At first application I got all cherry robitussin. Later dried down to sea salt, rose, and old fashioned Johnson & Johnson strawberry shampoo. Not for me, but definitely a unique rose.

The only perfume that has made me feel very uncomfortable and sad. Please excuse the description, I am trying to be honest in my reviews; plus I have given this a good test a few times and kept in for a few months just to see if my feelings will change. No. It always reminded me of a sad funeral, where the smell of the roses is mixed with sorrow and decay. Literally the only perfume I had to scrub off every time I wore it because of the sadness it filled me with.
Sophia Grojsman still remains a legendary perfumer for me though

It basically smells, to me, like I’ve smeared a fruity-sweet candy bar on my arm. The strongest scent I get is sweet milk chocolate; followed by fruit sugars. The musk does come up and soften things a bit, but it never became an enjoyable scent.

There are a couple moments of nice full bodied rose and sugar and then it fades to the powderiest rose ever with a chocolate undertone. While it’s not the first think I think of or overpowering I can see where the people mentioning vomit are coming from. I’ve only had it on for less than an hour and I don’t think it’s horrible but I’m putting another decant in my bag just in case.
That second decant wasn’t needed. The drydown is actually kind of amazing. Powdery and salty and slightly incense-like. It is everything I am loving for this summer. I’m thinking that this is very body chemistry dependent and if you’re someone who the first hour is good for this scent is amazing. On me it’s just OK

100% Love somehow reminds me of a cousin of Viktoria Minya’s Hedonist. Unlike Hedonist, 100 % Love opens with sour fermenting fruit and chocolate. After a few minutes, it becomes a soft fruity, soapy floral. In the drydown, It settles down into a soft sweet fruity floral with just a bit of the sourness still detectable. While I would never need to own this scent, it does improve quite a bit as it dries down. I would recommend sampling this one before purchasing. It is very different.

yes I bought this one after Luca Turin raved about it and gave it 5 stars….no,no! The chocolate in this gave me headaches and made me quite sick to my stomach….but it was packaged as the white bottle at the time (about 7 years ago)which shows on this site as made by VAPO and has different ingredients. These ingredients above would have been what was in the white bottle. Dislike for me!

Take 1 cup of mixed red berries add 1/2 greek yogurt, dash of cocoa, a bit of vanilla and mix it with some rose water. Well, that is how this scent smells to me. Like a smoothie with some sour and floral notes. Nothing rotten here, just a bit acidic. In the dry down you are left with a generous dose of musk. Very interesting scent, I never tried anything like it before. Thanks to my dear Gypsy Parfumista for the partial bottle 🙂

Not sure what all of you are talking about: this thing is euphoric! A big, fresh, fruity rose on a stark background of hot chocolate. For once it’s exactly what it says in the list materials, done with a giddy panache typical of it’s awesome creator, Sophia Grojsman. It’s an intense, swirling confection, that even reminds me intermittently of beer or freshly baked bread. This is not for everyone, as the rather offensive review section here proves. But if you’re feeling tempestuous, romantic and joyful, this was made for you. 5/5

I first tested 100% love a few years ago. It smelt strange and nasty, no love at all. Recently I found a sample spray and tested it again. It is less strange and definitely not nasty, possibly because my sense of smell has grown sophisticated and I have better understanding and tolerance. Instead, it smells like 99% dark chocolate, dry and bitter. Its rosy edge only comes out after 30 minutes, then it settles on skin.
Quite a serious scent, surely not everybody’s taste. I cannot say I am a fan but I appreciate its quality.

this reminds me of cheap lip gloss. I felt ridiculous wearing it. There are occasional flashes of something much nicer underneath, but the overwhelming berry-vomit means I had to wash it off. I can’t be bothered to give this a few tries – I could be wearing something much nicer and life is short. Clearly this is a bit of a challenging love-it-or-hate-it fragrance, not one of the easy scents designed to please the masses. As one of the masses, i of course love an awful lot of those scents–but I love this one, too. It took me a little time to appreciate it as much as I do now, and I would not recommend this as a safe blind buy–but after I’d used up my sample, I haunted EBay for a full year with an eye out for a deal on this scent. The first time I smelled it I got simply chocolate and raspberries, it took a few tries for my nose to be able to pick out the rose and musk, but now that they are clear to me I no longer catch anywhere near as much berry note. The chocolate in 100% Love is dark, bittersweet, perhaps brushed with sea salt, a grown up gourmand more than milky confectionary. I thought the raspberry complemented it nicely, and it blends incredibly with the rose and musk. I will confess this can be a bit of a weird scent, with a mustiness that keeps it from being too sweet. It’s not one I wear very often, the mood has to be just right and so does the weather–but when everything comes together just right, this fragrance is magical. This is a cold weather and/or rainy day scent, but in my opinion would be overwhelming to the point of unpleasantness on a warmer day. I think it’s the musk, which lends this a real animalic undertone that, embraced by the chocolate, could become almost sour and smothering on a hot day. But then I’m also surprised by the comments on how light the sillage is on this, because I experience 100% Love as a real powerhouse, with enduring longevity to boot.

I really thought I would love this perfume for some reason– I had heard it described as “chocolate rose” which sounded pretty good to me. I must say, I do not get that description at all or smell that description either.
I think this is a very interesting and evocative perfume– unfortunately for me it is evocative mostly of being incredibly hungover on raspberry vodka shots and all the activites that entails. It has a really sour, acidic berry note I can’t quite get past to enjoy any other part of it. The cocoa note too is weird and sour to me, not particularly chocolate but more like a bar of Hersheys chocolate that was burned, foil wrapper and all in the microwave.
It’s an interesting smell but not, to me, a good one.

Very, very surprised that this is a Sophia Grojsman perfume. Seriously: this came from the same mind that gave us Tresor, Paris, and White Linen?
100% Love is just twisted. It opens with a chocolate-banana that reminds me of scratch ‘n’ sniff stickers, and then shows a weird floral that I finally decided was a sort of fermented rose. Then, if I smell my wrist long enough, say 10 seconds, to get past the rose funk, it smells to me of something toasted and warm, like salted butter browning in a pan, or like toffee. I”m going to go with toffee, because the chocolate gourmand edge is still there.
I like 100% Love. I bought a sample on Surrender to Chance and I might go back for a 5 mL roll-on, because I like to wear a perfume on my wrist that isn’t the same as the main one that I spray on for everyone to smell. I like to sniff my private scent discreetly and think about it through the course of my day. 100% Love is perfect for that.

100% Love smells kind of weird. There’s no other way to describe it really. One part of me likes the fact that it’s unique, the other half tries to persuade me to wash it off.
This fragrance opens smelling exactly like a packet of raspberry bullets. In the initial stages it gives the impression that 100% Love will develop into a delectable gourmand. Unfortunately the berry notes tend to grate on your nerves after awhile, and that’s where those ‘berry vomit’ references come in.
The most dominant notes on my skin are rose, sugared berries, dark chocolate, incense and dirty musk. The musky and smoky drydown is rather confusing to my senses. It takes a lot of the sweetness out of the composition, leaving behind a somewhat dusty, stale chocolate aroma.
I am pleased to have tried 100% Love, as it was something that had intrigued me for quite some time. It didn’t work for me, but I’m sure it has its fans. I had absolutely no issues with the longevity or sillage. 100% Love lasted approximately eight hours on my skin, and has managed to cling to my jacket for almost four days.
It’s a crazy fragrance, you have been warned, but a fascinating one at that. 100% Love is a scent you almost feel compelled to try, especially if testing unique and/or niche fragrances are your passion.

I’m sorry to be so harsh but you know that acidly sweet smell vomit can have to it? That’s what this reminds me of. I placed some on only one wrist (thank goodness) and I couldn’t wash it off fast enough. My stomach tightened and I could feel acids creeping up into my throat. I have never had such a reaction to a fragrance before. It is now in the waste basket. Thank goodness we have the option of purchasing samples without the risk of buying an entire bottle.

This is a very dificult perfume, I never had such a horrible reaction to a perfume, it’s strong and acid berries, I wait for a few minutes for the drydown, but it becomes a little better. Don’t like it at all.

Apparently, A Lab On Fire sells this perfume and calls it Rose Rebelle. Parent company and perfume naming issue aside, this is one strange cookie.
there’s something a little dark and hard to wear about this perfume. For some reason, the “cocoa” turns to something akin to leather on me; leather being a difficult note for me to wear. I can’t put my finger on it but the rose tones it down ever so slightly and in such a pretty way, that I’m enjoying the experience of wearing it and seeing its evolution. very evocative. i’m a little infatuated with it, actually. very very not for everyone…

ok. basically when i first smelled this from the bottle i 100% agreed with the ‘berry vomit’ descriptions and such…but! i was in the mood to try something sweet smelling and i thought i would go ahead and finally try and put this on and seriously its kinda nice. It in no way made me nauseated or horrified which i somewhat expected.
There are times when the berry comes on a little too strong but i really like the tartness and the chocolate and musk and whatever florals are in here are surprisingly nice and smelling quite yummy.
I cant really imagine this being an everyday type scent but what i have been passing as something that would probably be best suited for a stripper…well not only and im re-thinking it but im kinda into this!

I perked up with interest the first time I smelled this. It was very sweet in an unusual way so I thought I really liked it. But after more sniffs, I realized it was too much, too exaggerated, and I would tire of it quickly, but I still thought I liked it a whole lot.
Then I came here and read about the overripe fruit, fruit vomit, etc, and suddenly, that’s all I could see it for. Not that I am always that easily influenced…I actually like to stick to my opinions, but in this case, I think there is quite a bit of truth to those comments. Apart from the rotting fruit, there is a little rose, a little chocolate, and a little bit of woods.
It really is different, so I’m glad to have experienced it, but I would never wear this. I’m done with it. I am not surprised there are enough people loving this, because I almost went down that path myself. This is a fragrance I would want to stick under people’s noses and ask, “What do you think, what do you think?” I am also quite curious what I would think if I smelled this on another person.

Is this meant to be experimental/supercilious as in Secretions Magnifiques? It’s part of the S-Perfume condom-covered line. Is it meant to refer to some aspect of sex (that apparently I’ve never experienced)?
I’m vaguely perplexed, but it smells so awful that I have no interest in returning to the scene of the crime and getting to the bottom of it.

The fruit is the main scent here, and it’s musty and nasty. Dusty fruit, maybe even rotting, there’s just a disgusting scent there. This also projects a very sharp, very artificial note off my skin, this is not good. I think I would have to agree with the others who have said this – it smells like fruit vomit.
Breathing closely and deeply I can just catch the hint of a delicious dark chocolate, but it is covered up by those horrible notes. I am honestly not sure I would be able to recognize it as there if I didn’t know it was supposed to be.
A few minutes later the fruit vomit is still the top note, but underneath it is smoky and musky with the chocolate base. I like this, except for the fruit. The smoky part I think would make a good incense.
So, overall, this is a dislike for me.

I get roses everywhere! WOW!
There is a green element there because of it upon intial application, along with some fruitiness. It’s quite beautiful.
Then that fades, and VERY quickly. Sadly so! It was actually the best part for me. The dydown is warm with only minimal hints of chocolate. It hangs very close to the skin and doesn’t have good projection. If you want it noticed you might have to spray twice as much.
I’m glad I tested it, but I would not go out of my way for a full bottle. I spent $5 on a 1ml sample vial just to kill the curiosity. That was enough for me.

Admittedly, Sophia Grojsman has created some of my favorite- and over the top- YSL scents: Paris, Parisienne, & Yvresse. The combination of juicy fruit and bold florals works marvelously in all these. Similarly, Kenzo’s Kashaya is a beguiling scent with the tropical underpinnings see in Yvresse and Christian LaCroix original. Her Nude by Bill Blass (which only gives the illusion of restraint implied by its name and packaging), is actually a sensual, warm, tossled nude- not the austere and sheer curtain we see in recent releases. Grojsman has also created some of the more unsmiling fragrances out there: the polite Eternity, the wealthy Spellbound, the conservative White Linen, the scowling Beautiful, and the grandmotherly White Diamonds. While these may not be to my taste, they are to many, and Grojsman knows her audiences.
In 100% Love, Grojsman lets loose and has some fun. She draws on her past experience with YSL and E. Taylor’s Diamonds & Rubies in creating a scent that boasts a prominent fruit note-a musty, jammy berry. By veering away from traditional perfumes- a trademark goal of “niche” perfumes- in 100% Love she has replaced the floral note with one of cocoa- cocoa powder, to be exact. This is not the Hershey’s bar of Montale’s Chocolate Greedy or the baking chocolate of Angel. This is more the dusty chocolate of Must de Cartier. This composition reminds me entirely of a bittersweet chocolate cake with raspberry filling, topped with glazed rose petals.
Despite all this deliciousness, there is something that bothers me about this fragrance. Perhaps it is the synthetic nature of the composition. Possibly it is the insidious dustiness. Maybe it is the unidentifiable semblance to Secretions Magnifiques by Etat Libre d’Orange- a scent I find repulsive. I also find 100% Love rather linear, sweet, and juvenile. In character, it reminds me of an early Avon gourmand called Hollywood Pink, which I passed along to my daughter.
While this scent is light on sillage, longevity is very good. It gets high marks for creativity, but I don’t know if this is something I would wear.

Innnnnteresting… very interesting… I’m not sure I’ll ever actually wear this, but I think I want to smell it again.
This is a very light, sheer EDT (perhaps more like cologne or voile in its strength) that really must be sprayed liberally in order to experience the scent. I thought it was just disappearing on my winter-dry skin, but I read elsewhere (Perfume Posse, Now Smell This) that other perfume fans found it so light that they had to spritz far more than they normally would.
On me, this starts with a big burst of chocolate-covered strawberries — absolutely delicious, but not something I really want to put on my body. Luckily, it leaves within 10 minutes, and then it’s all rose petals dusted with cocoa. The incense, musk, and woods are extremely light, and the whole thing is gone in about two hours.
I understand that 100% Love (MORE) has now been released, as a more intense version of the original. I might be interested in smelling it, but again, I really don’t see myself wearing it.

Very light, this is ok, nothing special I would say it has no lasting quality.. Berry is in there. I don’t get any insence or chocolate at all. It’s pretty but sorta boring.
