciousness. At first I felt a cinnamon-ish vibe to it which actually appealed to me (although cinnamon isn’t a note that’s what it reminded me of). I guess that’s the slight spiciness. Then later that settles and I get the vanilla and flower notes. I don’t really feel much citrusy stuff in it. If you ask me this is just an average perfume, no wow-effect.

I’m sorry. I just can’t do this one. My skin turns it into something sticky, overly sweet and cloying. The only notes that I detect are cotton candy and synthetic flowers. Lasting power -for my misfortune- is huge. It is the first time I have to scrub a perfume off. Anyway, the smell on other people is good… I wouldn’t say lovely… but just ok.

Whoa, I do like this, just not sure if I love it. Sweet, sexy, nice sillage and longevity was a pleasant surprise. I just received today and I definitely do not regret the buy (it was a blind buy) just not sure it really stands out enough to me to buy another bottle were I to use all of this.
I LOVE the sweet notes, it has a little bit of a peppery kick but it’s not biting or burnt at all, it does really flow. Some candy, some vanilla, I do keep smelling my wrist, I could definitely see this growing on me. Best sprayed with a VERY light hand.

This is a fragrance for an assertive, confident and sexy woman. This is my go-to when I’m feeling bold, sexy and fierce. It’s strong but has so many dimensions. My aunt gave it to me when I was 18 and even back then, it made me feel strong and independent. An alpha female scent.
